I have such complex feeling about this place i had to reschedule three time to get my glass changed properly but the job was done quickly and properly. Very careful and thorough instruction on what to look out for and what to expect. The calibration of safety cameras is done very carefully. Appreciate that.Not a good start to begin with; this place is at the worst part of town; the front desk lady blamed me for being late, even though I m right on time and had to stand there waiting for her finishing her conversation with another guy Also, I was forced to come back to pick the car up the same day since they don t do overnight parking.On the other hand , the tech guy was honest with me about OEM parts vs non-Audi parts. Personally don t think non-Audi parts should be a thing. But at least they are honest enough to tell me.

Super efficient process getting my windshield replaced with Safelite. Stress free experience since they are a preferred partner with my insurance. Location looks new or at least very clean and organized. Can t imagine a better alternative to glass repair/replacing.

Our entire experience start to finish:I want to preface this by saying that in no way do I blame any of the staff at this location as they were very friendly and the repair took no longer than 20 minutes from when it was started. Seems professionally done so no complaints about the quality. However, getting our appointment was a headache and a half. We scheduled our first appointment through AAA for passenger window repair and attempted to contact the store a few days later to ask if they had the glass for our car. Could not locate their in-store number on the website only their customer service line. Customer service assured us they did have the glass but 2 days before our appointment (nearly 2 weeks after initially scheduling) we were notified by email that our appointment was cancelled because they did not have the glass in-store Okay. They did not reschedule us automatically instead we had to schedule a new appointment on the phone. This time we were kept updated with the progress of the glass shipment. Upon arriving at the second appointment, they said that their system stated our claim called for our passenger window along with our windshield to be replaced. We did not file a claim for the windshield. Not sure if this is the fault of AAA or Safelite but someone messed up and neither parties took responsibility when we got on a 3-way call. We addressed the issue and the front desk was very understanding and we were still able to have our passenger window fixed. Wish the service window wasn t so long because drop-off was at 9:30am at the latest but the service didn t start until 4:13pm. For a job that took only 20 minutes to complete, it kind of sucks not having the car for an entire work day. But I understand that they probably had many clients and needed to manage their time. I do not have anything against the employees here or this specific location; they were all wonderful. I do have a problem with how Safelight s internal system completely fumbled both our appointments leaving the poor workers to try and resolve everything themselves.

I had a great experience! My car was broken into on a holiday weekend, and they were able to see me that same day. They didn't have the replacement glass in stock, so they "crash wrapped" the window and scheduled me to come back in 2 weeks. It rained like crazy during that time, and the interior of my car remained dry! Staff were helpful, kind, and professional. Good communication by email and phone. The repair was completed as originally scheduled. It was easy with my insurance carrier (State Farm).

Utterly incompetent. This has been the worst service-related experience I ever encountered. I needed to repair my car glass because somebody broke-into my car.1) Appointment number 1: after giving them all the info (car model, VIN, etc.) they gave me the appointment, but when I arrived at the store they did not have the glass.2) Appointment number 2: they gave me another appointment, I went to the store, they installed the glass and only after the installation they realized that they ordered the wrong glass (see picture).3) Appointment number 3: they gave me a third appointment, and when I went to the store they realized that they ordered again the wrong glass. At least they realized it was wrong before installing it.4) Appointment number 4: they gave me another appointment, and again when I arrived at the store they had the wrong glass.5) Appointment number 5: they finally had the proper glass, and they installed it. They charged me full price, even after I complained with the store manager about their unbelievably unprofessional service.

I m actually so surprised to see this Safelite location has so many low reviews - I had the absolute best experience with them. The woman who checked me in for my appointment was awesome, and so so helpful in getting our windshield replaced, and the technician walked me back to the car after to make sure I was totally happy with the results. Honestly, start to finish, I felt like I was treated like a VIP. Excellent customer service. I d bring my car back here anytime. They had me in and out within an hour and a half on a Friday morning. Thank you to the whole team!!

I had my poor car rear window broken into. Through my Geico insurance Safelite covered the replacement entirely for free!They also came to my house and replaced my window while I was at home. It was so quick and easy and awesome not having to drop it off anywhere. The new window is great. Thanks Safelite!

