As a customer of Tony s, I was shocked to see the three bad reviews below from IsKh, Khayrull and Islom Khalmurodov. So, I called Tony and he gave the following explanation. But first it s important to know all three negative reviews are from the same person. So, he is being dishonest and trying to besmirch the reputation of a legitimate, honest company... because he wanted something for free. The three negative reviews by this person are totally unwarranted and should be ignored.Here s Tony s explanation:This person brought his Mercedes to T & R to diagnose multiple problems and a check the entire vehicle for issues since he recently bought it and didn t know if it needed any work. He mentioned the following issues:1) Coolant leak and loss of coolant2) Multiple lights flashing on dashboard including taillight problems, stop light problems3) Check engine light problem4) Thorough inspection of the vehicle5) A/C light is onTony at T & R gave him an estimate to diagnose these issues and perform the vehicle inspection. He signed and agreed to the estimate. T & R spent several hours diagnosing the problems and informed him of all the issues. The customer decided not to have anything repaired which was his prerogative. Upon submission of the invoice, he had an issue paying for the diagnosis charge that he had agreed to. Tony even explained that if the repairs were performed by T & R, they would be able to waive the initial charge and absorb the cost of the diagnosis. Instead, he decided to write bad reviews because he expected something for free.

Terrible customer service. The owner, John was belligerent and unprofessional. Instead on deescalating a problem, he continued to fuel it with fire. No customer skills. If there was a way to give -5 stars I definitely would. Would not recommend to speak with him.

Total rip off, never trust these guys, will charge you x10 than other shops nearby. Check always pricing with other repair shops before and after getting quotes from these guys.

CHARGED ME 320 for oil and filter change! Whereas other shops offer 2x cheaper price.

Tony, the owner, is awesome. He's a true car enthusiast, so you know when he's telling you something it's with real passion and caring. I took my car there for a very simple check to see what he could recommend for a blue tooth setup. He's always very helpful, and gave us some options on what to buy. Bonus is that there is always some exotic car being worked on as well!

I cannot say enough good things about T & R. It is the absolute best place to get any car repaired, even an exotic. I brought my car to Tony after two other mechanics were unable to find a noise coming from the rear of the car. The noise would come and go, but when it was there, it was bad. I was concerned about driving the vehicle, for both safety and not knowing if I was causing greater damage. I brought the car to Tony and he had to test drive the car multiple times to have the noise replicated. He was able to locate the noise which turned out to be a damaged axle. Tony was EXTREMELY fair on the labor cost and time necessary to find the elusive noise. Additionally at my request Tony was able to find a used replacement axle to lessen the cost. Tony always wants to do the right and fair thing for all of his customers. He truly cares about helping people, and resolving problems. I now live in Napa, CA and will continue to bring all of my vehicles to Tony.

I've been taken advantage of at my Maserati dealer service department already, so I found these guys on Maps. Tony has been so thorough that I have a hard time conveying how relieved I am. My catalytic converters went out on my GT. It was going to run me $5,600 (much more at the dealer). Tony called the dealer and made sure it was covered under the Federal Clean Air Act. Now, it won't cost me anything. I'm picking up my car today, with a big smile on my face and I couldn't recommend these guys more! They are master's and their craft and very trustworthy!!

T&R has been my trusted mechanic (Ferrari, Land Rover, and Porsche) the past several years. I've found Tony to be thorough and with the more complicated issues, he is extremely thoughtful in this approach. He and his team are top notch technicians and they treat your car as if it were there own!

Brought my car to Tony last month and was blown away by his professionalism and strong attention to detail. He and his team did an amazing job, and I've never been happier with my car. I don't generally leave online reviews but felt this was a special case- I'd highly, highly recommend!

This place is a total rip off, they basically stole $190 from me, I ll show you proof. I went there to get my left headlight replaced, they CHARGED ME $237 (the bulb was only $15, the rest was labor). I then went to Paul s Battery & Tire to get my right headlight replaced and they did the EXACT SAME THING FOR $47. I added photos of the two different bills as proof.On top of that, the owner was super rude and disrespectful. When I asked how much it would cost to get my headlights polished, he said it would be $150, to which I responded, wow that s a lot. To which he responded I knew you were you going to complain, I could just tell. Well, I m glad I said something, but I wish I trusted my instincts and bailed before they could steal from me.Service: General repairs & maintenance

My 2004 BMW is still driving today because of Tony! I cant thank him enough for helping to keep my car driving smoothly and safely for the past 5 years. His level of professionalism and customer service is what sets him apart in the Bay Area. He cares about his customers and fosters a personal relationship with each and every one of them. I will also be a custom not only for the work he does on my car but for the relationship we have built. Highly recommend him for all your automotive needs!

Very bad mechanic!! What a ripped off! they charged us $1,200. They didn't fix our car problem! (The fan is very loud noise after turn the engine off) So we took it back to ask them to fix it. After we pick up the car, still have the same problem. So we took it back for the second time and this time they said they need to check more and we need to pay for checking again. Finally, we just gave up! We wasted $1,200 for nothing! Waste time and money!! No recommended at all!!!Service: Steering & suspension repair

I had a really challenging and disappointing experience with this mechanic. A friend was borrowing my car and it broke down so she took it to this mechanic since they were open on the weekend. The mechanic gave me rundown of what he thought the issue was and told me it would be ready Monday. I go to pick up the car and it stalls just minutes away from the Exxon station. They call a tow to the place where it was stalled immediately, cover it, and tell me they'll run a full diagnostic (something I thought I had already paid $600 for) but then call me and tell me the engine has failed. I go there to get it towed to a different mechanic because I no longer trust their expertise and the guy yells at me saying the stall "wasn't his fault" and that I have to pay $125 for the tow to get my keys back. I have AAA, that could have been free. So now they've swindled me out of $725. Don't go here, they're incredibly untrustworthy and unprofessional.

