I have bought three new cars from this dealership throughout the years, and serviced my cars at this location. I do not know what happened to the service and parts department. They take advantage of their customers. If you have to change the shells or covers to your car keys they charge $300 per key which is $600 for a total of two keys. Let me say it again if the plastic cover breaks it costs you $300 per key. I asked the service department s Assistant Manager, Thomas if I can t afford this price do you mean to tell me I won t be able to drive my car. The gentleman said yeah pretty much you won t be able to drive. He didn t care to work anything out. This is very interesting because they would give me a discount if I need to service my car but you can t help me out on the fees regarding the shell covers to keys? 15+ years going by your location and this is how you treat your customers? I live 35-40 minutes out of the area to go to your location. This is so upsetting. Man didn t care at all. He didn t care if I need my car to go back and forth to work. He had a I don t care tone and attitude. I don t have $600 to waste. Don t fall for the smiles, they don t care you, they only care about making money.

Highly recommend this place! Came here after visiting a few other Honda dealers in ONE day and this one had the best customer service. I was very pleased with the staff everyone was super friendly, didn t feel pressured and make the process incredibly easy. My SO was buying his first car ever and they didn t hesitate to try and help us get the best deals. Joshua(josh) was very helpful and he was the overall reason why we purchased here. As I previously mentioned we had visited a few other Honda locations in the day and all other associates were rude, pushy and didn t care to help us. After settling on a price we were headed to sign with Art he was also very kind and helpful in helping us through this long signing process. We will definitely be returning customers when we look for the next car we need.

My wife and went to capitol honda to purchase a specific HRV we wanted with some modifications. Richard Luong helped us through the entire process, he was patient and we had an amazing experience!! The HRV came in earlier than expected and that was amazing! Richard walk us through the entire process! He even had to stay late at night to ensure everything went well with finance! I highly recommend capitol honda but specifically Richard ! Amazing person!! Go see Richard!! Thank you again

I recently purchased a 2024 Honda CRV Hybrid Sport from this dealership and it was a surprisingly nice experience. I had visited a few other dealerships in the San Jose area and they all bait and switched me by giving me a price over the phone and confirming that the car was on the lot only to show up and be told that it had just sold . That wasn t the case here. When I showed up I was greeted by Richard Luong who quickly got me sorted and helped me put a deposit on the model I wanted, which was due to arrive in the coming weeks. Richard called me the following week to let me know that the car arrived earlier than expected. I came in to pick up the car and everything went smoothly - no surprises or pressure selling, just a fair price and good customer service. Delia, the finance manager was also very helpful, efficient, and pleasant to work with. I highly recommend this dealership - be sure to ask for Richard, he was great to work with.

Had a great experience today at Capitol Honda. We went there with very little idea of what we wanted in a car and spoke to Richard Luong. He was an excellent help and lead us directly to the car that ended up being the one. He also let us test drive the car twice just to be sure we were confident in our decision, which was very helpful. If you end up going to this Honda definitely ask for Richard and he'll get you going in the right direction. Thanks Richard and thanks Capitol Honda!

I had an excellent customer experience throughout the interaction with the folks at Capitol Honda. Bryan, our salesperson, was patient, knowledgeable, and helpful. He explained respectfully the difference options and packages to make sure I can make an informed purchase decision. What I really appreciate is that Bryan (Sales) and Lucky (our Fin Manager) were trying to help and not trying to rush towards a sale. I felt like I was visiting an Apple store or a Tesla store, it was that great! I had visited 3-4 dealers in the Bay Area, but Capitol Honda was the very best one who actually helped me purchase a car. Thank you to Bryan, Lucky, and the staff at Capitol Honda!

If you re looking for a used or new car, Capitol Honda is a great option. I came in with a list of requirements (out the door price, car model etc etc), and was quickly offered a very good deal (much better than listed on the price tag). I would like to share my recent experience with Capitol Honda to ensure that future customers are well-informed before making a significant purchase. I recently bought the 2024 HRV EXL from Capitol Honda. After 2 days from the purchase, the vehicle presented a number of issues that warrant attention.Upon closer inspection, I discovered severe swirls and scratches on the car's exterior. Additionally, the leather seats exhibited poor stitching quality, accompanied by deep creasing and cracking, all of which became apparent only a few days into driving the vehicle. Despite the assistance provided in facilitating the return of the car, my concern lies in the fact that the vehicle was allowed to leave the lot without proper polishing or addressing factory paint defects.In my interactions with the dealership, discrepancies arose regarding the post-purchase polishing of the car. Contrary to initial assurances, it was later admitted that the vehicle required further attention, including touch-ups. Even the dealership's own detailers acknowledged the severity of the scratches on what should have been a new car, emphasizing the need for a return.Moreover, my credit was subjected to multiple inquiries within a single day, despite my explicit instruction to only share my credit information with Honda. Capitol Honda ran my credit with various banks, only to offer me the same APR as other dealerships without any added benefit. When I sought clarification on the details of these credit inquiries, the dealership struggled to provide comprehensive documentation, raising concerns about the transparency of their practices. I asked for a copy of the results and they refused to let me keep it despite the information being my own credit score. Extremely unethical.It is disheartening to note that this experience has tarnished what should have been an exciting milestone as a first-time car buyer. I urge prospective buyers to approach Capitol Honda with caution; come prepared with pre-approval from alternative financial institutions, and double check the condition of the vehicle thoroughly, even if it is brand new. This dealership's focus prioritizes swift transactions over ensuring customer satisfaction. Get everything in writing, nothing is "free" at a dealership.Do better Captiol Honda.

