It was a giant pain previously to have to bring my car to MB when it was still in the city-proper. Now that they're on Gellert with a much bigger space and I work with an awesome advisor (Natalia), it's the only place I go to when something comes up. I did have one issue pop up when Natalia was on PTO but another service advisor (Aly) came to my rescue. She managed to get my car in for an important brake fix and back on the road in time for my son's athletic competition. If you're a woman MB owner and car enthusiast, I highly recommend connecting with Natalia or Aly - they're super friendly and knowledgeable about what goes into the work needed on your car and get things moving.

I came into the service department to have a water leak examined because I didn t know where it came from they wanted to charge me (4) hours of labor; kept my car for two days and then ran my car through the car wash (why would you send a car that s leaking water compromised) I am beyond ticked off the clean up cost me big $$$$ for the water intrusion

They do solid work, no complaints there, but man they are so expensive. The customer service, in person and by phone, is great if you have a straightforward request (e.g. an annual service). However I have found that if you have questions about whether they can do repairs that extend beyond the norm, including what would be involved with the repair, much it will cost, or how long it will take, I have gotten the run around multiple times. I don't think it was intentional - it sounded more like there was a lack of internal communication and follow up.

I had my car towed to this location due to flat tire. I was told they they don't honor my extended warranty. I asked the tow company to take it to another location. The service representative said she will ask them to bring the car to the front. I waited for 30 minutes so i went to ask where is my car then she said i will go and get it now. Why did she say i will ask somebody to bring your car to the front when there was no one available. I will never go to this.dealership. Lousy service . The tow truck left.already so i had to leave my car overnight. It's now 6pm.

I would like to express my disappointment in your services. It is just laughable to how bad you treat your clients. Here is the saga of my experience with you, truly horrible. ->(June 29) I dropped off a Smart car last Thursday (July 29) at 7:30am. The person who I talked to was William Soo. He told me that I would have an update either the same day or on Friday July the 30th.(July 1) I didn't hear back and I called on Saturday (July 1). The person that responded the phone told me that they would ask the technicians and call me back. Nobody called me back.(July 5) I came to the store to ask about the status of the car. They told me that they don't know yet and I will have a call either that day or the next day. Nobody called.(July 6) I called to check on the status they told me that they don't know yet and I will have a response either the same day or the next day. Nobody called.(July 8) I came to the store to ask about the status of the car. They told me that I should have a response on Monday (July 10).(July 10) The didn't call back.(July 11) I called to check in on the status. They told me that they are going to call back. They did call back! And they told me that for the 2017 Smart Car EV that I have that the "control unit" broke and that I'll have to pay $14K for that part and that it isn't part of the battery insurance because "it isn't the actual battery but it is on top of the battery". They told me that they can't help and that I'll have to call Mercedes USA to escalate. I called Mercedes USA to escalate and they created a ticket number for me. They told me they will call back in 24-48hours.(July 14) Mercedes USA hasn't called back..The way I have been treated shows me that you don't value your customer's time and your processes and promises aren't to be trusted.

Dealership has reasonably priced maintenance services. Loaner car has to be reserved weeks in advance. Otherwise they will arrange Uber if you need a ride. Unlike other Mercedes dealerships in the area they only wash your car after repairs and do not vacuum. That is a minor shortcoming of the overall customer experience here.

Couldn't be happier with service here. Alessandra is easy to work with and gets stuff done. When Mercedes Benz moved to South City, it is still worth the drive to have reliable and exceptionally great service! Thank you. We will always remain loyal to Mercedes Benz of San Francisco.

Not recommending this location for your car service. I have Benz SUV bought from SF Benz dealer couple years before. Since car has couple issues needed to be checked and repaired, I called service center 2 weeks before my appointment. Through the phone call for setting an appointment, I told them my car have 2 or 3 issues need to be checked and my car is probably not in warranty. The customer also checked the system and found my car information. She confirmed all information I provided. She said diagnosis is $250. I told her I need to check 2 or 3 items of my car, will it be still $250? . The lady didn t answer my question, yes one diagnosis is $250 . Then I asked can I get courtesy car for driving back even though my car has been purchased years ago?, She said, yes, we can have loan/courtesy for you on appointment day . Then we set up appointment. On appointment day, I went to the service center at Folsom st, the staff lady said 3 items diagnosis is $650 and there is no courtesy car for you since your car is over 5years after purchase. It is ridiculous and got me frustrated. They didn t mention it on the phone and also the lady confirm the price for diagnosis. They also said they would provide courtesy car for me. If you can not do what you said, please do what you only can do. Don t even trick customer. Be honest and professional. Will not go this place for my car next time. Google friend, Better to choose another dealers for your car.

