I visited MotoTireGuy on 10/01/22 and had a great 1st experience. I only brought my wheels and tires. Turk was friendly. I recently visited again 02/29/24 and I can honestly not recommend this place. Wade single-handedly ruined the paint on my wheels. Do yourself a favor and just stay away.

I called in to make an appointment, unfortunately I was a bit late because my tire picked up a nail. Robbie is the man!! He said it was okay, safer than sorry. He immediately got to work and swapped my tire in less than 20minutes. He balanced my tire and mounted it, adjusted the chain and even cleaned it! WOW! Second to none, perfect customer service!

A+. This is my 2nd time coming to the MotoTireGuy shop in San Francisco. I think they have great prices. I ordered my tires via their Revzilla link on their page. My tires were shipped directly to them. When they arrived I got an appointment the same day they were delivered. WADE took care of me with quality work & good conversation. It was ride-in service for my 2019 BMW 1250 GS, which cost me $150 via Venmo.

Competent + Convenient = PerfectExcellent setup for motorcycle tire changes. You order the tires online, have them sent directly to Robbie, he calls when they get in, you stop by and have you new tires installed while you wait. Could not be more professional or easier.

Robbie has been taking great care of me for a long time and I went to visit him again today. Had front and rear tires mounted and balanced in no time. Still the best in town!

Quick, easy, affordable. Was able to get a same day appointment when my tires arrived. Friendly staff, completed the change really quick at less than half the rates of another spot in the city. Really content with my experience.

I shipped my new tires directly and got a phone call the day they arrived and had them changed the same day. It only took about 30 minutes to change both tires and clean the chain. The price was very reasonable as I had services from quite a few places in SF.He is awesome in giving me genuine advice on the tire pressure and chain maintenance. Highly recommended for tire services!

If you need tires swapped on your motorcycle just go here. He's got great stories and is quick and efficient. Money well spent for something simple but very difficult if you don't have the skills and tools.

Robbie provides great service at reasonable prices. Get your tires mounted by him! Also, when you buy tires you can ship them directly to him and just bring in your bike or your wheels for the work. Simple, easy, quick and high quality.Alas, Robbie has passed away unexpectedly. I don't know whether anyone has taken over his business.

The service I received from Robbie was outstanding. He was helpful, made great recommendations, contacted me immediately when the tires were delivered to his shop, and promptly installed them when I arrived for my appointment. Robbie could teach many small business owners the importance of customer service. I'll be recommending him to all of my riding buddies.

What an awesome service provided. I rode in from Chicago and I knew that I would need tires so I ordered them online and contacted Robbie who is very informative. He was very accommodating with my schedule changing a few times. Price was good and he is very fast. Thanks again.

The owner was awesome! He knows what he is doing and he is well versed on all things related or attached to your motorcycle tire. It was my first time inlisting his services to put on my new S22s and it was a very pleasant experience all around. I'll be coming back for sure. Thanks Rob!

The MotoTireGuy is the best! Rode the bike in and with the time to install the tire, set chain slack, and even give me a tip about clutch freeplay, Robbie had me back out on the road in just under 20 minutes. Prices are very fair/competitive and personally i just like supporting the local independent over the franchise dealerships. Especially with this kind of service! I've found my new tire installer. Thats it.Thanks again MotoTireGuy!

Robbie always comes through and is looking out for the best interest/safety of the rider. I've been going to Robbie for over 5 years & when he installs a tire he knows exactly what he is doing. Online tire ordering is easy and even with the cost savings you get a top quality tire installation. 100% trust in his work.

I started going here when Robbie was working out of his garage, always top service. RIP.The new guy was an hour behind schedule, couldn't see, and had to ask the guy before me what way he should mount the tire. This customer also had a Tire Pressure Monitor and told the installer.My turn. Same tire rim combo as the previous costumer. I tell him that I too have Tire Pressure Monitors. He breaks mine 1 minute later. He also can't tell which way to mount the tire and asks me what direction the tire should go.The new owner said he would pick up the parts and fix their mistake.Then Covid shut the Bay Area down. 3 months later, I had the dealer fix the monitor to the tune of $310.00I have not heard back from the new owner, and am currently looking for another shop to change my tires.

Great guy! fast and easy service. Great price, love how he reminded me to take it easy the first 30 miles and turns with the new tires. Will be doing business there again! Had my tires changed on my 2008 cbr600rr.

