This was one of the most pleasant experiences I ve had with a mechanic. Stephen was very clear in his communication, and I felt like he had my best interests in mind. He offered me the services I absolutely needed, and was honest about what additional things could be done but weren t required so I didn t overpay. Will be coming back in the future.

Called for an emergency repair and they were able to schedule me in next day. Steven is very communicative and professional. This place is a hidden gem. Thank you for your years of great service. Hands down the best. On top of doing extremely high quality auto work, Steven and his team are honest, responsive, and fairly priced. They originally solved an issue for me that the dealership couldn t: in the intervening several years of coming to Steven, I ve never once been disappointed. 10/10 recommend.

If a job is worth doing it s worth doing right the dudes at k & c go above and beyond. Steven was busy at the front desk but chose to use text to communicate. I was able to send pictures and get diagnosed with an estimate. My serpentine belt was about to break and again in my opinion . In a very professional, kind , and caring manner Steven made sure I was in the shop within a couple days. He even called me as soon as the part came in and offered to do it that day.If bed side manner was a thing in mechanics it exists here.Things have gone cold sometimes in the world and it s hard to find a business that makes you feel appreciated as a customer. It s a two way street I m very grateful for k&c and respect every bit of how they handled the business I brought to them.Pleasant vibrations despite being in troubled times. I've been going to Steven's shop for years now and I've had nothing but a positive experience. He's an honest mechanic and won't recommend unnecessary repairs unless they are truly warranted. He's very transparent and will often text you a photo of the part that needs to be replaced just so you can see for yourself. He's very flexible and on many occasions accommodated our last minute schedule in trying to get our VW in for a service. I wish they made more business owners like Steven.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto brake replacement

Stephen is great. He always gives me great advice and has competitive pricing! Highly recommend him and his business.He is very upfront with his timelines for getting things looked at and fixed but usually has time to get things looked at quickly. Also his documentation is outstanding every service he sends me photos and videos of everything that could be of interest and gives you a print out of everything he noticed.

Steven deserves my first ever Google review.Steven does a fantastic job. He s super honest, knowledgeable, and has insanely good prices. First time I came to Steven several months ago for routine check up, all went well and Steven provided thorough notes about my car.A few days ago i brought my car in (2013 Infiniti) with a broken exhaust system and he and his crew fixed the problem the same day. Steven was able to refer back to the notes he took on my car and he noted I had significant rust on the exhaust system. If I had brought my car to a dealer or probably anyone else, they would have recommended I get a new $3k exhaust system. Steven assessed the situation, and determined the rust could be cut away and replaced with fresh metal. He and his crew cut and welded the job. Everything turned out great, Steven even documented the process with video and provided updates.Can t recommend enough.

This is truly the best auto shop I have ever visited. I had an issue with my car where it was making a very loud rattling noise. K & C was a savior. They went the extra mile to accommodate me on short notice when they didn t have to, gave me a quote for diagnostics before I could even ask, and even sent me photos and videos of what they were finding In real time. Amazing value too so I want everyone to know to go there. I worked with Steven and I have never met anyone better work with in business. He was transparent, super knowledgeable where he could even explain mechanics in plain language to a novice like me, and fixed my car up at an amazing value. If you want you and your car and treated perfectly and at a great price go to K & C!

Today I dropped of my BMW after an emergency. K & C Auto service went above and beyond to assist. Received immediate service that put me at ease. Was provided with an estimate and I can t say how nice and transparent they are. A ton of stress, after a bad day, has been lifted and day has ended on a good note. Steven is what everyone wants in a mechanic - honest, fair, and efficient. Great sense of humor too. I have been going to him for 7 years here and at his previous shop. He works on everything from older cars with character to new BMW/Benz, I have brought both to him and have had the same great experience.

I rarely leave a review, but this place really deserves one. I came in with an alternator problem and they were very honest about the problem. Steven was genuinely so kind and funny to talk to and the prices were amazing for sf. I live in Southern California, but I honestly just might wait until I come up here for my yearly checkups. Definitely deserves 5 stars

What an amazing experience! My car's alternator stopped working and it killed my battery along with it. I called this place up last night (Friday) to see if I could bring my car in today (Saturday). They took it today after I had it towed there. They had the parts ready and were able to fix it up in one day! Throughout the morning and afternoon Steven (the wonderful man who maintained communication through the whole process) sent pictures and videos of the progress, showing where the problems were, and would call to update on progress and to check in.My knowledge of cars is very much lacking but he made sure to explain everything patiently and easily which I appreciate so much! The final cost was very reasonable considering how much needed to be replaced/fixed and that it was all done in one day.I highly recommend this auto shop and will definitely return here if there's any other issues I come across! (Thank you so much, Steven!)

Stephen and company did an excellent job on our Mercedes. Not only very knowledgeable but listens to concerns well. We had a transmission issue which he diagnosed and resolved but also let us know full diagnostics of other potential fixes of things that are wearing low, but didn't force us into any unnecessary repairs. Definitely recommend for these frustrating european cars, Stephen is your man

Honest and Trustworthy gem in San Francisco. Very detailed, knowledgeable, and honest service. Steve is very good with communication as well, and documenting the condition of the vehicle. They are not the cheapest but not the most expensive in SF. I recommend this shop with high marks.

What can I say that hasn't already been said, Steven is a straight up guy who'll tell you how it is even if it means he doesn't get the job. Honest bloke and very knowledgeable. I took my Audi Q7 to get the taillight replaced and will be back for anything else.

I have been bringing my 2004 Subaru Forester to Steven since I bought it in 2009. He s smart, experienced, honest, hardworking and trustworthy. No BSI really like him and wish I could get him to quit smoking cigarettes!
