Best service experience I ever got from any Honda Dealer. They did good work, completed it for a fair price, and quickly. Only necessary work was recommended. I really appreciate and respect that approach, I will bring my business to here from now on.

I have visited SF Honda Service center a few times over the past couple of years and have always been impressed with their ability to offer quick and friendly service. This week I had to make an unscheduled visit and Jun and Natalie were happy to get my car serviced and back to me ASAP.

After frustrating experience at a different service center and with a repair of a dent that happened during initial delivery, I brought my Pilot in here, and was helped by the assistant manager (Amber) and the manager (Aaron). They worked with me to address the handful of issues and my vehicle was completely fixed better than before. Much appreciated!

About a month ago, I dropped off my car for mount and balance 4 tires. Everything was fine, until I drove out the dealer. While I was driving home, TPMS came on. so I checked tire air pressure when I get home.(tires were look so messy with white glue?? and 3 wheels scratched) 3 tires were low air. 30&31 PSII added more air to 33psi.Few days later, When I drove work TPMS light came off.But when coming home at night , light back on and stillMy car was very good shape, never running a car with any warning lights on. SF dealer making my car poor.

Service here is extremely slow with minimum wait times being always 2+ hours. I have always made an appointment prior to arrival, and yet it doesn t do anything. It s pretty much first come, first serve. This is the second time Service Advisor Ashley (#1453) checks off the box of not having an appointment even when I do. It kind of defeats the purpose of even mentioning I had an appointment in the first place. She even tried adding on items that were not requested with no explanations. I insisted I m here just for an oil change and tire rotation.I should have known better when I didn t see oil change and tire rotation on the estimated itemized service paper. Rather, it had a 5k minimum service, which adds an oil additive (Advance MOA) to the bill.I recommend going with Service Advisor Eric Chau and Brian for all your service needs.

They told me the tire puncture could be fixed and made the repair and then charged me for it. After some that they told me that it needs replacement and i had to replace the tire. When asked for the charge they made a frivolous excuse stating that that was a charge for mount and balance. Note that for tire change we don't require mount and balance. I would suggest not using this service center and going to the Marina one or any other one nearby.Service: Auto tire replacement

Had such a great experience at SF Honda service! My AC wasn't working and I was able to make an appointment and get it fixed on the same day. Tommy was so helpful, professional, and patient with all my questions, as were all the other staff! I also appreciate their large check in area, long hours, flexibility and communication - I was able to drop my car off at 8 am before work and pick it up anytime before 7 pm. Tommy also called to update me about any pricing changes, warranty coverage, and repair status. Thank you so much SF Honda - I feel less stressed about car repairs thanks to your service!Update one year later: still love this service center! Ashley was so helpful and knowledgeable and answered all my questions. They also have a very spacious customer lounge with reliable WiFi and I was able to work while my car was being fixed. Thank you S.F. Honda!

I was happy with San Francisco Honda, I just go there to ask if I need appointment for service the car, but they said you don't need it and you can do it now it takes 2hrs. They did a good job even they done less than 2hrs. That was a great customer service experience and from now only go there in the future. And more important I don't have to go to the Honda serramonte and waist my time with their nonsense rules

We took the MDX for air conditioning problem. They have an estimate for $4239.We paid for it and we got the car back but the problem still there. The air conditioning is not working. We drove the car back there. They said they find a small leak and charge us $1000 more for the service. After we talk to the service manager ,he give us 25%off.We never go back there again.Bad and expensive.Never go back toHonda

They are very fast, efficient, and courteous, but you get what you pay for. My regular mechanic quoted me $250 and a two-week repair job, but I was able to make an appointment with Honda Service Center on a Sunday afternoon, and Tommy there got me in and out in one hour on Monday morning, for $500. The service was well-worth the money when we only have one car in the household.

Sf Honda has moved their service center a few times. They have been at this new spot on Van Ness and Bush for about a month. The check in area looks much better, but the check in process needs a lot of work.We set up an appointment for 8am on a Saturday morning. We arrived right on time and were directed into a queue. We had to wait 30 minutes before we were called over to check in. I understand that with the appointment, my car will get seen before the walk ins do, but they need to set up a different line for people with appointments to get checked in before the walk ins...

I came into the SF Honda center to take care of a recall for my 2012 Honda Civic. The team handled everything quickly and with great service. They were also very accommodating when I had to return for an issue with my car passing smog check and a battery issue. I was helped by Erick Borja, who was friendly and eager to help me however he could. I also spoke with Chris, a manger, who helped get everything sorted and for a great price. All around: excellent, friendly service!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I've never before been to a service garage where they make the customer wait in their car. We arrived to our appointment on time and were forced to wait 27 minutes before they would ask us what's up and let us leave. A properly managed garage would have someone immediately come out, ask us for details, write it down, and let us go. There were a half a dozen other cars also waiting, and employees idling behind a desk. We've also talked to their reps on the phone before, been told we can come in for a particular issue, then when we come in we're turned away for not having diagnostics availability.

