Will offer you less than 4k for your car and resell it for 13k. Thought this was a great place to work with but they are not the same dealer they were 10 years ago. Took almost 8 hours for them to finish paperwork. Then they will spend the next several weeks spamming you car offers like you didn't just buy a car from them. Don't let them talk you into a bunch if extra stuff you don't need nearly doubling your payment. I definitely should have known better. Volvo is still a great car, dealer less so.

Just bought a used Nissan Altima from this dealership and it was the BEST car purchasing experience I've had yet. The car was in pristine condition for a 2014 and the listed price was a steal especially compared to market value.Laura Blanc is the wonderful Sales Consultant that helped me and she went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my new vehicle as well as being super attentive throughout the entire purchasing process (printed out the entire manual since the car didn't come with the original, grabbed water and snacks during paperwork, and followed up with very kind voicemails & emails after the purchase) . Thanks to her I felt really comfortable with buying this car and she really helped when it came to making sure I was able to reserve the sale since many others were also interested in the Altima. On top of that the price for the vehicle actually went up $800 the day I planned to buy the car. But thanks to Mo (Manager) and Laura, the dealership honored the PenFed quote I had from the night before with the previous price so I was able to get the highly sought for Altima for an even better price!! To conclude, my experience here was amazing. The dealership's employees are all great individuals (Especially Laura Blanc) and I hope to come back in the future to buy more cars.Thank you AutoNation Vovlo San Jose!!!

Update (Dec 2023): I was contacted by Albert (Service Manager) to compensate for my bad experiences I had. It is good that the management is taking the review seriously to correct things. I had my XC90 serviced back and was offered a car loaner.Nov 2023 yearly service: My first service here in Volvo San Jose is sucks. They committed on a certain day for pick-up. I'm calling and texting before the end of the committed day but didn't got any reply. I went there just before end of closing hour and the car is not yet done. So unprofessional.I really don't want to go there for another yearly service, but I wanted to give them a second chance. There is also a sharp edge on the center console that often cuts my finger that needs to be fixed (manufacturing workmanship issue) since I bought my XC90-T8(2021) there. I had my car for oil change, and they recommended it for tire rotation and wheel balancing which I agree to do. There is no car loan offer or even free Uber ride home. When I got my car after 4days, I feel that it is not properly serviced since it is not even cleaned. On my way back to office 17miles away, running in 101 freeway 70-75mph my tire blew up with the tire almost get out of the rim which could have killed me. Luckily, I was able to get safe on the side of the freeway. It is really traumatic and when I communicated to them, they are not taking any liability and just offered to replace the tire with discounted price. I don't feel safe anymore doing service to them plus the stress dealing with them. It is not worth it owning this expensive car and having this kind of service. I initially thought of getting Volvo transitioning to EV Cars but after all the experiences I had with them, it is not a consideration anymore. I even considering trading my XC90 already. My experiences with BMW for my X1 and Mercedez for my Sprinter are far better compared to Volvo which is really terrible. Don't want to deal with them anymore.Their service is only good during sales. I even get all the warranty package worth ~10k for up to 10years but after more than a year I cancelled it even losing money since when I'm claiming for the dent service which is included on the package, the insurance declined the service.

The team at AutoNation Volvo Cars San Jose went above and beyond to get me in an incredible new (to me) car. Although the car I was originally looking at sold before I could get it, they found an even better one for me at a very reasonable price. They also gave me a good deal on my trade-in. I would highly recommend them and will definitely be returning when I need a new vehicle in the future. Laura Blanc is an incredibly hard-working and responsive sales representative--ask for her!

The initial visit was fine; test drove the car and discussed potential purchase. Over next day or so, decided to purchase car. Advised sales rep that wanted to pay cash, but needed to transfer funds and that could take a couple of days. She said that would be ok as long as we put a deposit on a credit card. She also said we could take delivery of the car the same day. After 3 hours of largely sitting around, we were told by the finance manager that we could not take the car until the funds cleared. It was a very frustrating experience.

