If you want to wait 5 - 7 days for a car with minor repairs, this is the place for you. We had our issue resolved in just 2 hours at the service center on Stevens Creek

My Santa Fe was recently serviced at Capital HyundaI. They honored the warranty. The customer service was outstanding. The staff was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They had my car for 4 days and provided loner.Jonathan kept me informed all along the way.

Been here twice now. I was in and out in 90min for a recall I needed done for an EV. I had a nightmare scheduling this recall with the dealer I bought this vehicle from. These folks were really efficient and fast and it left a very good impression on me, and I would almost certainly do business with them again. Thank you Javier for helping me both times and thank you to the service staff for being friendly, polite and efficient.

Couldn't be happier with my recent visit to Capitol Hyundai. Had the oil changed in my Santa Fe. I was greeted by some very friendly service guys outside where they showed me where to leave my car. Then I was asked my appt time and last name which was radioed to the service dept inside. John came right out, verified my number, told me how long they would have my car and they actually had my car in service for the time that was given to me by John!!! Now, that alone is impressive. Everyone in that dealership is super nice. I've had some horrible experiences in other Hyundai dealerships so Capitol Hyundai is a blessing.

The service at this location was exemplary! I have owned multiple Hyundai vehicles over the last 10 years and had horrendous service experience at both the San Bruno and San Leandro locations. I was almost to the point where I was going to trade my vehicle in and go with the completely different manufacturer because of the subpar service. I decided to give San Jose a chance and they did not disappoint. My service advisor was Ali and he was very thorough and communicative and properly estimated the amount of time that they would need my vehicle as well as the cost for the work to be done. I was very pleasantly surprised, given my previous experience. I would highly recommend this dealership for any service needs on your vehicle , although this was my first visit, I plan on having my vehicle serviced at this location on a continuing basis going forward even though it s over an hour away from me. They also have a nice lounge area and complimentary coffee/hot chocolate machine.

After having a few extremely difficult service visits - one requiring me to get an issue resolved from another shop - the support team at DGDG did an outstanding job working to make everything right in my last visit. The only consistent downer is the inability to get an electric loaner when they need to keep my EV in the shop. One of these days they will catch up on the EV for EV loaner/rental, until then I'll keep asking!

My service advisor, Ken, was great from the moment I dropped my car off until I picked it up! Fast, efficient and thorough! Despite needing to leave my car for a few days, he had a vehicle ready to go for me that was a perfect substitute for my plans that weekend. Appreciate the great service!

Jon, my service advisor, was very professional & even jolly on a cold morning at 8 am when I had to take my car in for maintenance. He was quick, friendly, & informative- straightforwardly telling me what I was getting done & offered additional services that he thought were appropriate since I drive a lot. This is probably my favorite Hyundai dealership in the bay area. I'd pay for efficiency bc time is money.

I was pleased with my April 12 services, Ali was my service advisor who exceeded his customers satisfaction with patience and provided great customer support. I m also grateful to Jonathan who remembered I already had my spark plugs replaced at an other shop when I was out of town that saved me extra money that I didn t need to spend. I highly recommend Johnathan but Ali was also very good so these 2 will provide you with the best car needs. Also need to mention Jerry the greeter that also pretty awesome.

Our first experience with Capitol Hyundai service was a winner. They checked us in in only a few minutes, had a nice waiting area (clean and bright) with tables and chairs for relaxing or working. Service was quick. Everyone was friendly, cheerful and helpful. While it's a long way to go for us, the experience was tops and that's where our car is going for service.

Quick first time service for the car at 6000 mile marker. They also washed the car and cleaned the rugs inside .. polite and friendly personnel. They broke the windshield wiper while the service but fixed it for free .. overall good experience.

I tried to avoid this place again ever since I took my old Hyundai here years back. I prefer the Steven's Creek service center over this one. Steven's Creek Hyundai prioritizes fixes, inspections, and customer service above all else. Capitol Hyundai prioritizes sales and cash over helping get your Hyundai vehicle to the best working order. They are fake salesman working in the service center under the controlling umbrella of DGDG. They are always trying to squeeze more money out of you. They charged me $1200 for fluid exhange and cleaning service. Coolant flush, transmission fluid exchange, brake fluid exchange, and engine throttle cleaning service. It's atrocious! I never should've told them I did my own oil change, oil filter replacment, engine air filter replacement, cabin air filter replacement, and found out I needed to add coolant because it was the cause of my engine stalls. They took advantage of me. They say their technicians take hours on something that only takes up to two hours max! If only I had the right house to do all my own car work!