I had leased a 2020 CR-V for three years to see if I liked it and was undecided about switching to a hybrid so stayed with all gas. For my driving style and usage either gas or all electric makes the most sense. So I just bought the new 2024 CR-V from Capital Honda and it was a smooth and seamless experience. Tam Nguyen was so helpful and did a great job talking me through the process. I felt like I got what I wanted and didn t have to go through the ringer while negotiating the final price and added benefits it was a clean, straightforward and overall pleasant experience, while being educated on what was the best choice for me and my use of the car. Daniel and his team fixed my car last week. They are incredible. In three days, they resolved all repetitive issues with the braking system in my car. Daniel communicated with me consistently via text message, and he patiently and concisely answered all my questions when I picked up my car after the completion of the services. I highly recommend the mechanics at Capitol Honda. I've been to three other auto shops, and Daniel and his team are the best.

Had to have my car serviced this week. Unfortunately I had some transmission issues, I easily scheduled an appt and had my car towed in, never a good feeling, but I was quickly greeted and taken care of. John Osborne got everything started and let me know what to expect, he assured me he would keep in communication and get me back on the road asap. Sean Kim was my tech and he quickly found the issue and got my car running better than ever. Thank you John and Sean, for making a stressful situation easy, for keeping me updated and and for getting the work done much quicker than I expected. This was definitely a far better experience than I have had in the past at other dealerships and exceeded all of my expectations.

Our sales consultant was Lam Le. He went above and beyond to assist us. He even gave my wife a ride to pick up our kid from the school while I was doing the paperwork. Jerry from Capitol Honda was very patient with me. He was able to answer all of my questions. I highly recommend this dealership. Very friendly people.We went to Honda of Steven's Creek but no one offered help. I understand that weren't well dressed due to that we had just gotten off of work but thats not a reason to disregard any costumers. They ignored us and they were on their phone all the time.

Highly disappointed with the service we received from the sales department. And the product we received. We purchased a 24 pilot and there s damage on the brand new vehicle and days later and multiple attempts to contact they still have not reached back out to me. The whole purchase process took 7 hours not only that the salesman Brian didn t know anything about the process. Said we were receiving items that after finance we were told we were now not receiving it. After the experience we received we will not be returning to buy another vehicle here nor to service the 2 we purchased 2/13/24Update: They called quickly after review was posted. They then made things right, they fixed the vehicle and added some other compensations. They went out of their way to make it right. And Wallie in service killed it, I highly recommend him if you re getting your vehicle serviced with cap Honda.

Capitol Honda makes all the information upfront without hiding anything. They tell you upfront what is the total out of pocket amount I have to pay. Some car dealership make you sign the documents then in tax and DMV fee they add several hundred $ in documentation fee. Capitol Honda does not do that. People working there take care of customer needs and are very good

Really good. They re friendly. I went to couple of dealers, many of the sales-persons were rude and aggressive. Whereas I was happy with the sales-person I was dealing with at Captiol Honda. Buying a car is not like going in a mall and buying something, it takes time and patience. And at the time of making the decision to finalize a deal and buy, you want to be in an environment which is peaceful and good vibey.

Visited this dealership on 12/26/23 with the intention of our purchasing a new vehicle and was immediately greeted by Tam Nguyen. Tam was a gem to talk with and explain our budget and vehicle needs and showed us the large selection available.Unfortunately, that s where the positive experience ends. Needless to say, we couldn t work out a deal, wasted over three hours here. The dealership was not willing to work on out a better deal with us and was not interested in coming closer to KBB value on our trade.Thank goodness, I discovered the following day Tracy Honda that provided better loan terms and more money for our trade.

Dear Capitol Honda Management,I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at Capitol Honda on Jan 24, 2024. As a loyal customer (bought my car from you in Jan 2022 and have been enjoying all the services from you in the past 2 years), I expected a certain level of professionalism and efficiency, which unfortunately was not met.On the said date, I had an appointment scheduled for 3:00 pm for regular car maintenance. Upon my timely arrival, I was attended by Valery Mendez, the service advisor. While I understand the workload can be unpredictable, the lack of communication and poor service I encountered was disappointing.My grievances are as follows:1. Lack of Proactive Communication:There was no indication that the maintenance work might not be completed on the same day. Had I been informed of this possibility earlier, I could have made alternative arrangements to avoid a lengthy wait (3 hours at the waiting area - the last one to be called).2. Delayed Update:Despite waiting in the facility, I was informed only at 5:52 pm, mere minutes before closing, that the work could not be completed. This last-minute notification reflects a lack of consideration for my time.3. Absence of Apology or Explanation:The situation was compounded by Ms. Mendez s failure to offer an apology or a reasonable explanation for the delay and inconvenience caused.4. Inconsistency in Service:The refusal to provide a return ride, contrary to usual practice, added to my inconvenience. Moreover, this inconsistency, alongside my observation of Ms. Mendez's generally positive reviews, raises concerns about potential differential treatment.5. Financial and Time Loss:This experience cost me not only around 4-5 hours of my time (3 hours waiting there + 1 hour for another trip to pick up on the other day) but also an additional financial burden of approximately $35 for an Uber ride to pick up my car the next day.I would like to believe this experience is not reflective of Capitol Honda's standards. However, the lack of empathy and professionalism shown by your staff member has caused me to reconsider my patronage.Moreover, this low service quality makes me question my trust in your service: I was quoted $325 when I dropped my car, and then I was told the total bill would be ~$650 for changing XYZ parts, which I am now doubting if it is necessary.To resolve this matter, I seek a formal apology and a reasonable compensation for the inconvenience and financial loss incurred. Additionally, I urge you to address these service issues to prevent future occurrences.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to a prompt and satisfactory resolution.
