4/18/24 will be 30 days sense I dropped off my 2021 Mach E for recalls and warranty repairs. No updates on progress I ve called weekly and left messages for my service advisor, and the service manager. Finally gave up and opened a case with Ford Customer Care Center. Even they couldn t get ahold of an actual person for status. Including messaging the General Manager. They provided me with a loaner that so far has cost me $130 more for gas to use than my car does to charge and drive. Plus they originally weren t going to provide me with a loaner at all.I bought my car in 2022 when the dealers were marking them up $7000 over manufactures suggested price. I paid them an extra $7000 and the first time I take it in by no choice of mine due to recalls this is the treatment I get. The car will never go there again and I will share my experience with everyone I know and meet. DGDG Capitol Ford in San Jose has the worst customer service I ve ever experienced in my 35 years of buying owning and having cars serviced. Take your business else where. Sunnyvale Ford provides top notch service to there customers. Unfortunately for me Capitol Ford got the recall HVJB for my vehicle faster than Sunnyvale Ford could so I took the car there. Huge mistake. Hopefully I get it back soon and it s done right. Ford Customer Care assured me it will be.

Went in for an oil change and tire rotation on a Saturday. I had issues myself at home trying to get the oil filter off. Thanks Ford engineering for making the service portion of your vehicles so easy to maintain. Seemed to go well staff was very attentive on Saturday, I told my service advisor there were splash guard screws in a sandwich bag in the cup holder. Told me to leave them there and the techs would make sure they were re-installed after service. Screws were left out from replacing of the splash guard underneath the Escape and the vehicle pulls strongly to the left now. Called and left a message with them today, Thursday, telling them just that and have not gotten a return phone call. Maybe if I get a call tomorrow and get my issue resolved I will change my review.Update to 5 stars 12/02/23 primarily because of the service provided to me by the service provider Jesus Murguia! It took some teamwork on my part and his to get my alignment back to at least what is was when I brought it in. 2 trips back to the service bay when the techs forgot the screws again. We had to of had a technician or two tied up for a few hours getting it resolved and no charge from Capitol Ford. Other dealers would not stand behind their work like Capitol Ford did I have experienced elsewhere. Thank you Jesus and your manager above you.

This is my first time using Capitol Ford and I was not thrilled. I had what I thought was a transmission issue, and Morgan Hill Ford just won't do service at all for that. Not at all. Wow, that says volumes about Ford quality. So I made an appointment here, and took it in. It was not a transmission, but the front axle and transfer case, a $6000 repair. Probably way overpriced, but I needed the car fixed, so I did it. My service writer was good, but when he was out of the office, no one else could tell me anything. When I picked up the car, it was covered in sap and the windshield wiper fluid was empty. Filled it up at home, all leaked out by next morning. My service writer did have me bring it in again to fix that, and they found nothing wrong. They did find rodent damage and had to replace my fuse box cover at cost. That was great, but took 4 days to get the part. I feel that the service writer did a great job, but does not have the rest of the team to back him up.

I arrived on time for my appointment and was met by my service advisor within 10 minutes. We discussed what I needed to have the service department research. I received a call at the time I expected and received an explanation of what was performed on my vehicle. Fortunately no problem with my concern but the service department performed a fix for a recall on my vehicle. I picked the car up at the nominal time described by the service advisor. All was good and I left with my car a happy owner. I service both of my vehicles at Capitol Ford service department with no reservations about leaving my vehicles with them.

I take my F250 here always since new in 2018. Mr. Nolan, is my adviser. Always on top of things needed and not needed. For instance I requested Trang fluid change. He said we did recently do not needed. Did make another recommendation and went with that. I ve had a few problems with the truck as I drive so many miles per day 125+. When I did have problems I d make an appointment usually get in the next day or about depending on availability.Always got welcomed, told about certain mileage points for services my truck needed or should be having. Hey their Ford they know better than I do. So I listen. My truck runs great almost like new. Thank you Ford what a great service team. Just broke over 200,000 miles in 5 years. But again it runs like new.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment, Oil change

Wayne let me know the part for my trunk will be in tomorrow and he will call me. He called 8:45 am. We got there 10:00 am he said you and the kids go relax in the lounge. The kids got hot coco and Wayne came back at 10:08 and the trunk works perfectly and we drove out by 10:09 am. Its Awesome when you have people with expertise and experience. Best car service we had. And had so much more time to get errands done and not wait at the dealership for the day. Thank you Wayne.

After having a disgusting experience at the Frontier Ford on Stevens Creek - fighting and begging for them to replace my TCM as they were supposed to (if you don't know, Ford has issued multiple extensions on their "Customer Satisfaction Program" for replacing their faulty transmission control modules; meaning that if your TCM fails, Ford is liable to cover the costs to replace the TCM for you), I finally brought my car to Capitol Ford. Zachary was great, and actually made it seem like he cared about my experience. Luckily, this Ford Service Center had TCMs in stock, and while the paperwork was getting processed and my Ford getting queued up for the replacement, Zachary also resolved another outstanding recall on my vehicle, making good use of the time my car was in the shop. Zachary did a satisfactory job of keeping me updated on the status of my vehicle via text or call (when necessary), and got the TCM replaced quicker than initially anticipated.I am so grateful for Zachary and Capitol Ford Service Center for doing their jobs efficiently and with much better customer service than I've experienced at other Fords. If I need to bring my Ford back to a dealer in the future for any service items, you can bet I'll only be bringing it to Capitol Ford and will likely be requesting Zachary.