Can verify that this dealership is not welcoming to new customer. Very rude and don t want your business. We should bring this to Mercedes Benz attention and replace the team here.

This dealership is very dodgy:1. See attached, my car, which I bought in for the 2year service. The car only had 5,186 miles on it.They charged me for a 20,000 miles tune up. I did NOT request a 20,000 miles tune up. The service rep did all this. She is awful. I was then transferred to a Henry after complaining to Sal. Just as bad. No loaner car even though I had made the appointments a month ahead. And the ridiculous maintenance cost:The first year, I brought my car in for the 10,000 miles or 1 year, they charged me over $1000 (?) then 2 years and charged for a 20,000 miles service ? I had never left that place with under $1000 in service.2. I finally went to another Mercedes dealership. Night and day.Do NOT go to this dealership for ANYTHING. Total rip off. The service mechanics are great people, it's the service reps (forgot her name - incompetent), to the finance lady Katrina, service manager Sal, sales team,... RIP OFF!

My G-550 was recalled as the back seat latches could fail. I made an appointment to drop it off, about a two week waiting period. The day after I dropped it off, they called stating someone stole my car keys and that I had to bring to them my spare key. They did not offer to come to me to get the key. They didn t really seem to care much about it. I was dismissed by the manager (I guess that was his title he never disclosed to me his position.). He didn t seem to care either. The key chain, which I was told to leave in my car, had my recently deceased pets ID on it. It meant a lot to me. It also contained my address and phone number. The manager told me, It s your fault for having your address on your keys. He told me that I was to blame. This is the second MB I ve owned. I can t express what a huge disappointment this dealer is. I don t think anyone cared and they all just seemed to avoid me. I can t in good conscience recommend them at all. They did replace the keys and lock. I ll add that I mentioned the thief has my address and will probably come to my house to see if the key works. The manager again said that was my fault.

I booked my appointment a month before and requested for loaner car because I know for rattle noise will take a long time to diagnose. I got a call from the service department to confirm my appointment which is good and I double confirm that will there be a loaner car for me and she stated Yes. When I show up to SSF Mercedes, the Service Adviser told me directly, we don t have loaner for you today. I told the Adviser, I already reconfirmed with yesterday there will be a loaner for me today. The adviser told me we don t have it and if you need it you can make another appointment. What????? I make the appointment a month ago and you want me to make another one???My car was still under extended warranty and will be expired in a month. So I proceeded without loaner, however, I was told since my car is under the extended warranty, so if the issue is not under warranty I need to pay for diagnostic which cost $275 per hour, in additional since they don t have any record on my car it might take longer time for the diagnostic. What?????? I bought my car from San Francisco Mercedes certified program and you told me you don t have any record, how s your certified program work. The whole approach from the adviser was so unprofessional, didn t receive any advice. I took off from SSF Mercedes without any service .

I don t think I ve ever been treated so well at a car dealership. Their fulsome Street facility operates add an unbelievable high standard. Everything s like clockwork . Everything so organized and neat and clean you think they were building something for NASA :-) even the mechanics are friendly and frank my advisor looks like he could juggle 10 cars at once. Thank you all for your dedication

Absolutely the worst customer service I can ever remember. I regret ever walking into that place. Yeah I did buy a car but only because I wanted that car they tried to rip me off first long story I won't get into it but just so you know. And after I bought the car the customer service was so unbelievably bad. Every aspect of it absolute worst people to deal with ever. Except for the receptionist lady at the desk when you first walk in she was very nice and polite. As for the rest of them lying manipulating conniving thieves I wouldn't send my worst enemy there.

I give it 2 stars, since they are great when your car is under the normal 4 year / 48k mile Mercedes warranty. I was shocked to find out when it expired and the CPO kicked in, they want $250 to investigate any issues. So if you have some kind of error code, then $250 makes sense. If you don't and an issue is intermittent, you pay the money for them to basically do a scan, say they found nothing, and then take a hike.My SA was pretty straight forward about this, which I appreciate. In general I'd say if your car is out of the main manufacturer warranty, find a different place.