Called and asked for an estimate to just get the car checked out for an issue with a sound I was hearing. Was told they have to look at it first before they can quote me. Went in at 9am only to hear the service rep tell me it s a flat/standard $210 fee to check any single issue. Comes with no additional checks to the car. Huge waste of time they could have saved me on the phone.I went to a local repair shop, the mechanic sat with me in the car and drove to see what I was seeing. He checked out other parts of the car because I said we were going on a road trip. Found no issues whatsoever. Charged me $0, and wished us well on our trip.I tipped him $20 and that repair shop has earned my business for the foreseeable future.

I went in to check on a recall notice. They were able to take me sticky. They have local area shuttle service, definitely ask if you live or work in the area. The staff was friendly and efficient. I did not get any upsell pressure for other services etc.

Parts department reception male was rude, unprofessional, rolled his ayes every question I made, never smiled, when walk to get my parts he not even say anything. Came back thrown a box on the desk, told to pay, not even said, thank you for shopping with us. He shouldn't be there. @SF store.

Tee was very rude! Sure I came in upset 5 hrs later because earlier I drove out of the service shop with my 'check engine' light off (thinking the problem had resolved itself) after Rey suggested I upgrade the software on my Honda HRV. I didn't pay the $210 because that's too much money for a diagnostic. If the mechanic reset my dashboard 'check engine' light after the system upgrade was done, he or Rey should have communicated concern for my safety before driving out of the service center. Instead my car turned off twice on me while driving after I left Honda. Luckily I did not get into an accident. I came in upset and all Tee could do was walk away ignoring me to help another customer because they would close in 30 minutes and he did not want to deal with an upset customer. Obviously he is not well equipped with problem resolution skills and really sucks at customer service. He failed to understand my frustration and only wanted to prove me wrong.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

When my Honda car without driving one week then need to use cable jumper to start the engine(battery still original and still 3 months left to expired warranty date) .( Battery warranty is 7 years)I bring to check and might need to changed new battery. After wait one hour they said battery is good no need to change and checking fee around 200. How can customer s trust this service. I do not want to argue ( my times another hour cost 200) so just bye. Later happened again I bought new battery from Auto parts shop around 100 done.( I pay shop sales man changed only cost me 20 and less than 10 mins only.)More than cost new battery.

I took my car in for an airbag recall. They were quick and polite, I can t ask for much more! The only thing that wasn t perfect was that they didn t mark the customer entrance (It s the glass door closest to the gate where you drive in). They ve only been open a few months though, so I m sure they ll add one soon.

Professional and courteous. We came in an hour before closing with an emergency and the car was fixed by the next day. It's bit expensive here but I didn't expect much less. It's weird how different service centers have different policies but eh what can you do?

These guys are either grossly incompetent or frauds. They said that some part of my car's axel needed to be replaced at the tune of $900. They also said that I needed a new battery. Two other mechanics said my axel and car overall are in great condition -- no repairs needed. My battery has lasted just fine for 18 months.

I hate to post this but I must. I have taken my car to Honda Service Centers for 20 years, but that ends after today. Devron, my service assistant yesterday told me that my Accord was due for a $500+ major service & I said fine. Later in the day, he called me & said that the inspection showed that my car (67,000 miles) required a resealing of the timing case cover. I asked him how how much I would owe & he asked: Do you want a break-down or the total cost of your bill? I replied, Give me the total cost. He replied: $2300+. I was taken aback but ok d the resealing. He said my car would be ready at 6 p.m. When I told him I would probably pick it up in the morning, he said he would give me a courtesy call to let me know it was ready. That call never came. When I called in the morning to make sure the car was ready, I repeatedly got Devron s answering machine. When I showed up at the service center this morning, I was presented with a bill of $2900+ $600 more than Devron quoted me the previous evening. He did give me a paltry morning $200 discount, but he would not take responsibility nor apologize. The labor for this service was $2492!!! if the mechanics worked for 8 hours, that works out to $300+/hour!!! Are you willing to play that much to have your car serviced? This is the first time I felt GOUGED by Honda with misinformation & unreliability. I will not be taking my car back to the Folsom Street service center. There are so many quality places to get your car serviced in San Francisco. Think hard and long before you trust your car to these folks. Discouraged & upset,David
