Told me my brand new car battery was dead. I wasted all afternoon trying to get it fixed on a Sunday when everything was closed. Only to realize in the end there was nothing wrong with my battery. So much for having a relaxing weekend. Almost left it at the dealer which would have cost me hundreds of dollars and hours of time getting home and back.

For the most part, I've had nothing bad to say about O'Reilly's. The folks at my local store have always been helpful with my needs. The thing I don't like is when they don't have common things like ball joints or shocks in stock. They have to either order or transfer from another store and I'm sitting around not being productive.

Total richards and said i cant work on my van in their parking lot because i live in it while they came and helped other customers fix their cars and i was just performing a much needed tuneup on a 55yr old van like my Father taught me to do when you buy any used vehicle. I spent $600 there and they called the police even though i was done and leaving. Thanks for insulting and belittling me in front of the entire store and employees when i was playing nice and packing up and leaving mr. O'Riley jr. Manager...

The parking garage is awesome! That's the only part I really saw while my friend ran in and bought a new battery to replace the one that died on him. He also dropped off a dead motorcycle battery for me.

Can t believe that reputable national brands sell illegal products like license plate covers. You should be ashamed of profiting off helping people break the law. Avoiding tolls, red light cameras, hit and runs

I'm reviewing the parts store. The shelves are scarce and the help seemed zombified. But they had most of what I needed.

Mansplained when asking a simple question about whether a bracket exists for screwing in bottom of license plate frame. Was told by one of the 4 men standing at the counter, in a condescending voice, to ask a neighbor if they could drill a hole for me. Yikes! I won t go back again. I have a drill, and I m even able to use it despite being a woman.

I came right before closing and the guy working behind the counter was sure to remind me .. over and over they were closing soon... I only needed one item but decided not to buy it from them just based on the rushing and rudeness... O well.

This is the only auto part store in the area so if you need something look no further. The guys here are fairly knowledgeable and have helped me out on numerous occasions. They will also run a diagnostic scan on your car free of charge along with services like testing your battery. If you having problems with your car don t be shy to ask.

I got there about 5 minutes to closing one night and was in need of transmission fluid and I got one young male associate he told me what I needed and I asked if he could show me the exact one and he walked away from me so I was stuck not knowing which one and so I brought two up there and asked which one he said neither and walked away again. That was the worst customer service ever I will only got to Auto-zone.

(Posted from Yelp)On the 3rd day of our five day family road trip driving up from Tustin CA, we stopped by to take pictures of the wondrous Golden Gate Bridge. Our very reliable 2011 Toyota Sienna van suddenly broke down and had a problem starting up-it seemed like a battery issue. Since we bought the battery at O Reilly, we were able to get it jump-started and limped there to get it checked out. Upon arriving at O Reilly, our van completely died and would not start.O Reilly Manager Sean brought out a battery meter to check the condition of the battery, and found that our battery had been drained because the alternator gave out. With his help, he replaced our battery, got us a new alternator, and arranged to have to the alternator replaced at a local dependable trusted mechanic (a shout-out to Dennis at California Auto Repair-reasonable prices and professional!). We made the repair and were able to seamlessly and confidently continue with our family vacation road trip.Without O Reilly Manager Sean s assistance, our road trip would ve been a time-wasted, stressed-out, and expensive disaster getting our van repaired. Manager Sean, with his no BS attitude and professionalism went above and beyond helping out my family with our van troubles. I also knew his friendly, understanding and helpful character wasn t a fluke, because as we were waiting inside the busy shop, I observed that he acknowledged and personally greeted every customer that walked in as if they were his close friends! Thanks again Manager Sean at O Reilly!!!!

Unfortunately, even though they had my motorcycle battery in stock, the employee was rude and didn't seem interested in answering my questions, then hung up on me. Sad.Guess I'll take my business and $$ elsewhere.

If you shop here, avoid Nick. Today I called about windshield wipers. He immediately tried to upsell me. I asked if they could be installed when I bought them. He was waffle-y in his response. When I courteously asked for his name he hung up! I arrived at the store a few minutes later and he was the same person (same exact accent). After buying the wipers he tried to install them but kept having problems with installing them. The driver-side wiper didn t lie flat against the glass. I asked him to remove both so that I could get other wipers. He said he couldn t do that and mentioned needing tools. (What?! He didn t need tools to put them on )Nick said that wipers need to be replaced every 6 months. Really??I asked the assistant manager for another technician. Jacky volunteered. Fortunately Jacky didn t need any special tools, just his hands and his wits, to put the original wipers back on.

I bought a set of tools to lap the valves. However, the suction cup is plastic instead of rubber. The suction cup does not stick to the valve and the two tools are unusable.Checking the merchandise before selling it should be a basic rule for a good seller ...

Called to order a new battery for my car. After telling me a bunch of information I was barely understanding the guy was so rude he asked me to summarize what he had just said when I asked if he had the battery in stock. I m not a battery specialist. I just need a new battery. Needles to say I bought my battery elsewhere.

I have been coming here for over 10 years. This location is very well stocked and the employees are well trained. Excellent customer service. Sometimes the weekends can get busy, but the crew keeps the line moving. Highly recommended.

Came here to get a part color matched, which was something they listed they could on their website, but unfortunately an employee told me they can t do this in any California locations. I was also hoping to find scratch fixing pens, but they had very limited selection

Service keeps getting better and better at both SF stores. Employees are generally knowledgeable and will assist customers to a fault. Occasionally understaffed to assist all unskilled in-store and on-phone customers with complex issues. Generally have all you would expect in a well-stocked store. What they don't have they can usually get within a day. They have a very generous tool-lending service and fairly reasonable prices. Also, convenient late and weekend hours.

I have been a customer for this place for more than seven years. I went there today to buy a battery for my car. I started the process of pricing with the cashier. He informed me that he can deduct $18 from the total price if I give him my old battery. I asked if someone can help me taking off my old battery, the cashier said no we don't do that with an angry way and raise his voice. I asked him why you are angry. He said because you asked me twice. I don't think that was a good reason to make him talk to me like that. The other cashier heard us talk and started talking. I thought he will come to apologize about the way the other cashier was talking to me, but unfortunately he repeated that the reason his coworker talked to me in an angry way was because I asked him twice and he added that they sell the tools to take off the battery. That was very disappointing to me to be treated that way after being a seven years returned customer. Then, I canceled the battery purchase and went to autozone shop. I bought a better battery for a cheaper price. Also, they offered me $25 discount. They also deduct $22 from the price and took my old battery. The cashiers were very nice and professional. They took off my old battery and installed the new one. Thumps up to autozone. Thank you autozone for being helpful and professional.