$465 for a standard service is criminal. The associate notified that the car would be ready later in the day, the website says the service center closes at 6PM. I called at 5:45, closed. The staff didn t notify me of new hours with COVID, and now we re without a car over the weekend during a pandemic. I would not recommend this service center.

Very knowledgeable, and has a genuine concern for you and your vehicle. They solve any problem, and address any and all concerns. Quick service, and depending on your need for a vehicle along with some other information they will give you a loaner til they are able to give you your vehicle back. Or a courtesy shuttle/ride

I called in this morning to pick up my car after brining it in for service. Mr. Frank Lemus told me that my car will be ready by 2:30.I arrived at 2:30, but my car was not ready.I was told that in another ten, fifteen minutes it would be ready. But it was not. And then again I was told another ten fifteen minutes and so I ended up waiting over an hour. Since the waiting rooms was closed (because of Covid-19) I had to stand in service area waiting and waiting. You would think the manager at this point would notice a client waiting, he did not and did not apologize for the delay. In fact, I had to introduce myself to the manager and complained about the delay. He did not acknowledge my presence and was sitting in his chair without any sense of being concerned. With an indifferent tone he said he was sorry, but he was not interested to know about my situation and he did not know why I was waiting for. so I realized that my time being wasted talking to him and requested the the name of his superior. His name Isarmin Zipperle.Overall, a terrible customer service experience. I cannot believe this level of service from an official dealership/service station.

Absurdly poor value ... it qualifies for thievery! for my 2017 Metris they quoted $800 + taxes for an A service. That is an oil change + checking washer fluid + air tire pressure. The mechanic I went to charged $230 (including taxes) but he was not able to reset the service warning message. So I call Mercedes and they said: sure we could do it, just bring the receipt for the oil service. Brought the Metris in and it turns out they want $100 to reset the warning message. Another costumer jokingly said that it "is the price of admission" and suggested I look on the Web. Sure enough I found the instructions, and after 10' of clicking on the the front panel I was able to reset the warning message. So ... let's see ... if it takes me 10' it would take the mechanic who does it every day 1'? 2"? Let's say it takes 5'. $100 for five minutes of work is $1200 an hour. Thievery indeed.

I went in to get a recalled airbag replaced for "free," and they wanted $236 to reset the srs light first. That is literally just plugging in a scanner and hitting reset. As a result i declined the service so am driving around with a recalled airbag when resetting a dashboard warning light should be a courtesy if associated with a recall.

Awesome people! I came in to service my Mercedes-Benz sprinter and the service manager Armin took personal care of me as if I was the most important person in his day. Then did everything he could to help me and save my money! What a pleasant surprise - a dealership that cares about you and saving your money.

Horribly busy and understaffed which makes the service advisor difficult to reach by phone. If you are a new Mercedes Benz owner, you won't learn very much here. The business has a new owner in 2021. They will be moving to a new location in South San Francisco. I hope I don't have to use this dealership for repairs going forward.

These people fill their pockets by feeding off of clueless Mercedes owners. When scheduling my appointment I was quoted $491 for my first year service, which included all usual fluid level checks and top offs, oil & filter replacement, tire rotation, brake pad inspections, etc. Once arriving and sitting down for my appointment, my "service advisor" pressed a bunch of buttons on his computer and told me it would cost over $1000. I questioned the disparity from what I was originally quoted and he fired back immediately by belittling the incompetence of the people answering the phones. Aren't you on the same team, guy? He told me he would help me out on the price because of this "confusion", I asked if he could match the quote, and he said he would try his best. I called the service department again that afternoon, spoke with a different person, asked for another quote, and received the same service details and $491 price. The next day my vehicle is done and I come by to pick it up and pay. My quote was matched which made me happy, but I realize several "detours" were made to do so, including the lack of checking brake pads and rotation of the tires. It's difficult to trust a repair shop that inflates it's prices to such a high degree, and skimps on its service when a Mercedes owner comes in asking for the quoted price. I just spent nearly $500 for someone to check and replace my fluid levels and oil filter.

Brought my C300 2009 for a SRS Recall Repair. They were awesome, super nice, got me an Uber to school and even gave me a free car wash! If I were living in SF, I'd bring my benz here anytime.