Completely unprofessional. Made appt for 10am, was told would take 2-2.5 hrs. Got here, was told 3hrs. At 12:30 I got a message saying they finally started. I asked how much longer they expected and the technician came out to yell at me. WHY DID I COME AT 10am if they weren't even gonna bother for 2.5hrs? making an appointment means nothing to Safelite. Hopefully not much longer and they don't mess up the work.

Getting your car's glass repaired or replaced is never fun, especially if it's due to a break-in or a rock chip from the road. But if you do need to visit an auto glass shop, Safelite Auto Glass is a great choice.I recently had my windshield repaired at Safelite, and I was very impressed with their service. I was able to schedule an appointment right away, and the Satellite app reminded me about my appointment on a regular basis.When I arrived at the shop, I was greeted by Austin, a friendly and efficient repair technician. He explained the repair process to me and got started right away. The repair was completed within 15 minutes, and I was on my way.The only downside to my experience was that I had to drive on broken glass to get out of the shop. I would recommend that Safelite keep up with sweeping up a bit more.Overall, I had a positive experience with Safelite Auto Glass. Austin was friendly and efficient, and the repair was done quickly and correctly. I would recommend Satellite Auto Glass to other customers.

My window was broken. I scheduled an appointment 9 days out with my car sitting on the street without a window hoping it doesn't rain. One day before my appointment they called and said they didn't have the glass, nor do they have an eta on when the glass would come. So I was supposed to just leave my vehicle on the street, without a window for an indeterminate amount of time... all after already waiting for 8 days. Absolutely unacceptable level of customer service.

Slow service - they promise one time then end up late. Then they ll make you stay until it s ready because they can t hold it overnight . Overall would not come back nor recommend this location.

Horrible work ethics,, the scheduled me and i drove 2 hrs get my glass fixed, when i reached there they said they dont have the right glass. Such an waste ! Must avoid this site

Worst place ever. They gave me an appointment after 10 days under the claim that parts were not available. Then, confirmed the appointment through text messages, but I got to the place in person and found out that it was canceled. They claim the parts will take one more day to arrive. Than they said the next available appointment was about 10 extra days out, even if they had the part. When I asked to talk to the manager they made me wait for 2 hours and only then told me the person was not going to show up. The most disrespectful operation. I called another shop and got an appointment much sooner, with original parts from the manufacturer.

1. I prepaid for a windshield replacement appointment in the amount of $682.24 that was canceled due to inability to get the correct aftermarket part. I asked Safelite to cancel and refund which that agreed. This cancelation was transacted around August 4, 2023 with the refund promised between 5-10 working days. Today is August 23, 2023 and I have yet to receive my refund. I've tried to contact the shop but have been unable to despite over 30 attempts on the phone. For the record, Safelite's central customer service center has also been unable to get in touch with the shop.2. After the 1st cancelation, I was advised to make a separate appointment for the same windshield but for an OEM part. On August 17, 2023 I arrived at the shop only to find that the OEM part they had delivered was the wrong part. At this point, the shop had advised me they will contact the OEM part supplier to get a resolution and promised an update. Today is August 23, 2023 and again despite over 30 attempts on the phone to get in touch, I have been unable to connect.

Got my windshield replaced here at the 16th st location back in September. Photos below show the rubber weather strip around on the driver side not lining up properly. Chances are my windshield will probably leak water through.Also underneath the glass you can see by A-piller wasn t properly put back together either. The passenger side is the same.Wouldn t recommend this location.Service: Auto windshield replacement

I would give them 0 stars if I could. They canceled my appointment twice because their parts department is a mess. It s impossible to speak with an actual human when you call customer service. A truly terrible experience.

Quick and easy. I had a crack clear across my windshield from a small pebble that hit it and it had spread over time. I dropped my car off and they replaced it in the time frame they promised.Excellent job!

