We just moved into the area and asked some friends for auto mechanic referrals, B&C was the one we went with and we have been thrilled. We have an older Ford Ranger that needs a little TLC occasionally, and B&C have been great. The prices are fair, work well done, and promises kept. Zero hesitation in recommending them for your auto work.

I went to B&C originally for warranty work and it went so smooth. The whole crew knew what they were doing and with confidence. They were able to answer my questions without hesitation as if they have seen my truck a hundred times.You can tell when someone has a lot of experience. I trust their suggestions and work so much that I am switching mechanics.

I affectionately call this shop my little Dukes of Hazzard shop. Just good old boys doing a good old job at what they do best, mechanical repairs! It was done in a very timely manner, The communication was immaculate, and so far so good and I've had my vehicle back for at least 3 days.The only thing I could probably critique is it would be nice to have some type of little shuttle service. I walked two and a half hours to get back home after dropping off my car.But other than that I have really no complaints they repaired a water pump on my car which was an extensive job! And so far so good. Highly recommend

B&C has been our auto service and repair center for more than a decade. They have a Great front office and great team of mechanics. Steve is honest and accommodating. I never question B&C s recommendations nor their pricing because they are always fair and always do great work. Appointment turnarounds and services are provided quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend bringing B&C your Hondas of all models and years.

I originally took my vehicle to another shop to have them determine why my car would not pass smog. The cost of the diagnostics was high but since they had a high Yelp rating I felt it was justified. After 2 days at their shop and continually following up with them, they determined I needed a new engine. I knew this was bogus and reached out to a smog expert who then referred me to B & C. I scheduled an appointment with B & C and was able to bring my car in right away. The diagnostics was completed the same day with a recommendation to replace my catalyst converter. Based on B & C's advice, I authorized them to install a new catalyst converter, which was completed the same day and my vehicle passed smog. If I had gone to B & C in the first place I would have saved over half of the cost for the diagnostics and half of the time wasted at the other shop. The B & C personnel were really easy to work with and they kept me informed in real time. B & C is now my new go to place for my vehicles.

My experience with this auto repair shop was highly positive. Their efficient and reliable service, combined with their knowledgeable mechanics and excellent communication, made for a satisfying customer experience.The overall quality of work and professionalism is first rate. I will definitely be returning to this shop for future auto repairs and would recommend it to others in need of a trustworthy and competent service provider.

The starter went out on my 2004 Suburban on a Monday morning. They got me in on short notice and had the vehicle done in three hours. Reasonable pricing and knowledgable/professional staff. Will definitely return.

I have used B & C Auto for the last 4 years and each time the staff has been very honest and professional. As a senior and woman, I am a prime candidate for being taken advantage of, but B & C has always been straight with me, never charging me more than I need. Much appreciation!

I recently moved to Willow Glen area and had been looking for a good Auto center. I am glad that I found them. I visited for an oil change, and I was impressed with their prompt and efficient service. Their prices are a bit more friendly compared to others in the area. I'll definitely be returning for future car maintenance needs. Highly recommended!

This is an old school auto shop in the sense that they care about customers and give you a skilled, honest assessment of what your car needs or doesn't need. If anyone in San Jose ever asks me if I know a mechanic, I will emphatically recommend B&C.

We took our Prius here a few times and had good service except for our last service we had done there. Had tires rotated and brake diameter checked on brake pads, they did not write down remaining pad width on work order so we know how much life of pad is left and the tire rotation caused a tire to make noise while driving, (not necessarily their fault, could be under rotated tire). The issue we have is they failed to to put air in tires that were low, charged us $95.00 to rotate tires, and over $400.00 to put 4 new spark plugs in, including price of plugs. That is outrageous! Do not thing we will be returning to this service garage as were not happy with service this time.