This place is under new ownership after the original owner passed away recently, it s not the moto tire guy everyone knows. Took over 2.5 hours to change my tires even though I had an appointment and he took my bike in and started working immediately when I arrived.I was not provided with a written estimate of work or a receipt at any point which I don t think is legal.However all of that is forgivable and would not have resulted in me writing a negative review. The reason this is 1 star is the front wheel was reinstalled incorrectly resulting in the brake rotor slicing through my wheel speed and abs sensor wiring within a few miles of leaving the shop. This required expensive replacement wiring and a trip to the dealer to reset the check engine light, all in all costing me much more than the entire trip to Moto Tire Guy. See pictures attached.And you may ask why didn t I bring the bike back to moto tire guy and ask them to fix it or refund me? If a motorcycle tire shop can t reinstall a motorcycle wheel correctly then I certainly don t trust them to do any further work on my bike, for my safety.

Robbie is a really nice guy, I recommend him highly. I changed my front tire myself, but couldn't get it to seat properly, so I went to him. He fixed the issue, checked the air pressure on the other tire as well, and pointed out a problem with my chain. He charged $20.

First time trying out this shop and I will never go anywhere else again. Rob met me at the door, introduced himself and shook my hand, taking the rim and tire from me. I told him my needs, he made a couple of recommendations and actually explained that I could save $20 off his price, and the web address to order at online. I didn't expect that kind of honesty. He had the parts I needed in stock, the place is spotless, VERY professional and thorough-explaining my inner tube sizing and why tire pressures should rarely be as high as the recommended PSI on the tire or set by the oem. In and out in less than 15 minutes, no stress or waiting around. Don't waste your time trying out other tire shops, Rob is THE Man!

I went to Mototire guy a few times when the original owner was there (RIP), and had great experiences: fast service, cheap prices, quality work.However, this was not the case on my recent service, and I really, really hesitated to write this, but after reading a recent review which said his tire was installed incorrectly, I'm realizing this could be a safety issue.After getting 2 tires installed on my bike, I went for a ride, and a very aggressive one, with lots of twists and turns. After some hairy moments, where the bike felt very squirrelly and "off", I decided to take a look.The rear wheel was not mounted correctly. What I mean is, it was crooked/unaligned. On one side, the axle block was flush with the chain slack adjuster (good), and on the other side, there was a huge open gap between the axle block and the adjuster (bad).At the time, I was kind of irritated, but I didn't want to piss in the waters of the motorcycle community, and I support good small businesses. But after reading the review someone posted about 3 weeks ago, complaining about an improper re-install, I think it's actually a safety issue.All I want to say is, if you decide to go here, watch the work, and check your bike thoroughly afterwards.I would recommend that you just pay extra and go to motojava or desmoto, with a higher degree of assurance that the work will be done correctly, and you won't be in for any unexpected surprises.

Carried in both tires, quick in and out. He is very conscious of what you need, professional. Easy to get to location and no parking issues if you're not riding to him. Will be back the next time I need to replace my tires.

Only reason I'm not rating 5 stars is i was setup for 5pm and didn't leave here till 8:30pm. Had to wait over 2.5hrs to get my bike serviced on an appointment. They need to work on their scheduling a little better.

Very profesional. The whole "drop shipping" concept saved me over the cost to get them mounted on my bike. I was in and out of there in no time. He went out of the way to show me my mistakes, chain to tight, crack in one of the carrier pins and the carrier. He may have even saved my life. For that I am grateful.

Really quick, knowledgeable service. I ordered my tires delivered to the shop, and rode in a couple of days later for my appointment. Tires were changed and I was riding away in only 40 minutes!

I've gone to Mototireguy for over 8 years and have never been disappointed. Best price in town, especially if you buy and ship your tires to him as a preferred installer.

The rear tire of my Thruxton 1200 picked up a screw. Robbie setup an appointment the same day. He helped me unload the trailer and replaced the tube within 30 minutes. He also setup a lawn chair in the sun for my GF while she waited for me to garage the trailer. The same week Robbie replaced the front and rear tire on my Triumph 1050

5 star service. They were very friendly and nice. They swap my rim very quickly. I recommend everyone in the bay area to visit this shop to fix their tire.