I was able to drop off the car at 7am but there was no drop box as instructed by the automated appointment notated. They should get the part worked out since I know I booked early so that I could drop off and head right to work. This cost me another 15 minutes waiting for someone to drop the key withNote: You will go to the rear (Davidson Ave) of the building where there is a small parking lot. Enter building through back where you walk to the front of the building where there is a small office. They have free water and coffee in the waiting room as well as a bathroom.Once I got the keys handed off everything was really easy and the staff very friendly. My car did not get finished till 530. The sign says they close at 5 but will stay later if your car takes longer to finish. I would shoot for being there at 5 if you car is started after 4. The staff even cleaned the front two seats which was a nice touch.

I came in for a scheduled appointment, only to have found more than half a dozen people booked for the same time. When a technician inspected my car, I was told to get my engine codes checked at a car dealer first before they could replace my windshield.I then went to the car dealer and got my car scanned for engine codes, and no codes came up. I am extremely disappointed with this shop wasting my time, when the job should have been done in the first place.

Horrible customer service. Cancelled my appointment at 4:45pm the night before via email. They left a phone number to contact them should I have questions but nobody answered. I can understand that product inventory is an issue but they clearly knew that before end of business the day before my appointment and could have called me. At best the next appointment they would give me was 3 weeks out, I had already waited over a week.Thankfully I had been told about In & Out Auto Glass, they were wonderful. I'd recommend them over Safelite every time. They answered their phone after hours and got me in the next day. They were friendly, quick and LESS EXPENSIVE!!!If your insurance pushes you to Safelite, I'd politely decline and head to In & Out!!

What a nightmare.I had a crack in my windshield, so I scheduled an at-home replacement appointment through my insurance app because Safelite was the cheapest option. They showed up and told me it was "too windy" to do the install without a second person, and there was no second person available. Frustrating, but it was a super windy day, so fine. They tell me they're going to call to reschedule.They never call. I check online a few days later, and a new appointment has been scheduled for two days later without ever notifying me. It overlaps with several meetings of mine, but whatever- I just want this thing replaced so I can drive again.I get a call the morning of my appointment (at 7:45 am) telling me "my appointment has been scheduled in error because the safety features of my car mean it is not eligible for at-home replacement and it needs to be recalibrated on-site." Never mind that the insurance company says I'm eligible and that recalibration is an optional recommended service. Never mind that installers charge for recalibration and installation separately. Never mind that there was someone from Safelite *at my home ready to do the install* several days ago.Under no circumstances would I ever use Safelite in the future.Service: Auto windshield replacement

They didn't know what to do with my 94 toyota pickup windshield. I waited four days for my appointment and they just didn't know what to do. I took it to Auto Glass Now on Bryant the same day and they fixed it within two hours. Go there instead.

This was really a terrible experience. I brought my car at 9:00am with two cracked windows (but at least functional) and left at 9:00pm with one less window and plastic instead. They also broke the regulator on the window which I had to repair in the dealership. After the terrible experience, I tried to reach out to the store manager and they did not even had the courtesy to reply back and apologize for the experience. When I tried to call they just did not pick up the phone. There is no way I would ever come back to Safelite.

Insisted that the car be brought in at 7:30 am because they have a rigid scheduling slot system. Indicated the replacement would take 4 hours, but plan to drop the car for the day. At 1:22pm received an email that the service had just begun. Closes at 5pm. At 5:00, the front desk said the car was being driven to recalibrate the cameras. When asked if it would be ready today, I was told I don t know.. we have to keep it until it recalibrates. How long is that? I do t know, however long it takes. Should I go home and come back later? I don t know. Dreadful scheduling and customer interface.

Avoid. Showed up for our appointment; they said "we ordered the wrong part." Rescheduled for the next day, but they made the appointment for 4 am instead of 4 pm. Couldn't reach them on the phone so tried to fix the scheduling error online. New quoted price was more than twice as much.

We had a chip on our windshield so we booked an appointment to get it inspected. To my surprise, the technician advised that we should not get it fixed as the process would damage the glass more since it was only a surface chip.Very happy with the professional and honest service that is quite rare now. Will definitely visit them again if I have any other glass issues.Service: Auto windshield repair
