If there's one party to "crash", it's this AutoZone. You and a few friends can have a "smashing" good time. So pile 'em up! Er, I mean, pile on in, for the fender-bender special everyday! 5 days since I return an item and still haven t get a refund today is last bussiness day just an FYI when you return something on this store I call my bank they told me is AutoZone not making available the funds this very upsetting I would not purchase anything from this store again.

They are very polite and knowledgeable.If one doesn't have the answer they will lead you to the correct t person or assist you with whatever it is u need. Recommend 100%.

I needed to change my windshield wipers real quick with the rain in San Jose. I asked a gentleman at the register and got an immediate response, he couldn't help. Or he didn't know how. I went back in and asked another representative and Ronaldo was able to help me right away, no questions asked. Very much appreciated, he needs a raise!

I called to find out if they had a radiator for my car. The person told me yes, they had 1 and they told me $179. When I arrived, I told them year make model, and David said $349 or something close to that. I said the person on the phone told me $179. He asked who that was. I said I don't know. He said are you sure you called this store, because we don't even have one in stock, Alum Rock store has one, but it's $349. ( I was so upset, I don't remember exactly how much it was listed as, over $300 though). He continued to give me a hard time about employee names and was being evasive answering my questions about who it could have been that told me the price and that they had the part in stock, so I asked to speak to a manager. He told me he and the other guy working were the managers and he asked, " did I want to talk to one?" I said yes. And yes, if you're thinking that doesn't make sense for him to ask me if I wanted to speak to one, if he IS a manager already. The "other" manager came over and looked up the year, make, model and told me the same info about price, etc. So I left.

This review is for Edward, who helped me today (3/15/22) and was extremely patient with a difficult key battery change on a Mercedes fob that he had never seen before. His colleague tried to send me to another AutoZone because he was unsure of how to change the battery. I am glad Edward was able to step in and carefully figure it out (his colleague tried using a box cutter to pry the fob open and I just about died).Edward has excellent customer service skills and is an asset to this AutoZone (Capitol/Story).

Was great better than wasting 30 min of my time at 0reilly's claiming they have the right size and matching info crank start and all that of the battery. The guy pulled about ten off the shelf went to the back to check his stock. We got it he says as he passed by me several times while searching. I took my battery to auto zone I was in and out in less than 20 minuter I had about 7 people in front of me.

They don t allow me return an item value $14, event I am member, they asked me work with their manager, ask me wait for a hr.

Walked in to get a couple of simple parts. First thing I noticed was the very loud very inappropriate music. Foul language vulgar disgusting lyrics loud enough to hear outside with the door open. Very glad my children weren't with me. No reason to play music like that in a auto parts store. Went to the counter to ask for the part I needed which stated in stock online. Counter person told me their inventory was terrible and its better to call and check with the store which I actually attempted bu they didn't answer the phone. I think I'll shop elsewhere.

Michaela is amazing. She provided me with great customer service and offer me promotions on items I was looking for. She went out of her way to help me replace my car battery. I definitely recommend these place because of great people such as Michaela.

Jose the assistant manager was very helpful and patient for us because we had lots of questions for the parts that we were buying. Although they were busy and there was a long line we didn t feel rush. Very professional and friendly... Keep it up Jose!

