AAA reached out to them on my behalf. Unfortunately, i don't remember the dispatcher's name. She was very friendly and kind. It was a super busy Friday night. I was 45 minutes from home. She advised ETA was a couple of hrs, which was fine as i felt safe at the time, and was in a neighborhood with lots of families around, checking out a few houses decorated for Halloween. I received text updates but she knew i was alone and locked out of my car, which had my wallet and jacket in it. She regularly called and checked in on my safety updated me on an ETA. When she called later, to tell me it was going to be at least another 50 min., they had to send the 2nd driver to help the 1st one. I later found out that the 101 had been shut down due to a bad accident. i let her know there weren't a lot of people out any longer and folks were going inside and turing off their outside lights. She was able to get a driver there in 20 mins. He was very nice, apologized for the delay, and quickly got me into my car. I went to tip him and he refused several times. I wished him a safe rest of the night and thanked him. I highly recommend this tow company. I know the driver was stressed but he was still professional and kind. The dispatcher was communicative the entire time and made sure i was okay after the driver left. If ever you need help, these are the type if people you want on the other line. These are the sort of people who can help calm your nerves and let you know they genuinely care for your safety.

I had to go through AAA after my car died and was assisted by Alongi to get the battery checked. Being unable to start the car and check the issue they had to call in another person to tow the truck which is where I experienced some of the worst service ever. Ronaldo (may be spelled indifferently) showed up and was completely unprofessional. First, he was angry that I was unable to answer some questions I had no idea about the vehicle which then he irritatingly said never mind and told me to turn and lock the wheel which I also didn t know how to do. When he started to drive away he realized I didn t do it correctly so he did it himself like he should have the first time. As the address was set to an auto shop, I asked him what to do with the keys to which he replied annoyed, idk what did they tell you? . I went over to speak to my partner and before I could give him the keys, he DROVE AWAY. Unfortunately, the story gets worse. When I had to inconveniently drive to the auto shop the next day to give the shop manager the keys, he informed me that Ronaldo dropped the car off to the shop and asked the manager what he wanted him to do with the keys (he didn t have them) and said he would make a quick phone call which is last time the manager saw him because he drove away again with zero information!!! He left the shop and the shop manager had to call multiple different towing companies just to try and find out what company Ronaldo worked for. Safe to say if I have any car issues I will never be doing it with Alongi Towing ever again. The unprofessionalism shown by Ronaldo to not only me but the shop manager as well is completely unacceptable and leaving me with the keys and the manager with zero answers is something I wouldn t wish upon anyone. Not only did he not help the situation but he made the whole experience 100x worse with his disrespectful attitude and incompetence in dealing with this issue.

This company s tow truck driver did body damage to the side view mirror of my car. Their driver admitted it and apologized, gave my son his card and told him what we needed to do to file a claim. When I filed a claim Jake Lassy, who said he was in charge at Alongi said that it didn t happen and was belittling and intimidating because I didn t know the technical tow truck terms. I may not be an expert on tow trucks but even I know that tree scratches don t cause paint to get knocked off. AAA chose to honor my long relationship with them and made a good faith settlement with me. If you call AAA, be sure to check yelp and Google ratings before you accept a tow because your transaction is between you and the towing company and not AAA. There s a good reason this company gets bad reviews. I am not the first person to report experiences that were unprofessional and dishonest.Service: Car towing

Called AAA for roadside battery service, was given an ETA of 60 minutes. After 60 minutes they estimated another 60 minutes, THEN AFTER THAT another 60 minutes when I called to check on the status. A total of 3 hours until the truck arrived. In the end I called my friend to go to AutoZone and buy/delivery a new battery to me before their truck arrived. Unreliable and poor communication.

My TDI golf would not start, battery was okay and starter motor worked fine. Car was given fuel pressure code so called for AAA tow to take to dealer but the driver Juan got my car to start and then explained about vapor lock, why it happens and what to try if it happens again. I didn't need a tow after all and Both Juan and Ulisses were professionals. Thanks

Ricardo really saved the day, coming within 15 minutes of my claim with AAA being started (they quoted me an hour, so it was a pleasant surprise!) He was very polite, changed my flat super fast, made me feel confident I'd make it home on my spare and smiled the whole time. Who expects that from their tow truck guy?? Thank you Ricardo & Alongi Brothers! And yes, even he was impressed with my flat Sigh ...

