Maybe the most incompetent staff and worst customer service experience of my life.See the attached pictures. I have a 2014 BMW x3 and ordered 4 new tires. This is how they returned the car to me after getting new tires mounted and an alignment. The brand new tires are filthy. My rims are filthy, much dirtier than when I dropped the car off. They didn't put any covers over the seat or carpet. Zero effort.I made an appointment at 9am and selected the option to wait onsite until they it was complete. Apparently they don't honor scheduled appointments and said to come back 2-3pm.Around 1pm Steve called to say they couldn't find the "key" for the wheel lock. He said I would need to go to a dealership to get one....I'll leave out all of their communication issues but Steve and Christina need to learn how to work together. I received multiple calls since they were not on the same page.So I called BMW of SF and told them my situation. They said they were full but to bring it in anyway. On my way to pick up, I called my mechanic at Richardson Automotive and told him.He laughed and said he had a key. He was not sure why Wheel Works doesn't have one when they specialize in wheels.......I rescheduled all of my afternoon meetings and picked up my X3 from Wheel Works to bring to my mechanic. When I got to Richardson Automotive, my mechanic found the key in the trunk compartment immediately. In less than 10 seconds!I drove back to Wheel Works and told them it was there the entire time. If you watch a YouTube video it is exactly where the video says. Steve did not apologize. I had to ask him when it would be done. He said close to 5pm.I asked for discount when I picked up the car due to their incredible incompetence.Steve then blamed my wife for not answering their phone call. My wife is a teacher and I gave them my phone number in the AM when I dropped the car off. Another communication breakdown on their part.Steve is a complete moron and rude on top of it.

Employees were courteous and did well at managing expectations. I would have liked a bit more notice regarding the recommendation that I replace two tires and some more information on options because the price was higher than I was prepared for but I understand they were trying to get the work done by the end of a busy day. I appreciate that they got the work done by close of business so that I could make part of my shift that night.

Other than the slight wait at drop off and pick up - I was extremely impressed. It didn't translate straight away, but at pick up I was extremely impressed with the sales associate knowledge and appreciation of cars. I enjoyed the information shared with me, and what I overheard (other customer conversations) the recommendations were extremely accurate and money saving. I also appreciate how well the shop folk did their job, I witnessed some of their work and it was more akin to a professional / specialized shop.

I have always had a good experience @ Wheel Works. I originally chose Wheel Works on Franklin because it is walking distance from my apartment but I continue to go there because of the service. They are very busy so sometimes it takes a while to complete the service but I have never had a problem with the quality of the work performed. The staff is polite, listens to any issues I may have with my car and is clear with any explanations.

Scheduling an appointment on-line was easy. The gentlemen working at the desk are always so kind and helpful. Steve helped me this time around, and he is always so pleasant to work with.

I came to ask about an oil change for my car and there were two Chinese people. And one American man I couldn't see their names but they answered no and they laughed. I think this is not professional. I felt very bad. I don't recommend it. The owner should know that he doesn't have the right people. in your business soo sad unprofessional no recommend

Staff (I worked with Steve) was super helpful and you could tell everyone worked so hard and cared a lot about what they were doing and making things work for their customers. I felt taken care of which was above and beyond and I appreciated everything the team did to help - I can tell that s just how they run things there and it stood out. Evidence of lots of experience and great customer service. I will definitely be back.

I was referred to Wheel Works by a friend, and I have been pleased from the first visit, to getting a new set of tires, and now with ongoing oil services. The staff are always very friendly and in good spirits.

This Wheel Works is open real early on a Saturday morning at 7am. I booked my truck in for a wheel alignment service early that morning. They wheel alignment service was satisfactory, but they try to upsell you on everything. The wheel alignment was completed in about 2hrs, but I didn t receive a phone call from the service advisor. After 3 hours I got fed up and walked back to check in on them. They told me my truck was already done and they had called me. Well not true. I showed them my calls received on my phone nada! They didn t apologize and don t care. There s NO excuses for not contacting the customer in a timely manner when their vehicle is ready.Perhaps upgrade your system to send a text message to notify your customers if you can t get through with a call.I won t be visiting this Wheel Works on Franklin again!

I used to rely on Wheel Works any time I had tire issues, and referred anybody having similar issues to do the same. I always could rely on them for a fair and honest price, and that the car would be ready when they said it would be. I booked an appointment on-line earlier this week. I chose the tires I wanted and got a quote, and I opted for the option to wait an hour while my tires were being replaced, vs the option to leave it for the dayI got there at 12:50 for my 1:00 appointment. Waited about 20 minutes for somebody to become available. When somebody was finally available, he said the car would be ready around 6:30. I said that I booked the option to wait for it for an hour, because I don't live in the city and didn't have 5 1/2 hours to wait, and it was pouring rain outside. He said, that's just the way it is online. I was frustrated, but really had planned to have this done, so I just decided to move forward. Then he hands me the contract to sign and it's $100 more than the quoted price, with different tires and several different add ons. I showed him the quote that I got and he just said, this was the plan that he chose for me. I proceeded to say that I booked an hour appoinment, for approximately $480, but now he's telling me it's going to be close to $600 for nearly 6 hours. So, I just said forget it. I won't be back, as it seems like Wheel Works, or at least this location, has changed it ways of doing business.