It seems as if this place is under poor management. Where I did have a poor personal experience where I ordered a part through this store that came from a store just 25 min away, that could've arrived same day had it been ordered early enough. I checked back in 7 days past the order date and they hadn't received the part, they assured me it would be in that day or the day following. 10 days past order date and still no part, they re ordered the part from a different store and said they'd give me a discount when it arrives, hopefully it does. Now I understand that might be something out of their control so I can't put too much blame on them for that but, the wait times are excruciatingly long. Everytime I come in there's a line of 5 people and there's at least 3 registers open sometimes 4. Each customer takes 15-20 min at the register, even if it's for something simple, which is a bit too long if you ask me. Upon asking for my part for the 2nd time I saw what I think is the manager rummage in the back through shelves upon shelves of boxes some open some closed but definitely just thrown on the shelves. It seemed to be really disorganized. No worker was on their respected register so all workers were asking each other for their register codes yelling over customers. There was a worker in the back counting a register but yelling to the workers in the front about not work related issues which would be okay if it wasn't so loud and didn't stop the workers from getting through they're already really long line. I waited in line for probably 20 or so minutes and waited behind the counter for probably 30 minutes only for them to say again my part hadn't arrived. There were points where not a single worker was at the register and people were all waiting looking at each other and I know for a fact only 2 workers were looking for parts there must've been another 3 or so doing unrelated activities. This place is by no means understaff they have more than enough to get the job done. This place is severely poorly managed though, I would speculate and say that the manager probably got the job out of seniority not out of qualifications. I do question the expertise of the workers however in general, and furthermore how this place conducts business is really appalling. It is right next to my house and I will travel 25 minutes if I have to not go to this place again, very disappointing. Zero stars if possible.

Will never go back to this store again. They are skipping customers from the line bcz associates dont have the ability to support customers with other stuff. SERVICE IS WAY TOO SLOW that makes a very long line. One cashier is taking too long bcz they talked about other things instead of the parts needed by the customer. 2/29/20 from 9:00-10:00AM. I wont be surprised if this store will close soon. You are pushing your customers away!

It's a good place to go for parts and some advice. A lot of times busy but, staff is still civil (if not friendly). Prices are usually lowest of competition and parking is always plenty and convenient.

Just came out of this store, must give a good review, specifically of the parts manager (I think his name is Joe or Jose or something similar). I bought exhaust manifold gasket and spark plugs for my boat engine at another store. They gave me not only wrong parts but refused to exchange/ return because I didn't have the receipt. And they didn't have the right parts in stock, instead sending me to this store. The service here is excellent, very professional, efficient and friendly. Jose even let me trade in the wrong spark plugs, no receipt was ok. I am impressed and very happy with the service.

didn t have a diagnostics machine for me to use, then suggested I drive to the next location.. if your car is on the verge of breaking down, call before you visit this location

I gave this 5 stars to the manager danelia every time I go in to buy parts I wait for her because she always gives me the best service she makes sure I leave the store with everything I need and went in for people like her should be in every AutoZone this my favorite store I could rate this store with more than 5 stars I would thank you AutoZone for having people like her.

Went to the curtner location. Got a simple filter and sparkplugs. Gave the guy the information on my car ,I ended up with all the wrong parts and had to go to a different location to get the right ones I would stay away from the Curtner location , you should hire people that are knowledgeable about what they are selling. I would like to thank the story Road location for getting me my right part so I can get my car fixed I would give you 5 stars

Unless you have a dying emergency and this happens to be the only auto shop on the way... You can happily give this shop a miss. Long waiting lines at the billing counter and very unfriendly staff. They couldn't care less if you were the most important person under the sky.

I foolishly locked myself out of my car not too long after arriving! I asked for help and I'm so grateful for Robert and Jose for helping me getting my Keyes out of my truck! Thanks to them I didnt need to call a tow truck and I got to buy my steering wheel lock I needed

Ever time I come to this place there is always a line and people don't know where the line begins. The associates are great but this place is always busy and I had to drive off bc of the line. Parking can be a problem at time. I suggest you come here only if you really need to or have to. Otherwise, they are great.

There's either a long line or there's not - either way, even with the line, it goes very quick! Typical auto parts store - quiet except for the occasional conversation with a customer -clean but a little tiny and cramped.

I got A fix it ticket for my head light came into auto zone on story and Capitol had the best service I could have imagined. They helped me get the light and put it on ,they really helped me from having to pay a ticket for my light . Really appreciated the help jose Marquez

bad service tonite my husband went in trying to buy a part for his truck and the manager Luis did not helped him at all. He took in a sample of the part he needed and he still would not sell him the part, i thought their job was to sell and make business, when i called the store to ask he told me i needed to call the dealer? what dealer am i gonna call if our is not a brand new truck from the dealer in tat case i would of just taken the truck to the dealer to get it fixed.