Daniel and his trainee were the best! Quoted 3 hours by AAA and they arrived in 30 minutes. Good humor and very knowledgeable. Even helped me out with a phone charger! They got us off the road and to a safe location. The next day we needed a flatbed to tow to a tire shop. Again Julio there within 30 minutes! This made the best of a bad situation. Was about to go to work but my vehicle wouldn't start! So I called AAA and Cristian showed up within a hr.He suggested I check if it's still under warranty, which I would have but I was in a hurry Also, he had a battery already to go.So he replaced the battery and I appreciate that I could view the status of my battery on my phone!He scanned my battery and my vehicles info and he sent the report to my phone! Awesome tech. Also, I appreciate his customer service work ethic!!!!

Gabriel is extremely respectful and kind. He did a great job towing my car and was very knowledgeable about the car being towed. I could also tell that Gabriel took care in which route to take, avoiding the rougher roads in the city. Tina in dispatch was also great to work with. AAA wasn't listening to the issue and initially ordered the wrong truck but Tina worked with me to get the right truck sent the first time. Highly recommend these guys overall.

The BEST Flatbed Tow Truck Driver I have ever experienced and amazing service. The tow truck caused electronic damage to my vehicle. The ECUs showed lots of suspect codes, which cost $245 to diagnose. The technician said the codes must have been caused by the tow. Worst tow truck experience I've ever had.

This Towing Company notified me via text not only by the dispatcher but by the Driver for AAA . I was Soo upset that someone stole my info. But thanks to Karen n the Tow Driver whom by the way prevented FRAUD. Karen keep me informed that they follow protocols in place but also implemented a contact # to dispatch. As a AAA Member I can t express my gratitude

Usually pretty helpful during normal business hours but whoever is working the weekend shift is unprofessional not only did they not wait for me while I was running from down the block yelling for them to wait because i had to use the restroom after waiting hours for my car to be towed. The time switched from them being 80 minutes out to at my car with no notice. They refused to come back, resulting in me having to pay out of pocket for my tow when I have AAA!!!definitely going to tell AAA to not put me on their list anymore when they act this petty.

Very curious even helped cart my property. Lost my car due to expired tags so it was my own fault. They did what their job was can't be mad at them. They get a call and they go get it. It's not like they're out there scoping out people to harass and take hold of their vehicles. I'm not mad at you alongi bro. Thanks for being helpful and respectful. Didn't make it hard for me to get my stuff. So thank you.

Grateful for the excellent and speedy service provided via AAA assistance. Max and Sam arrived promptly around midnight to potentially tow my car from an airport parking lot. Luckily that was not necessary. They jump-started my battery and I was able to drive home safely after a long flight. My sincere recommendations.

The tow driver arrived quickly within 10 min of my call with AAA. He even brought to my attention that the tire shop AAA referred me to was actually an auto repair shop 30 min away. He suggested a good tire shop that was close by. He also treated me with kindness and patience when I was still shaken by the scary tire blowout in the middle of the freeway.Service: Car towing

Over the past week, I've had to call AAA three times. Alongi Bros showed up for all three calls and I had the pleasure of working with 4 of their employees. I wish that I remembered all of their names (today was Joshua) so that I could thank them properly. What stood out the most for me was just how respectful, personable, and professional each of them were. They each arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem, and then immediately acted to solve the problem. Unfortunately, AAA did not send me the follow up surveys to fill out so I came here in hopes of sharing my gratitude and positive experiences with Alongi Bros. I would not hesitate to recommend them.Service: Car towing

It was a super busy day and they got to me 5:45 so I'm sure he was already exhausted, but he was so friendly and helpful and actually managed to get me on my way without needing a tow! He made a stressful day so much less stressful for me and his cheerful demeanor really helped perk me back up. Though I hope to avoid needing a tow again, I wouldn't hesitate to call them if I do!!!