This was our first time using this business and we were very satisfied with our service. They were able to take our vehicle in right away and working with Steve in their front office was great. They had our car issue diagnosed, repaired and back to us in about a day. We would definitely recommend B & C to people for their auto repair needs and would happily use them again if the need arises for us. Very pleased with the service received. Steve was a friendly voice on the phone. He was equally friendly and amazingly helpful when I came into the shop. He kept me informed of the cost and progress of repairs and my car was returned to me right away. The mechanics did a great job. Towed my 2006 Volkswagen beetle. The car wasn't running. I bought the car second hand so I was wondering about the timing belt and brakes. Ended up fixing it, said the timing belt and brakes were fine. I trust these guys 110%.Later they found where an oil on my daughter's mini Cooper was when other garages had no clue. The pistons were misfiring and now it runs like a charm.I also brought a Hyundai. The dealer was pushing to replace the front sway bar joints and charging me close to $700. B&C told me that unless the car was making noise (which would drive us nuts), we should not worry about it (and the repair was a fraction of the price quoted by the dealer).I am going back there for sure.

I've had some really good experiences at this shop. Professionalism and communication are top notch here. Everyone I've interacted with has been helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I feel calm and confident leaving my car there and knowing they are working on it and there is a plan that they keep me updated on. Much different than my last mechanic, lol. I like getting an oil change done by qualified mechanics who aren't always trying to upsell me on an unnecessary service. They were also able to diagnose and repair a timing belt/ CVT transmission issue that had stumped two other mechanics. I took 2 Vehicles in for Servicing, last week, prior to a long trip. Once again, I had the pleasure of doing business with Steve. There are, always, monthly Coupons, which Steve accepted for one Vehicle, and gave Me a deal for the other. He and Derek are, always, so pleasant, and willing to work with Me. These guys are great! I learned about them from the previous owner of my son's car. They not only remember the car but the last owner. They were amazing, even called back today to remind me to make sure to get 2 new tires, because i mentioned his safety was my biggest concern. I'm not from the area and had car trouble driving through and was referred to B&C by a local. Every other auto shop I called couldn't see me for a week or two, but they got me an appointment the next day even though they were busy. They were very straightforward and honest about their findings and didn't try to gouge me for unnecessary repairs. They were even able to properly diagnose a rear end noise that 3 other mechanics couldn't resolve, and they repaired it for a very reasonable price. Great customer service. I was introduced to B&C by my boyfriend, whose entire family has been bringing their vehicles to B&C for many years now. I have an older Jeep that I off-road with and it can be very difficult to find a shop that is willing to work with a modified vehicle, or with someone who likes to do their own work on their car. Steve and Derek (and all the technicians) have been nothing short of wonderful to work with. Kind people all around, they know their stuff, and I can't say enough good things about them. They have been SO good that my parents who live an hour away have started bringing their cars down to have B&C repair them. I definitely recommend B&C, you would be hard pressed to find a better crew.

I have used these guys for years and they are just the best.My Honda Civic was making a rather alarming noise and they took the time to recreate the noise, dig deep, find the most cost effective, and straight forward repair. I went it with the dread but through their thorough investigation <and talking me through what they were doing> I left with an easy fix. They're the best!Service: Vehicle Inspection

1st time customer, definitely won't be the last time. Recommended by a family member and I am thoroughly impressed. I took my car to 2 different mechanics who couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. B&C auto was able to diagnose and fix the problem at a fair price. I got recommended these guys from a friend and they ended up being great. Steve and Derrick are alway very friendly and knowledgeable about what they are doing. They've done some major work on my car (replaced an entire engine) and it came out fine. Very competitively priced also, after shopping around a little bit for the big job, so I'll definitely be taking stuff here for the work that I can't do myself!

After getting an estimate from the dealership that was so expensive I had doubts about even keeping the car, I wanted a second opinion. B&C checked it out, and found very little wrong with it. They also identified some minor issues the dealership missed, including a burned out brake light, and a nail in my tire. Among the problems, the dealership wanted to replace the entire power steering pump, and B&C said its only a loose hose and a fitting that costs $10. I'm so grateful for their honesty! I also love that I can book an appointment online. Highly recommended!