The tech Sam that I was working with was awesome. Friendly and just a good person from the minute I drove up. I had an oil change but also a few recalls I didn t know about. They took care of it and had me on the road quicker than expected.. I highly recommend this dealership for all your services and repairs. Thanks Sam and the team.!!

My 2015 Mustang GT Convertible's brakes were squealing for the past 3 months and driving me crazy, and I decided to try out the Ford Dealership and I also had a few recalls, and I am glad I did. I made the appointment online and called a few days later to go over what my appointment was for. So that was great, and my appointment was updated and was sent a confirmation text.Michael was my service technician, and he was easy to work with an had a great attitude. Michael kept we notified with any updates on the repairs throughout the day. The service department finished the repairs on my Mustang and all the recalls, and I picked my car up on the same day. There was even an additional issue with my rear window and Michael called me the next day to let me know how much the repair would be and even sent me the link for the part.I call that working above the line and you don't see that too often in Silicon Vally. DGDG Capitol Ford is a very good to great Ford dealer. We have bought many cars from CF over the years and always had good service. One thing I notice during my last visit was it might be good to have a floating customer service agent in the driveway during high traffic times to help with people who are there to pick up a car. But other than that is excellent service.

Eldin and his team are very professional and had my truck in and out of there in a single day fixed right the first time. Very fast, very reliable service that saved me time and money. I would trust the Capitol Ford service department with every repair on every one of my vehicles. I will never go anywhere else ever again.

I bought this car at Capital Ford brand new and had the service put on my amount that I pay every month so I don't have to pay to have it serviced it will charged and all I have to to do is go in and in and tell them what I need done. They are on top of it. I had an appointment at 1:15 got me. I waited in the nice waiting room. Had TV and Frappuccino machine. But I fell asleep while it was getting done. They had to wake me up. They do have shuttle bus but I decided to wait. Had it all done and had my car washed before I got it back.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Tire rotations, Oil change

I have bought two cars and done all my servicing with this dealership, but my most recent experience was appalling. I brought my mustang in for servicing. The battery had leaked and caused corrosion on one of the terminals, which I informed the team about and asked them to clean it. They didn't know, but I had tested the battery before bringing the car in because I had been concerned about th corrosion. First they tried to sell me $1800 worth of servicing. I opted for just some basics since I only have 10k before the 60k servicing. They called me later to tell me the battery and cable needed replacement. I asked them about the cost. I was approx $400. My battery is lift out. This is not hard to do on my own, neither is the cable. I asked them about the cleaning I had requested. They said it couldn't be done. I asked them to replace the cable alone. Not the battery. They put me on hold and said that couldn't be done either. Since I had already tested the battery, I asked 3 x during the conversation if the car would start and run enough for me to get it home or the autoparts store and was assured it would.I asked the cleaning be deducted from the invoice, paid and asked to pick up my car from the sales floor.I came the next morning and my car was dead. I went to the service office and asked what was going on and was rudely told "I told you you needed a new battery". I reminded them that I asked about it starting and running and was told it would. He just kept repeating the same thing. Then he turned to my BF in front of me and said, "I told her she needed a new battery and cable." My boyfriend does not own or have decision making power regarding my vehicle, so this was just rude.I asked them to jump the car so I could take it off the lot. When he jumped it, I could see that the seat air conditioner had been left on. This uses so much power. (I never use this - it's California - it certainly never would get hot enough to use it on November). It has been left in accessory mode to drain the battery dead, so I would be stranded at the dealership and agree to th extra $400.I took the car to my friend's mechanic. He cleaned the terminals and checked the battery. It's fine. It has plenty of power and is running fine all week. Don't trust this service center. This is the shadiest behavioral and a rude and unsafe way to try to dupe a women into being stranded and paying money she doesn't have to.I was contacted by the manager as a general process to follow up on my service. I emailed all this. That was Mon. Today is Wed. I haven't heard back. I was looking at getting a new car and trading in my gas car for an EV. Not anymore, not after this treatment. Find a good local mechanic you can trust. Don't trust them here.

Had to use Ford Pass tow service to dealership to replace tire. Was after hours. Tire was replaced the next day. Communication was prompt receiving a call first thing in the morning. Very pleased with Capital Ford service department. I took my Mach-e in for a front camara fault and a factory recall regarding DCFC Charging. They fixed both problems and also performed additional service as a preventative measure for known issues which I hadn't yet experienced. Zejna, my service advisor, went the extra mile to find and hold a loaner for me (none were available at the time of the appointment) as the additional repairs added a few days to my service appointment.