I didn t like that the diagnostic fee, which is steep, is separate for every single thing that needs to be diagnosed on the vehicle. Beyond that, the experience was excellent. Ken took care of everything and had my car back to me, working wonderfully, in a VERY short time. Car was clean, service was impeccable

Visited twice over the past few weeks for scheduled service of my Tucson and Santa Fe. This is a good dealership, well organized with a recently renovated wait area with good perks. Things I think they can improve further: (1) a system that will show the customer a breakdown of services recommended so they can clearly see what is part of necessary standard maintenance schedule and what is not. I have always had this issue with Hyundai dealerships that it gets confusing to decide necessary vs nice-to-have. (2) would be nice to post your policy about complementary car wash. I used to get this automatically at the end of service visits, but not any more. I asked the last time and they mentioned it is not offered on rainy days (it was indeed a rainy day) but at the same time while waiting I saw two cars going through car wash.In summary, considering how bad the situation of car dealerships in the Bay Area is, Capitol Hyundai is one of the good ones.

Great service as usual however, I m giving it 4 starts this time because the steering wheel, door and middle console were left dirty with black grease. I understand and respect the work of techs and mechanics but also, they need to be mindful of maintaining the interiors clean or at least, cleaning it afterwards. Other than that, I am always pleased with Capitol Hyundai.

I was greeted promptly on arrival. They were ready for my appt and knew what service I needed. My advisor was friendly and explained the service completely. The waiting area was clean, spacious, and comfortable, showing different programs on three different TVs. My car was ready when promised.

Once I arrive on the Capital Hyundai premises I was well taken care of and treated like royalty until the time I left. Capital Hyundai has the best customer service. Jonathan greeted me with a smile and happiness. He put me in a great mood and explained everything that was going to take place with my car. I felt confident that my car was in great hands. I was in and out of there. 5 stars for Jonathan in the Service department and Capital Hyundai.

Took my Hyundai for an oil change at 1pm and they were done by 2:30pm. I was very thrilled and pleased with the entire process! Javier (Alex) is always helpful and kind and makes everything quick and easy.

Great service. Had some battery warnings with my PHEV, turned out it needed a new battery. Battery took a long time to come in, but the PHEV model of my car hasn t been made since 2019, so that s understandable. Staff was super nice and professional. Ended up costing less than I was expecting. Will come here for my next maintenance

Setting up an appointment and getting information on service prior to taking the car in is impossible. I tried several times and couldn't speak with an advisor on the phone so had to walk in to set an appointment for service. This issue has been going on for a long time and I understand it's hard to find/hire employees but, in my opinion, service is suffering. They no longer provide shuttle/Lyft/Uber rides so dropping off and picking up the car is a hassle. They now have a 3% surcharge on credit card payments. They're not unique in that practice these days but, given the choice, I prefer to not work with a company with that policy. Sadly, after buying my Hyundai from and exclusively servicing it at Capitol Hyundai, I will not return.

I'd give them zero stars if I could. Very misleading service center. Even though the car was under warranty they charged me stating it wasn't the car but the "bad" fuel I added so technically that's not the car warranty...whatever. My car had issues three days after regular maintenance (which cost me over $400). The manager himself admits the car mechanics might have screwed up and caused debris in my fuel tank but they are blaming it on me for putting "bad" fuel which is the most ridiculous thing I've heard since I've been driving for more than a decade and never had this issue even in my older cars. Bought my car from Capitol Hyundai in 2019 always having recall issues or some random crap. The service center rep was pretty bad with "zero communication" on his end, kept my car for almost a week instead of two days as promised stating invalid reasons and slapped a bill of couple hundred dollars stating the paper I signed while handing over the car states that. But when I asked him in person as well on the phone he mentioned there wouldn't be any charge. Transparency is key in good customer service and I'll never buy a car at this location ever. Grade: F-

Terrible customer service.Ken is the worst. Never returns calls and then lies and tells you he never received the 20 voice-mails you left him. Also, he doesn't know a thing about Hyundais. My brand new car was there for months. Then they had the nerve and lie and tell me I need 3k of suspension work done when I didn't. They told me they would pay for my rental then stuck me with the bill.Stevens creek Hyundai is the best place to go for service.

This was my first time there and my experience was good. Everything went smooth and the work was done in a decent time. The only thing I would ask for improvement was that when I got there I was the only car waiting and it still took over 10 min for someone to attend me. Maybe they were short staff that day I m not sure.

The welcoming committee leaves a lot to be desired. The last thing I need to hear at the beginning of the morning is a guy yelling instructions, his demeanor was one of a person with control issues. I did not have an appointment because it was emergency and I had bern stranded the before; however, I was admonished for not having one. Once inside, the service was better than expected considering how I was greeted. I was already resolved to leave my vehicle over the weekend. Ken walked me through the process and kept good communication by providing updates. Overall it was a positive experience. I had previously visited a year ago without an appointment for a general service but was turned away by the same rude individual. Please consider working on his demeanor, in speaking with other customers waiting, he was rude and annoying. Thank you

I've been here twice now for regular maintenance for my vehicle. Each time has been handled professionally and with care. The waiting area has water, wifi, and good seating.
