Horrible owner and service, called twice to ask if they re open for a tire change and if we could come in that same day, said yes and said it s no problem. I had to call a tow truck to bring the car from one location to here and when I got there, there was 1. No where for the tow truck to leave the car in the first place and 2. Now telling us he can t fix the tire because the mechanic isn t here. Why was that not clarified over both phone calls and why tell me to come when you re telling me I can t even leave the car there? The owner told me he can fetch or fix the tire only, one or the other, I m not sure, I told him I already have a spare in my trunk, and went back and forth over no fix and fetch . I was so confused but ultimately told me there was nothing he could do and I called a tow truck all the way over there for no reason despite him insisting twice over the phone that I can come get tires fixed that day. At the end of our interaction he scoffed and brushed my mother and I off and walked away from us. So rude, out tow truck driver was nice enough to take our car to a mechanic on Cesar Chavez St, who were a lot nicer and ended up fixing more issues we didn t realize the car had, even though they were closing in 30 mins. Never coming to West Portal Auto ever again

I had a flat, AAA filled the tire and told me to go to a tire shop. I stopped here on the way home. The tire already was already flat again by the time I got there. Ristan (I think that was his name) was fantastic. I thought I would need my tire replaced, but he found the sharp object that had punctured the tire, removed it, and repaired the tire, all within 15 minutes. Saved me tons of money and was super nice as well. 5 stars, will return.Service: Tires

Beacon (new name, used to be Union76) I called first, they said 'come on in, no appointment needed, first come, first serve' ... I arrived to quick & friendly customer service for my tire repair.

Gas is always cheaper than across the street.I get my car maintenance work here all the time. Ask for Ken Mui, the owner, who will give you great service.