I recently had an exceptional experience with Capitol Ford, particularly due to the outstanding service provided by Zejna, my service advisor. When my vehicle's transmission failed, I was initially disheartened by the prospect of a six-month wait for repairs. However, Zejna stepped in and completely turned the situation around.Not only did Zejna manage to get my vehicle into the shop promptly, but she also went above and beyond by arranging for a high-quality rental vehicle for me. This level of customer care and efficiency was incredibly relieving during a stressful time.I am immensely grateful to Zejna and the team at Capitol Ford for their exceptional service. I took my truck in with the engine light on to have that checked and to have the computer re-flashed. Sam did not check anything other than re-flashing the computer and I drove from Scotts Valley and sat there all day. The engine light immediately came back on when I hit Scotts Valley and they are not taking any responsibility. I would not take my vehicle there again as this is extremely poor customer service, not to mention suspect.

I've now been to Capitol Ford twice for my GT350. Both times have been pretty smooth in terms of customer intake once I have an appointment (use the website, I called 12 times last week over the day and never reached anyone). Everyone has been respectful, etc.They've been good about repairing things under warranty (AC Compressor and bumper popped out of place), but its been balanced by some real negatives as well.Both times I've gone, I've received my car back in worse condition. On the first visit for a clicking in my front wheel (that was not resolved...I live with it now) the car returned with a stain in the passenger seat (they mentioned they did an experience tech ride along). On the second visit, my car returned totally splattered in bird defecation. It must have been sitting there for days because I cleaned it immediately upon getting it home, but the damage has already been done and the paint is permanently etched.Currently debating calling and trying to have them do something about it, but I'm not sure what they could do at this point other than a full paint correction and I don't think they're going to do that on half the car....Edit: they took the car back and apologized when I raised the issue. The car was given a wash once over and they got most of the marks from the birds. Was still a bit of a hassle, but they tried to make it right. Raising the rating.

From start to finish, Joey W. did a great job: Close estimate, ready the next day, PROPER parts(for a 2001 F-150), and the back door works better than when new. Joey showed me the old parts and what the specific problem was. AND my truck was left CLEAN when I picked it up. I will be back.

I had the best experience with Zaki and the service department at Capitol Ford. They have great communication and the best service I ever had !!! Thank you for taking great care of me and my car through this process which I had my car Misdiagnosed at tFronteurvfir. Pulled my car out and took it to you guys. Needed a recall fixed and an oil change. Called for an appointment and was given one for the next day. Then they offered to pick up my vehicle! Ramiro picked it up on time the next day. Michael called mid morning and let me know they found another recall so they were going to take care of it also. Then he asked my permission to wash the car! Around 3:30 he called and said the car was finished. Ramiro dropped off my car, gave me the key and it was done! Then I got a text and email from Eldin, the service manager. He was checking in to make sure the entire transaction went smoothly. I am so pleased with Capitol! Everyone was courteous, professional and got the job done. Kudos, Capitol Ford Service!

They charged me more than 1000 dollars for the maintenance. However, after the maintenance, my car got shaking on the highway when I step on the gas. Never had such issues before this maintenance.

They charged me an additional $800 that was not on my pdf bill they sent me. Read the 15 page fine print before signing. It says they can charge diagnostic fees and other things without your approval.You are better off going anywhere else.Only plus side to this location is they get the job done fast.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Vehicle Inspection, Brakes, A/C installation & repair

First time getting my Ford serviced at Capitol... My assigned service advisor, Sam Ortiz, was patient and pleasant throughout the intake process. He quickly created a profile for me and modified my service order to include only the necessary services after I told him that I'm selling my car. While I waited, I was met with food/drink vending machines, a nifty coffee maker, comfortable couches, and clean bathrooms. Highly recommend!

My last visit to Capitol Ford Service was just for routine maintenance, but I was treated as I have been in the past--as if this was a major service. Zachary Rosa has been my service advisor and he made sure I knew what was being done and how long it would take. He kept me informed and treated me with respect. The cashiers were also very nice and professional and eager to help. I would definitely recommend them for any type of work that needs to be done.Services: Tire rotations, Oil change

I was greeted by Joey at the service center when I brought my car in for its 10,000 mile check. He addressed all my concerns and called me when the car was ready. He reviewed all that was done and had answers for the questions I had raised. First off, the two star rating is not a reflection of the people that I interacted while getting my vehicle serviced, they were polite and professional. However, they like us customers are subject to a TERRIBLE process. I first took my truck in for recall work in June, and even though I asked them to pre-order the parts (and they implied they would), the parts were not available, so no actual work was done, and they said that they would call me when the parts (steering dampener) were available. I never received a call. I called once or twice a month for 4 months to inquire if the parts had arrived. Of those 8 plus phone calls, I never spoke to live person, and never got one call back. I finally made another service appt, and simply started the whole process over again. So far two trips to the dealer and zero actual work done. It's a good thing that diesel is so reasonably priced at the moment. Capitol Ford Service management, please try to call customers back when they leave a message, you are driving customers away by making them feel ignored. Update 03/22/24 - More than a year later, and still not called to have this critical TSB taken care of.
