Incredible customer service and over all service in general. Bryan has been extremely communicative with frequent updates. I have an older Mazda 3 that still has some life in her but needs more maintenance and care.I had come in recently with multiple issues over the course of 3 weeks. I had to return a couple times as there was some follow up issues to resolve, but Bryan would always ensure that if it was related to the original issue, it would be guaranteed and covered. Which it was, every time.He would also make sure to update me frequently via text message and even sent video with thorough updates on what was done. He'd confirm cost estimates with me first before moving forward with the repairs. Now I have a car running smoothly and I'm not worried that it'll die on me on my daily commute.I would highly recommend anyone to Royal Auto for service!

I definitely recommend Royal Auto Group! The speakers in my Mazda needed to be replaced and the service was done quickly and was fairly priced. Julio had wonderful customer service and communicated with me lots throughout the process, and the rest of the staff were friendly and professional as well. The employees here really go above and beyond to provide quality service. So happy to have my music back

Fantastic concierge level service from drop off to pick up. Chris S. was a courteous, honest and knowledgeable service advisor and made sure to present all the variables, time and money, up front for my Audi's issues. He kept in constant communication and delivered earlier than the original ETA. Chris and the staff at Royal Auto Group's service department will change your mind about dealership service and we have continued to return even after our warranty has expired. Thank you Chris!

My review pertains specifically to Mazda.Royal Mazda is fairly good for basic and simple services. Oil changes, rotations, inspections, and filters etc. Anything beyond that feels like pulling teeth.The service managers are polite and welcoming but often feel like they don't listen regarding any detailed issues. I've brought my Mazda in for general service and brought up Brakes and transmission issues but as long as the vehicle is "within spec" even if it makes a bunch of noise, it won't be addressed until it "Might" fail. Seems they shy away from warranty work if they can.Some other issues I've had were scheduling, where as I scheduled weeks in advance for general oil change and tire rotation. They were so over scheduled, I had to pick my vehicle up the next follow day as they didn't have time to get my my vehicle the day I dropped it off.There is also no waiting area, but a $20 one way reimbursement for uber/lyft.This is my first Mazda vehicle and will be my last, I ended up selling it as I am unconfident in it's reliability and local service centers network and willingness to be able to fix any issues that pop up.

I took my Mazda MX5 in with a steering problem. The technician was able to find the problem, and when I had a follow up query ten minutes before closing, the customer service engineer kept the shop open and the technician drove around with me for a half hour to figure it out. 10/10 would recommend.

I'd brought my car to Bryan a few times for routine service and eventually after normal wear and tear it needed some significant repairs.Basically the nightmare info for anyone who isn't very savvy with cars.Bryan eased any concern I possibly had, and educated me on what I needed and why. He then went the extra mile to walk me through any possible scenario that I had, no matter how ridiculous they were.Most important, Bryan wanted me to make the best decision for me, and helped me be equipped to make that decision.If you need to do anything with a Mazda, you need to go in and ask for Bryan.

To all the customers taking your car here for service please know the employees who move your cars from the nearby parking back to you and vice-versa are driving your cars very erratically and without concern for your vehicles. I constantly see the employees in the parking garage going over high speed bumps at a very high rate of speed possibly damaging the suspension of your cars. I would consider taking your vehicles somewhere elsewhere for servicing where the employees that work there show proper care of people's expensive property.

Though our Volvo has had more issues than I would prefer in the first 2 years of owning it, Taylor has been great in communicating issues and understanding about scheduling constraints when it comes to dropping off and picking up the car. Since I bought my VW (in 2012), Frank at Royal is my guy....Always straight up with me - when there was something wrong with my VW (in the 1st year) - another VW shop sent me an outrageous bill - Frank said "this is all under warranty" saved me tons of $$$ -

$630 just for the diagnostic and no work done - $315 to inspect the check engine light and $315 to check the leaking sunroof. Quoted $4,000+ to unclog and and replace the sunroof tubes and replace the upper timing cover. I got it done at KSH for $800 total.

Chris Sung was the most efficient, friendly and listened to my concerns immediately. He got me in and out for service on my Q5 hybrid and got me way charged up. Royal Automotive Service center is the place to go. I drive a Volvo and I just can't say enough wonderful things about them. Jim and Tyler the service advisors are wonderful. They are kind and help you through the process.I've been working with Jim since I got my car and he just goes above and beyond. I'm going to be getting a new car soon and I'm make sure to buy it at Royal Automotive. I love this place so much I'm making my mom buy and service her car here as well.If you want to be treated with honesty by people that genuinely care go here. Thanks Jim and team for making it so easy !! If I could give 100 star I would!!

