Had to wait much longer than they told me for a retractable tonneau cover to be installed. Then when they were done they just gave me the keys and said the user manual was on the front seat and didn t come out and show it to me or explain how it worked. When you pay almost $500 for a part to be installed it would ve been nice if they spent a few minutes showing that it was installed correctly and how to work it. Bob Anderson from the service department was extremely friendly and courteous, but he had to leave before my truck was done.

Robert was very professional and friendly, he made sure my car was done before expected. Explained clearly what my car needed and gave me his professional opinion to choose the best option for my vehicle. All staff in the department was friendly and I felt very welcome. The service center has a nice working station with free WiFi and coffee vendor machine. Very clean and comfortable area if you have to wait for car. Highly recommended!

This review is long overdue. I've been a customer here at Capitol GMC for over 15 years I've owned 4 Gmc s and have always serviced them here. Staff is always thorough, courteous, and above all honest and trustworthy. I trust these guys and know my vehicles will always be serviced properly. Never had a bad experience in all my years.

My service tech Bob was great, but the front desk people is the reason I wont be going back to this location. So, I'm standing there waiting to pick up my vehicle for quite a while and not one person from the front acknowledged I was there. Then the guy who appeared to be the head guy in the back desk walks my direction, didn't smile, didn't even look at me then nearly pushes me out of the way as he squeezed between me and the counter where I was waiting. Didnt even try to go around me where there was plenty of room. Very rude and arrogant. Message received. I guess I'm not that important as a customer at Capital GMC San Jose. Happy to take my money and friends elsewhere.

I had to wait twice as long as I was told, even with a 8:15am appointment. It took nearly 5 hours for a simple oil change. They didn t resent my dash alerts and it still cost over $400. At least Gilroy GMC washes the vehicle afterwards and is half the price and twice as fast. Employees were not rude, but they definitely were not friendly and they pushed to upsell unnecessary services on everyone waiting. I will NOT be returning.

This was my 3rd time for service on my Buick. I had a 10 am appointment and was greeted by a porter as soon as I pulled in. My service advisor was Gil Portillo. Paperwork was completed and I was in the waiting area within 10 minutes. The waiting area was clean and modern. Service was complete about 11:30. I was happy with the service and I didn't have to clean off any fingerprints.Service: Oil change

Just picked up my car from Capitol Buick Gmc Service Center. The auto and customer service was excellent as usual. Dan Cash guided the efforts and was on point one again with advising brake and service points. The underlying benefits here is Dan doesn't upsell Service when not needed, but tracks and advises when needed. This is a great dealer to take your Chevy / GMC vehicle too. Consistency is the standard here.

Just be advised, if you have warranty have this service team run down EXACTLY what you will be responsible for in the end if it's more than your deductible, and be sure to do this every step of the way. They will charge you a premium bcs of service area. If you know your covered by warranty be sure to have them confirm that with you before they take your car in or give you a rental. Dan seemed very reasonable and helpful in the beginning and once the bill came and it was over what we discussed, to which I pointed out and questioned, he became a nasty man, yelling on the phone and texting things with "!!!!!!!!" That many marks and to "never take your vehicle here AGAIN"Not professional. Just be advised, get everything in writing that's all.

Outstanding service by Kurtis was told that an update would come on or before 2:00 pm and sure enough he called to give me an update. I was given my opinions on the care of my vehicle no pressure. I chose the option I wanted and they followed through done on time. I will recommend this service department to all friends and family. Took forever to get car fixed and bad communication till one of the technicians gave me an update also for charging me almost 460 for a new hose with valve that exploded and coolant was leaking when car was on and spilled coolant by the engine thought they would ve been professional and wiped it clean nope just charged me for parts and labor.

I took my car to get fix and took several days to get a belt put on and I got my car 11/24/2023 and the car is making noise from where the belt was change and I am have to take my car 11/26/23 to get check again. I spent $3000 and the car still have problems.

After a very bad experience at a local Chevy dealers service department I was fortunate enough to find Capitol Buick GMC's service department. I had a very peculiar transmission issue going on and they took the time and effort to figure it out and later replace my transmission and torque converter, under warranty. Beyond how well they LISTENED to me. John and Bill went ABOVE AND BEYOND with frequent phone calls /updates. Supply chain caused issues finding a replacement transmission, but it was no problem because Bill got me in a loaner vehicle for the entire 6 week adventure. Fast forward almost a year and things are still running smooth! I recently visited again for maintenance and they met me with a smile and level of professionalism you just won't find anywhere else.
