This one really hurts to review because it's a local business. Brought my vehicle here to get a brake and light inspection passed the lights of course because I can easily prove that one on spot but the tech comes out with a worn down uncalibrated tool. For a safety inspection I would think a tool for such an important safe part would have a calibration certificate but no certification tag was on such inspection tool. Easy 150$ for the shop held my keys hostage unless I paid of course I can't prove my new rotors on sight. And they know your relying on this certification so you can drive your vehicle legally. Currently working on proving my case p.s. calibrated tool showed 29.8mm literally 1 hour after this high tech auto care inc failed it for brake inspection saying my rotors were below minimum at 26.9 with a failed uncertified uncalibrated tool. Which I've used in my career for 20 years as a machinist. Just drive by there's a reason they're not getting foreign cars business lately. I should have stayed and kept an eye on my vehicle inspection.

Taking advantage of their power with the inspection 150 for 1st inspection and when they don't pass you Don't worry you can pay 75$ for a reinspection. I knew my vehicle would pass inspection but had to find a place that performs the inspection...how do I know it will pass? Well all my lights work properly and the equipment housing all is new and properly installed. Brakes I knew there could be an issue or some room for error on the shops behalf you know faulty uncalibrated tools they use for inspections. So I made sure to install new rotors and brake pads before making the appointment for inspection. The tech says my rotors are under minimum requirement... wait what? Explain to me how this is possible? Only drove 10 miles to the shop after the brakes were done. Here's the problem they're the only place in sanjacinto that does these inspections for the dmv system. So I of course have to go out of my way to get all the proof together to prove to this shop that they are shady and Should have been able to pass me with no worries. instead they thought they were going to get one over on me. Calipers for safety inspections should have a stamped certification of quality calibration. They're tools do not. Be very Cautious if you Choose to Utilize this place...

This place is very Sus, they over charged my Grandma and insulted my grandpa who's a pastor. Be careful the Technicians here for inspections and repairs are only trying to make money on you not help you get cleared. Know what's up with your vehicle before considering this place or you will get worked.

STAY AWAY!!! This place is the worst shop I've been too. Had a battery issue so had them do a basic car inspection. Took them 2 MONTHS!!! I would call weekly for an update and was given an excuse each time. "Tech didn't update notes" "Tech is on lunch and no notes on vehicle" "Car is running but still inspecting it" Excuse after excuse. When 2 months were about to hit from time I dropped it off, then they try to hit me a laundry list of repairs needed. They said it would be over $4,000 but could be more. Could be? How do you not know how much parts and labor would run? I will definitely be getting a 2nd opinion. Take my advice, PLEASE, stay away from these scammers and lazy workers. They have no business calling this establishment a business.

They wanted 140 to change my headlights bulbs on a 06 is250 really??? After telling me it was just my side markers that were out, now that my led high beam its not aproved? Started as 150 plus two times I came back for 75 each im just done with this shop taking my money il just go somewhere else where they re honest, not coming back !!!! For sure

I m currently in a scuffle with this shop on their wishy-washy charges. I m not disputing if they do bad work or not because I still haven t recovered my vehicle from them so honestly I don t know yet if their actual WORK on the vehicle is good. It could be GREAT I just don t know that part yet. However I am sharing my experience with them in regards to my charges. We are being told varying amounts. What started as $400 became $600 to now $1000 roughly. Their lack of communication on their part is something they are not taking accountability for and that is very unprofessional. I will come back and attach all my documentation, and emails a little later as there is a whole entire story to this. I am hoping that they hold themselves accountable to their mistake and make it right but speaking to Ricardo he did not budge or admit to any of his mistakes AT ALL. I see all these other reviews of being overcharged by them! I should have done my due diligence and checked reviews before I took my vehicle there.

"Good work ain't cheap, and Cheap work ain't good"....I've done business here a few times now.They absolutely know how to satisfy customers... they will work with you every step of the way. I had issues with my truck, Juanita reached out to me and explained the problem. With a little communication and a handful of texts, everything was resolved..!I'd definitely recommend giving this shop a try. They don't just "fix cars" they truly care about customer service and they will do what they can for you..!Go check them out... :)

I needed a state inspection of my car to restructure my car title. They were very professional, they had me in and out quickly, with the correct documentation put in order. If you need a dmv inspection they are the only STAR inspection station in the Hemet/San Jacinto area that are certified for both SMOG and BREAK and LIGHTS inspection/certification. As of this posting cost of L&B inspection is a total of $150.00 ($75 each). I highly recommend them.

Very quick and friendly service at a very fair price. Helped me get my new car inspected so I could register for a salvage title. One stop shop for both brake and light check and smog at same time.

Clean, friendly, quick service. Had 2 out of state vehicles smogged for the first time, whole process took about 35 mins from when we pulled up to when we left. Will definitely go back.

I needed my air conditioning fixed. I was surprised to learn there were a couple of other issues that needed to be addressed so that once the air conditioning was fixed these two other problems would not create functioning of the air conditioner repair. It s never a good idea to put a band aid on a cancer. You have to take care of all that effect a positive outcome. That s what they do at High Tech Auto. I highly recommend them.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Air conditioning

My 2000 I 30 Infinity would stop when you put it in park, when I got it back they over charged me and the car still cut off, I found the sensor cheaper and just ask for my money back, No Refunds??? Took another day off work went back up there , the guy said it wont cut off, but now a check engine light is on???? I am not happy!!!!

I recommend this place 100% for all car fixes Ricardo the mechanic really cared about my vehicle issues Its always worth the 2 hours drive I have to make just to get my vehicle fixed they are profesional and cost friendly! Come here if you want to get ripped off! Oscar is a cool guy but the owner Ricardo wants to rip you off. He thinks because he took off 2 rims and move a couple clips he can charge you $105 for headlight bulb adjustment plus $110 for certification and he takes along time such as doing something else instead of just focusing on one car while a paying customer such as myself is waiting. If I can do no stars I would!

I went to the gas station some get some gas. In get home, all of the gas is gushing from somewhere under my car. A Friend recommended High Tech. I am upset when I call. A friendly woman answers the phone. She sense my mood and helps me calm down. I have the car towed over to them. To make a long story short... My car gets towed and repaired for under $100. No lies or stories about what I don't need. Thank You

High Tech Auto Care Inc is a great automotive shop in the Hemet/San Jacinto area. Ricardo & Davina are good people and they really helped me repair my vehicle. Hi Tech is a good auto shop where you can trust the mechanics to do a great job. If you take your car here this people will try to steal your money by overcharging you and by trying to make you do repairs in your car that are not needed. Not very honest. Example: A/C problem that may only need to change the compressor they will tell you need to change other staff that is not needed just to make more profit. Esta gente son ladrones porque te cobran caro y quieren hacer reparaciones que no necesitas.

This place tried to give outrageous prices, even the dealership was cheaper. Car had a nasty smell on the inside after staying a couple days there. Dirty, greasy hand prints left all over the front fender and hood.

I have taken my car to this location since before they took over the business. They made it better and I would not take my car anywhere else. Neither would my sister and a friend.

This place is a rip off. They overcharged me for brakes. They failed to completely inspect my car. What's sad is they work for aaa and are rude and liers. Never again.

Service was ok, but way too over priced couldn't even fix my A.C. right the first time had to come back the second time an complaint regarding the issue the next day
