I have been here several times with our vehicles and Jose is awesome. He is a one man shop but you would never know it. He works very quickly, is super efficient and friendly too. This time I needed a smog for our registration renewal, I paid $50 and was in and out in 20 mins. Definitely recommend!

The business owner saw me respectfully waiting 15+ minutes for him to finish what he was doing with a customer only to tell me his computer did not work on Subarus. Which was likely a lie and he didn t want to mess with smogging my car.If you know you re not going to render services to someone that is obviously at your establishment as a patron, don t waste my time, tell me up front. I ve been coming for years to this location with other vehicles, this guy lost all my respect with his lack of respect for my time.I would not recommend this smog check location. 1 star review is being generous.The guy talks under his breath, poor communication.

Always bring my vehicles and very satisfied with the workmanship. Owner is very friendly and gets the smog done fast and efficiently. Would have gave him a 5 star, but he doesn t open on time. It s Saturday, he s supposed to open at 8am, it s now 8:23am. That s the only flaw that really hurts his business.

DO NOT GO HERE!This guy is NEVER here on time.If you check the review, he's rarely here during Opening business hour. If you got to open late, then change your business hour!Drive 6min to Smoguys, he open at 8:30am and he's often there 10min before he open his business.Service: Smog certification

This is a first time I brought my van to this shop. The Technician is very polite and helpful. He ran back and forth to work on between cars so his customers don't have to wait long and the price is fair. His name is Jose. I would recommend this shop to everyone.

I ve went to this place 4-5 times to get my cars smog tested. It s been simple and easy. It only takes 10-15 minutes to get it done. The price is $50 and I m not sure if it s expensive or not, but I ve had a good experience every time.I recently went to get my smog test for my car and it failed because there s a hole in my cold air intake hose. I was told to replace that and and I can return for free when I got it fixed. I replaced it, but I was missing spring/metal brackets to hold the hose in place. I came back a third time and I finally passed. Jose didn t charge me extra for coming in a third time.

I looked on line for a place to get my car smog so I can get me tags renewed. After looking online I went to "Capitol & Senter Smog Test". Jose who did the test, was very professional and courteous. Work was done promptly. It was $50.00. I could of saved some money but it was worth the extra mile that Jose performed. Highly recommend.Service: Smog certification

waited 30 minutes and then the smog tech couldn't figure out how to plug in the ob2 scanner. told me he couldn't do it. i bring it to the next smog place and the sude figures it out in 15 seconds (april 5, 2023, 3:15pm)

Says open but the doors are locked, no one is here and no answer when you call, must not care about their business. It s 9:46 am. Great waste of gas.

Came here at 8am, they suppose to be open from 8am to 6pm... almost 8.30am, still no sign of any activity inside. So, what I'm supposed to do? wait longer hoping that they would open soon? go home and come by later when they'll be busy? They should be more fair about working hours. Other than that - fast and efficient service, and the technician was very polite.

They advertised that they are open until 6pm. Arrived at 5:10 and an employee closed the garage door after seeing us pull up and park. Went inside and asked for a smog check and they told us to leave because they are closing early. Not happy.

I have been coming here for a smog test for a few years now. Very friendly and consistent service. This time around, inspire of Covid, care was taken to maintain social distancing and all protocols required for safety purposes.Highly recommend this place.

A very professional guy. I gave my car, he did a thorough inspection, did all the tests and gave me the smog result. I had been to couple of smog test who were cheaper, but they try to rip you , stating issues with the car. This person does not engage in any unwanted talks . He had his mask, shield and gloves. He was very careful about social distancing rules.Services: Smog certification, Emissions testing

The system in use apparently lacks the software upgrades to detect an e46 2003 bmw 3 series. Technician was dismissive and said I had to go elsewhere

I had to take my Toyota Prius in for a smog check. Jose serviced my car quickly. Super friendly and a great person to do business with. Just go to him a have a great day.

Jerk! The main guy doing the smog was not friendly. I asked what the estetrd wait time would be, he told me he didn't know and he had other people to help. What happened to acknowledging someones presence? Horrible service. I'll take my business elsewhere.

The only place i go to get my car smog tested. Safe, Fast, efficient and reasonably priced. Can't fix any issues if you dont pass. Other wise good for getting ypur car tested.

Not open. It s after 10am on Saturday. They are supposed to open at 8am. Doesn t answer the phone. Can t leave a message because memory is full. Waste of time on a Saturday. Thanks a lot!

If I could give less than 1 star today, I would. Says they are open today (Saturday) 8am to 6pm. It's almost 11am right now and still closed. The cashier inside the gas station said that he was here and open. They are not.