My car got a nail and was going flat. Kai and Cristina helped me. My tire was checked, fixed, and ready in a few hours. The service was great and the time estimation was accurate. Folks are really great here.Thank you team at wheel works!

The San Francisco shop is great and the salesperson was magnificent. Management at the ownership headquarters is an abomination. After a long phone call with all details worked out, no information was passed to the San Francisco shop. None. The appointment was useless. The shop was full FULL and didn't have the requested tires. Incompetent head office management.

Great service as always. I've been a customer for 10 years and I feel confident that when I bring my car there I'm not going to get ripped off. Professional and thorough should be their motto.

They do very good work, but are very busy because of it. 4 stars isn't fair, but 4 hours for alignment and tire rotation is a long wait. I bring a lawn chair recliner and do email while waiting. At least I get something done with the time.

Steve provided exceptional support regarding the issue with my four tires over the phone, maintaining open communication for two days until I could have my car towed. His genuine concern made me feel valued, and as a result, Wheel Works has become my preferred destination for oil changes, tires, and all my automotive needs moving forward.

I recently visited Wheel Works to replace a tire with a nail in it and I was pleasantly surprised by the level of service I received. The staff were friendly and professional, and they were able to replace my tire in a very short amount of time for as busy as they were.I would have given 5 stars if they would have had a wider selection of tires. The seem to sell only Bridgestone and Firestone tires.Overall, I was extremely impressed with the service I received. The staff was friendly and the tire replacement was done quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone in need of tire replacement or other tire-related services.

Walked in Saturday to make an appointment. Got one for next day at 9am. Dropped off car at 9am for wheel alignment, got the call at 11am it was finished. Told car needed adjustment and car is now in specifications. Glad I previously bought the lifetime wheel alignment.

Excellent customer service and prices. Chu, Steve, Kai and the others are always professional and friendly. They also stand behind their service 100% and have great deals on lifetime alignments, rotations, etc. Yes, they get busy so sometimes there's a wait.Highly recommend!

Unethical sales tactics- Will try to get an unnecessary sale out of you if they think you don t know anything.Went in with a flat tire; just wanted it repaired. Associate told me he can t fix the tire because my tires are worn and I shouldn t patch a worn tire. Tried to sell me 4 new tires and insisted multiple times they were having a sale. Asked him to prove it and he hands me a measurer and tells me to check myself. I told him that was unnecessary today and just switched out and used my spare (he also told me I only have an emergency spare-I have a jeep with a full-and that I shouldn t leave as it wasn t good for the car) to get to another shop.Measured my tread and also had another shop check after, we both agreed tires have some wear left in them (5/32 ) and replacement was not urgent. If you are looking for trustworthy service recommendations, don t go here.

Bad service and trying to rip you off with high price. I got a flat title and called them the whole day and every time they say there s no space and I have to come late. Finally tolled my car to them around 6:30pm. They said they can t fix it because it s 6 year old and too old, I need to replace all four of my tires even the other 3 not showing any issues. They gave me $900 quote to replace four tires and reluctant to give quote just to replace the flat one. I searched online and it only cost &400-700 with many tire options you can choose from at other times places like Costco. If I knew I would toll my car to a tire place to replace one timer or all four, would save much more time and hassle. Plus the people are grumpy and rude, another reason to avoid this place.

We ve gone to wheel works for the last 2 sets of tires on each of our cars, 2017 Volvo xc90 and our 2018 bmw i3 and just had enough of their horrible customer service and stepping into the Geary location was a huge breath of fresh air, the staff was genuine, helpful, knowledgeable, I d refer everyone to them!

My appointment was scheduled for 2pm. Unbeknownst to me when the appointment was made, I'm talking to someone at a call center. Arrive at 1:50pm. I was told they were running behind. At 4:06pm I'm inquiring about how long will be before my vehicle is ready. Unbeknownst to me I'm talking to the manager. The guy who checked me comes to the counter and says he'll find out how much longer. He tells me 90 minutes. Of course I asked why is this taking so long when all I'm getting is new tires. He sarcastically says he told me they were running behind. 5:30pm and my car is still not ready. I asked to speak with the manager who all this time has seen me inquire about my car and has saw me waiting most of the afternoon. When I express my frustration he then goes and tells his people to start working on my car. They started putting on my tires at 5:40pm and was done by 6pm. I waited 4 hours for a 20 minute service while regular customers came in off the street and were serviced right away.

Great, honest service. These guys will get what you need done. Whether it's patching a flat or a whole new set. Chu and his crew have been operating out of this location for decades. Fair price and reliable services on oil change, brakes, batteries and other smaller jobs.

I have been bringing my cars here over the years and they usually do a great job. I can get my car in and out the same day. The service is always friendly and the cost is reasonable. A few times, the cost seemed on the high side. But, they do a good job.Services: Tires, Wheel alignmentServices: Tires, Wheel alignment

They did a great job on my tire's. But when I got my car back there was damage to my door panel and its hard to lock my door, and I'm going through issues with their claim department and its irritating they have to go through this.
