Wonderful local glass repair shop! They helped me very quickly, the same day, after two different break-ins. The work was done professionally and within 1.5 hours both times. I was very very impressed!

I was hopeful of this place but unfortunately I had a TERRIBLE experience with the work. I had my windshield replace and I paid extra for rust removal. They insured me that with rust removal i would prevent any further damage. Sadly after my windshield was replaced I had to go in FOUR more times because of the cheap glue or sealant they used, the seal/rubber lining KEPT falling off and flapping around dangerously. I also hear wind coming in my car. Sadly, when rainy season came the windshield started to leak. During one HEAVY HEAVY rain session, my entire car flooded and damaged my entire electronics in the car.How many times do you have to go back into fix an issue?BEWARE OF THIS SHOP.

Beware this shop does not do professional work and they are dishonest. I went to TLC Glass for a replacement window after my back window was shattered. The first window they installed was an OEM Subaru Window for $317. After leaving the shop, I noticed scratches on the replaced window and contacted the shop. The woman I spoke to never apologized and only told me that the window they installed was the only window in the shop and they would need to order a replacement. The way she responded leaves me to believe that they knew it was scratched and didn t bother mentioning it to me.The next replacement window was a cheap aftermarket window made by Fuyao. Communication was poor and they never mentioned this after the first window being OEM. After installation, I inspected the glass for any scratches and didn t see any. I did notice a slight difference in the tint color from the OEM window. A few days after, I looked at the window and caught it from the side and noticed a wavy/ripple distortion across the entire window not noticeable when looking directly at it. From what I can find on the internet, these are not normal and indicative of defective glass from the factory. It s upsetting that TLC doesn t inspect their glass before installation and maintain a quality standard for its customers. After the hours I wasted leaving my car at TLC and not once by twice leaving with a defective window, I m done with them for good. You get what you pay for. I paid for my education and will go to the dealership for a professional replacement and install. I highly recommend you avoid this shop and go somewhere else or you risk having the same experience I did.

My passenger rear triangle got busted and TLC was able to replace within hours. We needed authorization from Geico to install OEM glass because there were no aftermarket replacements. Geico s authorization could be lengthy and timely so I took initiative to expedite the process by calling Geico. Over the phone, Geico guaranteed that the OEM part was covered under my insurance. My glass was repaired so quickly that Geico s online system wasn t updated to reflect the authorization at the time my vehicle was ready for pick up. TLC suggested I pay the full cost upfront and Geico will reimburse me later. Although a bit skeptical, the reimbursement process was super simple. After I submitted a picture of my invoice to Geico, I was fully reimbursed (minus my deductible) within MINUTES of filling out my reimbursement form. The repair process was quick and easy with TLC. They even cleaned out the broken glass from the rear seat and cleared the trash that was shrewn all over the front passenger floor. From my experience, I would highly recommend TLC Glass.

They replaced my glass in the same day but they charged me $50 to clean up the glass on top of labor and they made me pay in full, even though it was covered under insurance. not very happy with it. I think they very shady.. don t make the same mistake I did. Pay only your deductible or walk away.

Shady insurance billing practices. I needed a window replacement and Geico recommended TLC as an affiliate. But TLC told me that it was easier to get the receipt and bill Geico myself rather than for TLC to bill them directly. Which should have been a red flag. TLC charged me $310 for a rear window replacement and I sent the receipt to Geico, assuming my $200 comprehensive deductible would cover the last hundred. Well, Geico wouldn t give me any reimbursement. Ended up having to be on the phone with Geico for hours and eventually talk to a manager to find out that TLC didn t follow the procedure with itemizing the receipt.Once geico got the itemization, apparently TLC also overcharged for everything, including a $60+ cleaning fee for vacuuming glass off the backseat? And a labor charge above the geico coverage limit. Geico said that with the safelite glass company, this repair would have costed me $160, basically half of what I was charged. I ended up getting only $38 back from geico. While I consider this both Geico s and TLC s fault, I can t imagine TLC didn t consciously know what they were doing. I can t have been their first customer going through Geico. I don t know how it works behind the scenes, but not billing insurance directly seems like a shady and deceptive way to overcharge their customers. I m pretty sure when TLC said it would be easier for them, it meant they can charge more and make more money. Also, as a geico affiliate, how could they not know that they have to itemize their receipts? And why would they recommend a customer do the billing work for them? To save themselves time and be able to charge more, and then have their customers find out later it s not covered? The extra star was that the service was day-of and done quickly and everything was good while being there. But their overcharging and insurance billing tactics totally ruined it for me.