AAA called this company because my tire blew up. The guy who showed up with the tow truck looked a little sloppy on hooking up my car, so I asked him if the car would be ok. He said yes. Then I decided to take some pictures (for insurance claim which I had to file). The guy became hostile and offensive. Pushed my car off his truck, started threatening me, tried to start a physical fight (yes, literally!), used racial slurs. Police got involved. I didn't want him to touch my car anymore, so another company came and towed me (great guys - friendly, professional - F&M Towing). I filed a complaint with AAA, hope they would find another provider in San Jose area. Stay away from this company!Service: Car towing

I would have given them 0 stars if there was an option to do so. Please do not buy a car battery from them. We had to replace our car battery in Jan 2020. Our insurer was AAA insurance. When we called customer service for roadside assistance, they sent a person to help us who was from Alongi brothers. He said our battery wasn't doing good and it was needed to be replaced. We had no other option but to buy it from him. We trusted them and bought a battery from him. We had no issues with the battery for the next few months. But, just a couple of months before, the battery wasn't charging properly and we had to jumpstart our car as it wouldn't start. Unfortunately, we did not have a warranty paper that was given to us when we bought a battery. We called AAA insurance multiple times and they kept pointing their finger at the Alongi brothers for the soft copy of the warranty paper. We are living in the 21st century where everything is supposed to be digital and people hardly rely on hard copies and still, these guys were not able to retrieve our warranty paper. We called the Alongi brothers multiple times but THEY DID NOT help us at all! Every time we would leave a voicemail for their manager and HE WOULD NEVER GET BACK. If your insurance company is AAA or Alongi brothers supporting your insurance company, please never buy a battery from them!Service: Battery service

My battery died & I couldn't get my hood open. The first guy AAA sent to me couldn't get my hood open either so he made arrangements for my car to be towed to my home. Turns out the guy who towed my car figured out how to get my hood open. That really helped me out big time. I would like to thank Connor for being such an outstanding driver! Very cool & kind! There s still good ppl out there. Make sure you ask for Connor when you hit these guys' up! I am beyond grateful for the help.Services: Car towing, Battery

AAA Roadside assistance for battery person who showed up was not only rude and careless but also the dispatcher on call kept cutting me off and placing me on hold mid-sentence without even allowing me to state what happened and why I'm calling. I originally asked the person who showed up to call a manager for further assistance with a battery issue. Instead, he refused and walked away ignoring me. He later texted her feeded that she repeated back to me then placing me on hold again before I could reply. Very disappointed. I've used this same company in San Jose about 6 times now over the past 5 years and used to receive great and friendly customer service.Issue: I called this company prior to ask if they had the correct battery for my car prior to sending someone out. The representative checked the system and inventory then told me YES. I expressed that this would be the third time someone came out to me since the other company had ran out of inventory.However, upon arrival --it was not the case. I still did not get anything installed. Even though they have the exact battery model that's been installed in my car and working for the last 6 years, they are refusing to install it because an APP tells them that the 'Kia Forte 5 ' takes a different battery, however if put under the 'Kia Forte ' would allow them to install it but that extra '5' part that they picked up from the VIN is why they won't. Even if I have the same model they have currently installed in my vehicle, which lasted me 6 years. As I was on the phone with the Manager, the Battery delivery person just left. So, here I am, stuck without a battery and therefore operating car.Services: Battery service, Battery

Louie from Alongi Bros. saved me HOURS of time today. My car started making a strange noise as I was driving last night (in the pouring rain) and I was ready to have it towed to my service shop in Mountain View (I live in San Jose), but when Louie showed up he instantly knew what was wrong with it (mudflap in wheel well had changed positions and was scraping against tire) and fixed it. He was patient and allowed me to drive around the block to make sure the problem was solved. He arrived quickly and acted very professionally the entire time. I was very impressed with the quality of service I received from Alongi Bros.!

They just saved me! My car wouldn't start this morning, and I was in a panic. I called AAA to get a tow to the shop, but Alongi Bros was able to replace the battery in my garage, saving me figuring out logistics with my little one. The technician they sent, Osvaldo, was super helpful and polite, and let my daughter watch everything he did. I can't say enough about how great this experience was.

When my car wouldn't start AAA sent a guy from Alongi Bros. He was at my location in 15 minutes, got the car going and advised me where I could go to have the battery fully charged. Friendly and great service. Thank you! (I think the guy's name was Raoud? Or something like that)

They were sent to us by AAA for a tow. The driver said they couldn't tow the truck with dirt bikes in the back for "insurance reasons" through AAA, but could do it privately for no problem - a $600 tow. We started to take the dirt bikes out of the truck so they could tow it, at which point they said they wouldn't tow us at all. Left us stranded and we had to get a ride from someone and leave the truck overnight. Driver showed up in a bad mood and wasn't willing to help us out or reach a compromise at all. Would not recommend them to anyone and very surprised that AAA uses them if they're willing to just leave customers without help.Services: Special vehicle towing, Car towing