I moved to California from the Northeast with my 89 Testarossa about a year ago. Since the move the car has been running rougher than normal and occasionally stalled.After asking some local FCA friends, I decided to go to T&R to have the car checked out. Tony took the car in and was quickly able to diagnose and repair the problem with my fuel distribution. The car had been previously serviced by the same mechanic since new so I was very skeptical trusting it with a new mechanic, but I am glad I did. I even ran the repair costs by my old mechanic (in Connecticut) to make sure the costs were inline and he said I got a very fair price.The car has been running like new since the service and I have been enjoying it up and down the coast since then. Tony and his team are great. I've been to couple ferrari dealers and Tony spotted the problem that the dealers couldn't. I pay almost half the price dealership would charge me. I drive my ferrari daily unlike other ferrari owners because of this place.

T&R Automotive is a truly outstanding business. I ve known the owner, Tony Abdulmassih, for years and he is really a stand-up guy. He goes above and beyond with his customer service, keeping my infiniti Qx4 running smoothly both in the city and everywhere I go.One time, my car broke down on a road trip in North Carolina. It was pouring rain, my car was smoking, and I didn t know what to do or who to call. I ended up calling Tony and he calmly walked me through the diagnosis. It turned out that the air conditioner belt had snapped, which was causing all the steam, and he stayed on the line with us to talk to the mechanic who towed the car. Tony really knows how to take care of his customers, and his experience and work speaks volumes. I m so glad I found T&R Automotive, and I ll be a customer for life!

Just giving credit where credit is due...As a former auto restoration shop owner from Chicago, I've learned to look past the glitz and glamour of a repair shop and pay attention to what is truly important -- the knowledge, skill and experience of the technician providing service to my vehicle.It doesn't really concern me when I see a fancy reception area, well decorated offices, or a huge multi-bay shop, as only one car can receive the attention of the master technician at a time anyway. I'm most concerned with the credentials of the repair technician. This is where I am very impressed with the level of quality and attention to detail that Tony Abdulmassih provides at T & R Auto.Tony has the mind of an engineer and the hands of a surgeon, and combined, become the brilliance behind his masterful work. When it comes to protecting your investment in a high end, high performance, exotic automobile, nothing can be more important than having the very best mechanic available to maintain its integrity. Tony has risen to the challenge and continues to live up to the reputation that precedes him. T & R Auto has value way beyond its financial savings -- and it begins with a mindset of doing the right thing - providing high quality repairs, each and every time. Absolute best place to take your car for service. Honest and high integrity. Tony and crew are incredible! They are the best I have ever come across. They work on all cars including luxury cars - Mercedes, Range Rovers and even Ferraris!

Hello Reader, :)I am from Portland, Oregon. My SUV had a few problems and it stranded me at Starbucks coffee a few blocks from the station on California St. in San Francisco. So I walked down and spoke with Tony @ the 76 Station. Tony is a Mechanical Engineer and took time away from his work to patiently speak with me, a person who knows little about vehicle repairs.He explained what the trouble most likely was and he was very knowledgeable and spoke to me in terms I understood! He's not a salesman! He's a technician and an intelligent man. He made me feel comfortable and basically said he'd have to see the vehicle.It was towed there and looked over and he explained everything that was needed. Only what it needed and nothing more! He doesn't try to sell you something you don't want or need! He explained the trouble and the approximate cost of the repair. My starter and fuel pump were bad! I guessed that was the case before I took it there and he confirmed that.It was repaired and I was very, very happy with the cost! I was a little worried when I saw Ferrari's and other extremely nice vehicles parked there for obvious repairs or maintanance. I thought to myself, great! Just what I need when I own a Ford Explorer. They are certified to work on any car there and apparently the customer's are also as satisfied as I was. Don't let the beautiful cars scare you away. It would have been my mistake to have done so!Basically, I would recommend the 76 Station to anyone who needs their vehicle repaired the right way and for a very competitive price. I checked what he did afterwards with 2 other repair shops online and I got the best price from Tony @ the 76 repair shop. I was relieved because I didn't know what to expect and I wasn't disappointed. I was extremely happy and I trust them and I know you will too!Tony is a very nice man who is patient and clear about what he will do. It wasn't a game of wait and see! I had to wait shortly to see that they are professional, efficient and run a very clean business.I could say more, but I won't. Go see them if you own a Ferrari, a Ford or anything in between. They really are the Best! I'm 49 years old had I've had a few repairs done in my time. This was the best I've ever been talken care of! Ever! :)Thank you, Tony and your crew!I'll be back!! There is a reason why on any day of the week, you will see a mob of Ferraris at this quaint and unassuming gas station. They are all there for the meticulous care and expertise of Tony. From routine service to tricky aftermarket upgrades for your Ferrari, Tony is the man to see.

I had some work to be done on my car, in the past I had not had good experiences with getting work done at other shops, poor quotes wrong expectation of time frame. Tony and team stuck to their word with efficiency and had my car back to me in a timely manner. I trust them and would refer all friends and family. Thank you!!

We were trying to navigate out of the city, and then realized the gas tank was empty! Found this place, probably a little pricey, tiptoed past the candy bars under the careful watch of the owner and used the restroom. Then we noticed the pile-up of fancy cars and realized that this place was a specialty auto shop for ferraris and other imports.

Tony is a true pro...I had some issues and had to have them taken cared of on short notice...Tony came through and as all other here have stated - went ABOVE AND BEYOND.I can't recommend him enough...10/10Thanks, Tony - very much appreciated
