I knew I shouldn t have tried to do it myself but thankfully Paul was able to squeeze me in to their busy schedule to replace the battery terminals AND not only that!: He went the extra mile redoing what I had done myself very poorly the day before and I hadn t even asked him to do it but he saw that it needed to be redone!Paul and the gang at Pacific auto are the absolute best and what they charge is very very reasonable!THANK YOU PAUL ONE MORE TIME!!!!!

My car was PNO for 3 years and I needed a smog. Failed the first time cos apparently I needed to drive my car for at least 50 miles after changing the battery to start the OBDII meter. Came back after 62 miles and Paul checked my car instantly and gave me a discount for the 2nd test. Both visit took me less than 30 minutes with no appointment. Highly recommend!

Have used them a couple of times for tire repairs. They are quick, generally no wait times to get an appointment. The car was in and out in less than an hour. Honest pricing. Would highly recommend them.

We were just leave for Tahoe and got a tire pressure warning so stopped at the gas station nearby. We we're feeling fine about it cause visibly the tires looked fine but we thought we should at least add more air to the tire or talk to the auto body shop that was across the street. We went over, told them the situation and they helped us right away by filling up air in the tires and letting us know it looks good to go. Even though this was such a small task it gave us some peace of mind that we got it checked by a professional and we could get back to our road trip fast. And once we got back in the car on our way, the warning light shut off!!! Anyway thank you Soo much for the quick and fast help, felt like we were getting helped by neighbors we have known for years!

I came in for an oil change. It was nice they were able to quickly accommodate my appointment, especially since it was hard to schedule with other auto bodies first.They also used synthetic oil for my Mercedes which is good too.

I just took my car to Pacific Auto Works SF for a smog check. The service is great, and the price is very reasonable. Thank you Paul for totally taking care of me once again. It's so wonderful to have mechanics you can trust to do great work, treat you really nicely, and charge excellent prices! Highly recommend this auto shop!

Brought the car in. Walked through exactly what was needed to do. They gave me a time frame. Came back. They thoroughly explained, and showed everything. Very happy with quality of service, and attention to detail! Will definitely go back.UPDATE EDIT: Went there again today. Will be going here from now on. If I m able.Also I will definitely, and anyone reading this should go here for second opinions, if you have any doubt. Had the best experience with any mechanic (Repairing an out of town incident, I will not mention the details as it makes all mechanics look bad.) I took the mistake into pacific auto-works, I think the service technicians name is paul. The way he handle a very difficult situation is admirable. Will definitely be going back here from now on. He had me back on the road driving what was a nightmare from that terrible person, is now perfect again! I would love to say a whole lot more, just know, I am extremely happy with you! And thankful. You are a much appreciated and a valued individual to me!

I take my 200,000+ mile Jeep Grand Cherokee here for all its needs and Paul always takes care of me. This shop is trustworthy and does a great job for a great price. You don t have to be afraid of being a female getting ripped off at pacific auto works. Whether it s oil changes or problems with my transfer case, he always takes care of me and calls with professionalism. Thanks so much Paul!

My vehicle was towed to Pacific Auto Works because of battery and alternator issues. One of the pleasant aspects of Pacific Auto Works is that they are open on weekends (Saturday only) until 5:00 pm which is not a normal thing for most repair shops. I googled over thirteen (13) shops in San Francisco and Pacific was one of two businesses open. Despite closing at 5 pm, I spoke with Paul (manager) who agreed to wait an additional 10 minutes for my tow truck to arrive. Once unloaded off the tow, Paul quickly filled out paperwork and promised to call me on Monday. Paul called on Monday, explained the issues and agreed to hold my vehicle until Tuesday so I could commute into the city to pick it up. Ill be honest, i m not an auto professional, like many, i m at the mercy of the shop and hope to not be ripped off. I didn t fell like I was being taken advantage of and the price seemed consistent with my google search. Pacific Auto also had coupons on their website which helped. Hopefully my vehicle was fixed correctly, but, I felt good leaving the shop.

I brought my Camry in to have the engine oil & filter changedand also have the smog check done for renewing my car'sregistration. Estimate was about $100.Job got done within about 2 hours as promised, but themechanics found a small oil leak around the valve cover gasket.My daughter had wanted to use the car for college this fall, so Idecided to go ahead and have that fixed too (est was anextra $140 parts & labor - a few extra hours of time).It all got done and everything seems to be working OK.Total bill was about $250.I would definitely recommend this place to my friends forany work on their cars.Services: Electrical repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Brakes, Auto maintenance, Emissions testing, Oil change

We have used Pacific Auto Works on several occasions for both of our two cars and have always been very impressed by the service. They deliver what they say, on time and at the estimated cost. We have never had to go back because something wasn't quite right.

Had nothing but a great experience with Pacific Auto Works. Went there, literally, by choosing from a google search because I needed a Gold Smog and my regular mechanics didn't do that. My car failed the first time b/c its memory had been wiped by a dead battery. Paul, the owner, explained it to me, didn't charge me, and told me how to restore it. I did, I came back, it was done in 15 minutes. I then asked about a dead rear tail light. In five minutes he opened it up, replaced 3 dead or near-burnt-out bulbs, closed it up, and said "just remember me next time."I will. Great service, good explanations, and good pricing.

Brought in my out-of-state vehicle for a smog check and they told me it failed, saying I would need to pay $120 for a diagnostic to determine which repairs they needed to make. Went to another smog station and the emission measurements were as much as 9 times lower, easily passing. This shop is dishonest and will try to scam you if you let them.

Excellent job from these guys. We had car trouble on the Bay Bridge and limped into their shop. They were able to fix our car in a day for a fair price. Would definitely go back.

Went in because we had a tire pressure icon lighting up on our dashboard. They couldn't find any holes in the tires and just put more air inside them. Not very fast or friendly people, but no major complaints either.

Picked up a screw in my tire. Went to Pacific Auto works for the first time and was extremely pleased. Fast service and the price was right! Highly recommend.

I was travelling to San Francisco when I noticed a problem with my wheel bearing. I got there right before they closed and they diagnosed it for me and fixed it the next day. Very professional and kind, reasonable price for the repair, and they got it done that day. I highly recommend these mechanics

Really fast service during my lunch break for a smog check. In and out in 15-20 min. May not be the cheapest but it is STAR certified and fast
