I highly recommend Bob s!After bad experiences in the past, I ve never been one to take my vehicles to the shop and I always do repairs myself.However, when my transmission went out during a road trip last week, I was left with no choice but to have it professionally rebuilt.A day after dropping my van off at Bob s, I got the call from Candace that Bob and the crew had already finished with the repair.I ve never been more happy to pay for a service.Fair pricing, efficiency, excellent communication, and no short cuts.You d be a fool to take your vehicle elsewhere!

I would like to give them 5 stars I went to Bob s Almaden to check my car charging system. Yesterday AAA changed the new battery and they told me that I need to check my charging system. After Bob s Almaden checked it, they told me that the system is good, I don't need to worry about that, also they gave me some useful advice. Thanks! ! I will come back here if I need any car service.

I have been bringing my cars to Bob s Almaden transmission for many years. Bob and his staff always do a great job for reasonable prices. Professional, friendly, always a good experience. I feel great peace of mind knowing that my cars are in their hands.

This is the second time that my dad and I have used Bob's Almaden Transmission. The first time around was a few years ago when the automatic transmission went out on our 94 Chevy Blazer. We were so satisfied with the results of the Chevy that we came back when the manual transmission on my 05 Mazda 3 went out. Bob and Candace were knowledgeable, incredibly helpful, and flexible when it came to finding a time to work on and pick up my car. He also put a new clutch in my car and it's like night and day compared to my old clutch. Thank you Bob and Candace and if I ever need transmission help, I know who to go to!Service: Transmission

I was referred to Bob from a friend. He's great! Him and his team are very knowledgeable, professional and they like cars. It's nice to see that after so many years of working on them, he is still an enthusiast . He also cares, and is honest. Rebuilt my 2007 e350 transmission in a day and had it right back to me. Incredible service and quality of work. I would recommend Bob to anyone.

I really, really like this place. I seem to have terrible luck finding mechanics that aren't a dealership. I recently moved out here and if my was the only concern, I should've moved out sooner. They identified and repaired issues that previous places had overlooked. Very reasonable pricing and always super friendly to do business with. I would highly recommend them for your standard maintenance and repairs, big or small.

I called Bob's on a friends recommendation (he had a transmission rebuilt, had some problems later, and Bob's took care of it about a year after the rebuild), the office manager was very nice and told me to come in later that afternoon. I came in and talked to Bob, he immediately took my truck for a test drive and told me I didn't have a transmission problem at all. He spent a fair amount of time with me giving me some sound advice on what the issues were (engine misfire) Bob seems to know his stuff and knew about several common problems with my engine - validated on Google and doing the work myself this weekend. While I don't have a job for him this time, I won't hesitate to bring my vehicle to him next time I have a problem. He seemed willing to do other engine maintenance in addition to transmissions.

After dealing with Dishonest Dealerships in the San Jose area & needing transmission work on my vehicle, I decided to try "Bob's Almaden Transmission", when I entered the shop I noticed it was very clean & I was greeted very nicely by the receptionist who was knowledgeable about cars, I explained the problem with my vehicle & she was able to fit me in that morning & give me a ride back home. It turned out I needed to have my transmission rebuilt, when my car was ready, the cost was a few hundred Less then the estimate & half the cost from the dealership (that was awesome)... As a result, I now bring both of my vehicles here for Any type of work because they are also a Full Service Shop as well... I have finally found a HONEST, Full Service Shop!!!Thank You, AudrA

Did a transmission rebuild on a 2005 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited. Did a great job and have been very accommodating. They also helped fix a few other issues while it was in. Super helpful.

10/7 have used previously twice on two different vehicles. Great service. Extremely busy, couldn't get an appointment to fix transmission until next week. Not good. Have to fix now. Hard time shifting afraid to break down and get stuck.

Bob stands behind his service. On time and done right. After bad experiences with my past shops I honestly thought it was as good as it gets theses days. WRONG!!, Bob s Almaden Transmission proved to me there are still good shops out there. I RECOMMEND BOB s.......
