These guys are excellent and I have been going here for upward of 15 years. They are honest, efficient and work hard. They are set up to do straightforward maintenance and that is where they shine: oil change, wheel rotation, smog check. If your car needs a bit of maintenance, you can trust these guys. Call the head guy Mike to see if they're busy and you will be in an out, spit spot!

Knowledgeable and honest. They took me with no appointment and were able to help me with a problem right away. Highly recommend. I am from out of the area and was visiting my daughter in SF.

Come here for the cheap gas, not the subpar service. Don't even bother trying to get a smog check here if you have a car that seems a hint "modified." The people here were so frightened by some gold foil around the intake airbox that they wouldn't even consider testing it. They said "it's not worth it for $50."

I came here to get my car fix because when I am driving it, it was shaking. They did not fix the problem. They told me there was something wrong with the breaks and insisted I had to replace the break and very aggressive. They also wanted to replace the battery when I knew the battery was just fine. Please please please avoid this place. They will milk you and try to get as much as they can. I hope you get to read this review before taking your car here. The problem continued and I have to bring my car at Ed's Mechanics on Harrison and 6th Street....I know I will have to pay more but at least I know the person is honest.Service: Brakes

I use them every time I need an oil change. They run through a check list, making sure everything is good to go. They actually show you the air filter, so you know they are not trying to pull a fast one. It's more expensive, but saving time is more important to me. You can always find a digital coupon and save $10-$15.

Absolutely horrible experience, brought my own bulb for the rear lamp of my car and was charged $25 for labor even though it took him 2 minutes. Icing on the cake was when he said he only replaced one side and not the other - when I kindly asked him to do the other side he asked me if I want to pay $25 again for the other side, that s when I took my keys, gave him his money, and walked away. Don t care about treating customers right or being fair in their approach. Never stepping foot here again, try to avoid - the 76 across the street, however, the guy was able to replace my bulb for free. Good people matter!

5star for the help.I didn t had any repair or service done. But right after filling gas my car won t start. These guys refused to work on my German car as they mostly work on Japanese cars. Understandable.They helped me push it out of the way. I found blown fuse 20a for fuel pump and car fires right up. They gave me a fuse for free. Great, thank you guys.But car dies right when I got on the street. They saw it and came out to the road and helped push it back again. I put a slightly higher fuse 25a, again free from them. Drove car safely all the back home (60miles). Now I ll have it checked by my mechanic.Sorry I didn t got their names but You guys helped me out of troubled situation.Truly Honest and genuine helpful people.

Highly recommended.... Honest people and reasonable prices. I asked for an oil change and tire rotation and they recommended I postpone the rotation. Seedier businesses would have taken my money.The awesome mechanic also gave me some pointers and fixed an issue that has been screwing with my car for the past few months.

I dropped in late on a weekend for a smog check without an appointment and was seen quickly without an appointment. Straightforward service. Check their website for any coupons.

Very competent and courteous service at low cost prices. Have been taking my cars there for quite a few years and can't imagine changing garages. Sometimes bicycle lane is blocked by people trying to purchase gasoline in the adjacent, but unrelated gasoline sales business. Have watched people making unreasonable demands for service and the Quality personnel maintain a professional stance. Even saw one man drive away without paying his bill and he was not treated harshly during the discussion, although the police were called after he drove away.

Bad explanation about service. They don t close at 5. They close at 4:30. They say the machine is down and coke tomorrow instead of saying.Hey! Don t come after 4:30 we don t want to work.

Had my oil changed for $32 in less than 30 min. Watched him do the work. Very efficient would recommend for a fast cheap oil change.

Very cheap,professional and fast for the simple maintenance works, I ve been changing my oil and did my smog check there since more than 3 years and never waited more than 40 minutes!

Quick service. In and out for engine and transmission oil change in 30 mins. Cheap prices too and they use standard quality oils.

Terrible. The guy said 45 min to do my smog. Then they took 75 minutes. And there was no one in front of me. Another worker on his phone in the back of the shop smoking.
