Well these guys were just a few of the angels watching over us today. I can't even express how thankful we we were for the awesome Caltrans worker who promptly rescued us off the Bay Bridge and took us to a tire shop after he called several for us to find the correct size. We were needing a miracle and Mr AJLB & the crew at Robert's Tires pulled it off... Above and beyond to all involved!! We could not have done it without all of those angels along the journey. Thanks to them we made it to the airport in time. You guys ROCK!!

I ve been going to Robert s since 2020, and will only go to him as long as it s my choice. He and his team absolutely knows what they re doing when it comes to wheels and tires, and will handle your car with care. Robert is also the most fair, honest and trustworthy person you ll meet in the business, and the fact that his shop has been around for more than 40 years should tell you a lot. So glad I found him!

I had a flat tire. I changed my tire and my spare was also going flat.I was desperate to find a place that could at least fill my spare tire because all of the gas station air pumps are garbage.Google found Roberts tires for me and I am so glad that it did. I got a full set of tires for $600 for my 2012 Accord. They're kind of an off brand but according to the owner, perfectly reliable. This is more than $200 cheaper than Costco because Costco only carries four brands. I would absolutely go to Robert's tires for every other car I ever own in the future. What a gem!

I visited Robert s Tire and Wheels (986 Harrison Street) for the the first time today and it was a very pleasant experience. Upon arrival, I spoke to the owner of the business, Robert, who was very friendly and easy to work with. Robert has been in business in the Bay Area since 1979. In addition to the obvious, selling tires and wheels, Robert s also offers several mechanical repairs ranging from belts and hoses to cooling system repairs. When I initially visited before the repairs took place, Robert asked, what was I in need of and how could he help. I m not an auto technician so my ability to explain the situation is that of a layman. Robert came out to the vehicle, inspected all four (4) tires, taught me about the age of a tire by finding the date on it, and mentioned the importance of wear and tear. I purchased four (4) brand new tires and a wheel alignment. Luckily, Robert s Tire and Wheels also offers coupons in their website. I was able to use a $60 off coupon. Robert a team changed my wheels and did the alignment in about 2 hours. Four new tires and a wheel alignment cost a little over $500 with the coupon which is fair. I m pleased with the quality of the work, and would encourage anyone in need of tires, wheels, or service to check out this business!

Very bad experience that replaced the tires but shop owner rejected to file warranty claims under tire manufacture's policy. Absolute no respect to policy and consumer's right. Will never come to this type of small tire shop anymore.

Thanks to the city of San Francisco and unmarked curbs, I bent a wheel. Robert s has great reviews, so I stopped in. He gave me an estimate, a little high for my blood, but I knew I could trust him.He ordered the new wheel, mounted it, aligned, the wheels, serviced it and, when I drove out, it handled like the new car I bought six years ago.To be fair, the wheel was the most expensive part. I m certain I could ve shopped the junkyards and found one cheaper, but I have the patience.To boil it all down, Robert has well earned my business.

Had a flat and needed it fixed ASAP. Stopped by and met Robert and the crew. Man, they're awesome! Super fast and super convenient. If you ever need tire help, this is the spot. Two thumbs up!

I took my truck to Robert & team for new tires, wheels, and a leveling kit. They did a beautiful job. It was quick, efficient, and the customer service was excellent. I highly recommend Robert & team!

I've been going to this shop for years both to buy tires and to repaint my rims from scratches against the curb. Very knowledgeable, reasonable prices but always excellent Service -- they never cheap out on anything. He also has a wide selection of tricked out rims if you want to upgrade.

I needed four new tires. I wanted all terrain. After calling four places I gave Robert a call. He was extremely professional and efficient. My tires were installed the next day within 4 hours at a much lower cost of all other dealers. For exceptional service, this is a no brainer. Can I rate them at 10?

Hate dealing anything to do with my car. Love this place. They make it so easy and best customer service. Changed all my tires here 4 months ago and one of the tires had a slow leak, I brought the car in and explained what was going on, they completely fixed it free of charge!

I planned to purchase from Costco, but Robert's was able to have tires the next day at the same price vs. 5 - 10 at Costco. Friendly service, and when I had to go home to find my lug nut key they were still able to get me out the door within a few hours. They also made sure that I had paperwork to claim an unanticipated rebate from Michelin.

Just bought a new set of tires here after having a good experience in the past with them fixing a leak. They were super fast and really nice. Checked my brakes and alignment and told me I didn't need either. I definitely appreciate their honesty instead of selling me something I didn't need. Highly recommend these guys!

Several years ago a friend recommended this place but at the time I didn't need tires. Now I needed tires and I happened to be talking with a different friend who suggested Roberts Tires. Since I had two separate recommendations I figured I couldn't go wrong. I wanted specific tires that he didn t have in stock. I liked that he didn t try to talk me into tires that he had in stock. Instead he just looked up the tires I wanted and quoted me a final price which included disposal, new valve stems, balancing etc. The tires arrived the following day and he did the install. Four tires, full alignment, great price and no hassles. I highly recommend.

I called 20 before showing up there, and they fixed my tired in less than 20 min. Everyone was really friendly and nice.Reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

How wrong I was! I expected a long wait, multiple repairs and services left and right, hidden charges popping up by the minute Nope! Robert and his team were quick, professional, explained the issue and the fix transparently. They restored my faith in the car repair pros category. Thank you! My go-to place in Bay Area.

These guys really know their performance tires and wheels. I bought a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S from them for my Porsche 911. Not a scratch after mounting them on the alloy wheels. After 2 years, one tire developed a slow leak due to a nail puncture. Robert fixed it - free of charge. Very satisfied experience. I highly recommend them.

I had to get one tire today, and I went to Robert's Tires and Wheels. The folks there were completely professional and did the work to my great satisfaction. I will definitely go there again in the future. The man that helped me was polite and walked me through the process. When I asked if I could get a Veteran's discount he took $10 off the total price which he did not have to do. Thanks for the quick service and know you have won a return customer.

When doing business, I'm old-fashioned and expect honesty, reliability, and quality plus a personal connection to someone with great expertise. If you're like me, Robert's is the place to get work on your tires and more. He also performed repairs on my drivetrain.

These guys do a great job on tires. Robert will order you whatever you want or need. They are a certified installer for the Tire Rack, but rather than save $10, I just order from Robert. Great location, no frills.

Bought a set of run flats for my mini.. Costco didn't carry them at the time. Fast and efficient service when they put it on. Great prices. Best in SF.Picked up a nail somewhere, Fixed the tires for FREE, in under 15 minutes. Did the work with a smile.8/23/09 Picked up another nail on the run flats, and they laughed at how I could pick up two nails in under a month. Fixed it again for free in under 15 minutes. They finished so fast, that i was into work at 8:30 still early.Great Service!!!

this is the best place in the city for tires, and they're fast and honest, which is the best thing!!! they offer a good warranty on all sets of 4 tires, plus they're very nice.edit #1: 1/5/19 i have a justified and verified complaint with the purchase of my tires, i plan on discussing this issue with the person in charge to determine a course of action. await my future inevitable update...

Great service which may be a little more than the mail order tire services, but worth the convenience. Brought my car in to replace a slashed tire and my trunk was a mess of tools and wheel parts from changing the tire. Not only were they able to procure an out of stock within hours, they also put the spare tire, jack and tools away in my trunk when they finished the work. Very professional and I would trust any car of any value with them.

Greatest place for tires and service! Everyone that works there is wonderful - all have been there 20+ years as I know it! Really reasonable, fast, nice, respectful, clean shop and EASY PARKING in the back! One of the best SF all time!