I had an extreme disappointing services. Great Car I like. BUT The world's worst services on the planet. Period. I will buy another great Volvo at a different Dealership. Hello the owner, let me know if you need my feedback. Your man broke my Volvo while working on it and you sent it to a bodyshop. It took 3 weeks to fix it. The guy gave me a rent a car. Sure. The guy said you will pay. Sure! As you broke my car in the first place. . Instead Rent a car guy charged my AMEX $$$$. I was pissed. I am waiting for a refund. ASAP. You should know who this guy is. I am talking to you, Sir, the owner. Why did you charge me $$$. Please tell me why. Best. Shin

The sale and purchase experience was excellent. From Laura the salesperson to Kyle in finance. They made accommodations for us I did not expect. Those accommodations were we were pressed for time because we had our twins to pick up from school. Kyle completed only the paperwork necessary for us to take the car off the lot and arrange a time for us to come back and complete the necessary paperwork and provide them with the balance of our down payment. I was expecting the typical car sales technics and was pleasantly surprised. AutoNation Volvo is a class act all the way around.

The buying experience was nice, obviously because they wanted to sell you the car. But the afterward is terrible.1. The guys at the shop offered to transfer my belongings from the old car, which I decided to trade in, to the new lease. I drove the new one home and realized my sunglasses and garage door key weren't in the pile. Thinking they must've missed them I came back to the shop the very next morning, checked the trade in thoroughly but still couldn't find my stuff. Pretty sure someone had taken it, but I have no proof, so there you go. Bought a new car but lost my sunglasses, and I had to reset my garage because those people know my address and now have my key. Beware of petty theft and make sure to check your belongings.2. I was told that the payment for my trade in ($2000) would come in 10 business days. It has been more than 3 weeks and nothing is in the mail except the first bill from them. I tried to contact their manager multiple times, via phone and email, only got to the receptionist who can only take a message and nothing else. Still don't know what happened to my check as I write this.

Excellent service experience!I was able to secure an appointment within 48 hours of reaching out.I was greeted when I arrived, Provided a loaner car due to my vehicle, being under manufacturers warranty, and was on the road within minutes.My concern needed some investigation, and I was updated every day as to the status of the inspection, parts availability, and a potential Install date.Once I returned, after the repair was complete, the check out process was seamless and instantaneous.I was back on the road within minutes, as if nothing had ever happened.I think the team at Autonation Volvo for this Repair so easy to work with and so comfortable.Thank you very much guys. The service has always been amazingly good. We're still under an extended warranty, but there's never been any upsell or pressure to buy things that aren't needed. This time I asked to have the battery replaced since it's probably about time - Volvo uses an extra large battery so they're a bit of a pain to get - but the diagnostics said it wasn't necessary. I can't recall any other dealership saying "We know you asked to replace the battery, but it's not necessary so there's no need to spend money on it." The extended warranty is ending, but we'll probably keep coming back.

I recently leased a Volvo XC60 Recharge from AutoNation San Jose, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The team, especially Sales Manager Suraj, Sales Associate Umar, and Financial Manager Kyle, went above and beyond to make it a great experience.When I explained my lease return terms and budget to Suraj over the phone, he not only met them but also upgraded the vehicle trim level to exactly what I wanted. We went here to test drive a car. There was nowhere to park our car so we ended up parking on the street. Walked in and no one got up and greeted us. We stood around for awhile then walked through the building and into the car lot. Lots of people sitting in offices on phones. Still no one talked to us. Walked around the lot and looked in cars and still no one to talk to. We left. We'll take our business elsewhere.

My XC90 started making a strange clunking noise from the front, and I was able to make service appointment within a few days. When I arrived for the appointment, the service advisor checked me in right away and grabbed a senior technician to go on a test drive with me to listen for the noise. I was given a loaner XC90 which saved me time and hassle getting home (and back to the service dept when my car was done). The service advisor sent me at least half a dozen text messages over the next few days to keep me informed about the progress, from ordering parts to performing the repair.