Worst customer service ever! Get a receipt immediately when you return their courtesy car. DO NOT Trust them when they tell you they will email it electronically.I returned my courtesy car but when they emailed me a receipt for the courtesy car rental, they charged me for bridge tolls that weren t mine. And then I noticed that they had the wrong date on my rental return. I have been emailing and calling and they still haven t fixed the charge even though the manager Jeffrey Johnston apologized for their mistake and said they would send me a check. I ve been waiting for a check for weeks and I still haven t gotten response when I followed up.

HOT TIP: There is a pretty long line of cars if you drop off in the morning. If you come too late, you'll find yourself in a long line for 10+ minutes, plus you'll be blocking traffic. Either come right before they open at 8am, or much later in the morning.I've brought my CX-5 here several times, and I've always had a good experience. They are professional and communicative, the shop is clean, and the work is good. Prices are pretty average for San Francisco, at least for oil changes. You can schedule appointments online and communicate with your point of contact over text, which is nice. They even send you a video of the inspection, which is a nice touch!Service: General repairs & maintenance

We lost a key fob for our new Mazda CX-5 and came here to get two new ones (expensive, yes, but apparently they all are). Even though we bought the car in San Jose, Royal Auto took great care of us. Bryan was great -- made a video showing us what he did, and in addition to the new key fobs he did a nice check-up on the car. Fortunately this will now be our regular place for service.

I have been going to Royal Auto group since 2018 for all of my Mazda service and repair needs. The team has shown me nothing but the highest respect and has always had excellent service. My work woth service rep Julio has always left me feeling reassured about their ability to address my needs. I love how they show me videos of my car to explain in detail what they see during service examinations and diagnostic work. I feel that the process is transparent and I am never made to feel pressure to add things that are unnecessary. The team is straight forward about what is needed and when it is needed by so I can make the financial decision on when to pursue replacements. I have only gone to royal auto group since I moved to San Francisco and I will continue going back.

I had to bring in my Audi Q5 for a factory recall (the backup camera issue). I had a great experience scheduling my service (they are very busy but were able to fit me in). Johnny was hands down the best service professional I have ever encountered. He was helpful, efficient, pleasant, and a great communicator. A+ service all around, thank you!

Rude staff, weren t able to figure out why our Audi Q5 driver assist features aren t working. Luckily they waived the $300 diagnostic fee (which they failed to mention to us in the first place). Would recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Very positive experience at this body shop. My Mazda needed a fair amount of maintenance (4 tire replacement, oil and coolant change, software update, etc.) and this group got it done right. Julio was professional and got me a fair rate, and I received text updates as well as a detailed video from Luis who showed what the underside of the car looked like and the condition under the hood which was cool. Royal Auto Group has been pretty reliable for fixing most of my car needs. Sometimes it can be a bit pricey but the hands on service, text responses, and video recap of issues before pickup make it a seamless experience.

A couple of days ago I did realize the front driver tire of my 2013 Volvo S80 had a cut on the tire wall probably due to the age of the tire (5+ years). After calling a few places to shop around for best prices and availability, I was transfer to Gary, the tire specialist from Volvo of San Francisco. Gary patiently explained everything I needed to know and consider to replace the tire. Since the problem was related to aging of the tire, even though the other 3 tires had plenty of life (tread) left on them, I made the decision to replace all 4 tires because I do drive long distances to visit family every few weeks. The new tires needed to be ordered, but they were made available the next day from their own warehouse. Yim from customer service treated me so professionally and welcoming that at times it felt as we were old friends doing business. Overall a great experience from the initial phone call to the moment I left with 4 new tires and the excellent guarantees offered by Volvo dealerships nowadays when it comes to standing behind their work and simply providing excellent customer service and the best parts and repairs for the cars they service. They certainly gained a new loyal customer.Service: Tires

I've been to Royal Auto Group twice now to service my VW GTI. Each time I've been impressed with their customer service. Frank always walks me through what is wrong and what they're doing to fix the issue. As someone with little knowledge of cars I appreciate the care they take with their customers.