I had an incredible experience at AutoNation Volvo Cars San Jose.The service was perfect, and both Umar and Moneer were extremely helpful.Their team was professional and went above and beyond, making this the best car purchase experience I've ever had.I used to think buying a car would take a long time, but not at AutoNation. Volvo and team addressed our issues:1. Parking Sensor2. Find Gas pop-up wouldn t clear.3. All audio went silent.The last one, audio silence, did reoccur, and I recorded a video as evidence, but willing to give it more time and/or reoccurrence before I return.Team Member who initially greeted and addressed us was polite and got our work order ticket in the queue/placed on the windshield.Team Member Dan Nguyen was also top notch addressing our questions and concerns, and he communicated with us throughout the process.Big thanks to the Volvo Team.

What I like about Autonation Volvo is the punctuality and the effort to try and address the customer s needs.I had an appointment and the service advisor Jamie contacted me before hand saying that they were severely backlogged in the holiday season and if it would be possible to reschedule the appointment. I needed to get it serviced the same day, so I got the vehicle in. Smooth process as usual and the vehicle was ready 1 day before the promised date!!! Awesome experience as usual!!! No unnecessary services recommended at all!!!

Took the car for a routine maintenance. We were told it would take 2 hours, so my husband decided to wait there.When the car was ready and my husband was about to leave, he walked around the car and found a bump on the right front side. They were not planning on saying that they hit the car!!!!When my husband told them about it they were not surprised and said that they will fix it and that it will take them a week!!!We asked for a loaner car and received a 5 seater while our car is a 7 seater.The audacity not to mention that they hit our car and wait to see if we notice it is just unbelievable.Sorry, but you definitely lost a customer.

My worst experience unfolded during my scheduled appointment at 10. Initially told it would take 4 hours, I waited patiently with my one year old. As the clock approached 2:30, I discovered, to my disbelief, that my car had not even been touched. I approached the staff to address the situation, and their response was surprisingly nonchalant. They casually explained that the technician wasn't available earlier, and now it would only take an additional hour. This, despite the fact that in the morning, I was clearly informed that the process would be lengthy, requiring 4 hours. The shock peaked when, at 3:00, they handed me my car keys, claiming it was all done. I couldn't comprehend how, in just half an hour, they supposedly accomplished tasks that were initially estimated to consume 4 hours. To add to the disbelief, upon inspecting my car, it appeared as if it hadn't undergone any servicing at all.My advice: avoid wasting time at AutoNation.

We got a fantastic deal for our 2024 Volvo XC90 Recharge. Laura was a great sales associate, walked us through the entire process, and worked very closely from when we first connected through the test drive to the eventual purchase of the car. Felix, the manager, was very helpful and gave us a very attractive deal for Black Friday, and Moneer was super helpful and patient in wrapping up the sales aspect. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Autonation Volvo Cars in San Jose, and I must say, the experience was outstanding. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by a friendly staff. I had to bring my car to Auto Nation Volvo in San Jose for the second time since I moved from AZ.The first visit was for the annual maintenance check, and the second visit was for a windshield replacement. I had Emir Krajnic as an advisor both times, and I greatly appreciate how proactive he was from the time I dropped off the car all the way to handing back the key.To me, what is more important than the brand of the car is the people who serve the brand during my ownership of any car. The salesman I worked with, Samer Alshaar, did an outstanding job with the overall process. Being new to Volvo, he was able to educated me on the company, the vehicle I was looking to possibly lease, and why become a Volvo customer. After the paperwork was signed and financing complete, he did an amazing job at educating me on all of the bells and whistles on the vehicle and the important safety features that Volvo is known for. I am about 2 plus weeks into having my new 2022 XC60 FWD INSCRIPTION and loving it!

They do great work in my Volvo, but the prices seem high for what you get. There are also often long delays (weeks) in getting Volvo parts from around the world - but at least they set me up with a nice loaner vehicle.
