This review is long overdue, but well-deserved. In short: I've been bringing my car to ISM since 2010, and the service has never been anything but professional, personal, and very fairly priced. They let you know what's happening at every step, and explain things well. And if in the rare occasion a repair isn't perfect, they do everything possible to make it right. I'd trust my (old!) car to nobody else.

Gelina was amazing and made it a very easy process! Antonio was great with informing me about what is going on with my car as well. My car was in and out faster than i expected and the work was amazing. Will definitely return for any necessary work in the future.

I had my car serviced there and I can't be happier. The service writer, Gelina, is very prepared and informative and overall a nice person to chat with. The car service was done quickly, providing plenty of information and details on what was going on. Definitively a five star experience

I had a great experience with ISM! I was experiencing a few problems with my car, and the process to get it inspected was super simple and thorough. The staff listened to my concerns and then explained their findings and solutions to me clearly. 100% recommend this shop!

I've been taking my 2018 Mini to ISM for a couple of years now. ISM is much closer and more convenient than the Mini dealer in Marin (who is great.. just far away from me). ISM is has been wonderful.They've helped me understand what is and isn't under warranty, and when it doesn't make sense for them to do the repair (like in the instance of a vehicle software update).They've explained why they recommend the repairs they do, and have explained the different ways I could approach something, as well as any choices I have in parts (like for a new battery or a windshield replacement).Every interaction, I've found them to be honest, fair and easy to communicate with. And, just as importantly, they do great job of repairs.. with a shiny, washed car at the end.Gelina runs the office and, I believe, is a big reason why the place is so wonderful. And, of course, their incredibly talented and experienced mechanics make my car run like new. Love Gelina! Very thorough. I ve brought my car here a couple times, once for body work and then once for yearly maintenance, both times were great. Fast, friendly and good work. The service manager has a bad attitude, poor customer service. And she can't provide an update in the car repair.The car has been in the shop for almost 3 months.I went to see all the reviews and look like a pattern to keep cars for long-term.Place is not recommended

Tired of the cost of using my dealership and doing some research, I ended up at ISM for an oil change and overall inspection. I explained that my warranty was only good at the dealer. After they did a thorough review of my car, they told me where the issues where and to bring them to my dealer to use the warranty. I did and they were covered. Not only did ISM provide a thorough service, give me a detailed report with photos - which I then brought to my dealer, they helped me maximize my warranty and were totally kind and practical about that. I ended up saving a lot of money. Moving forward I will go to ISM for all not covered by my warranty, until it's no longer active. Gelina listened to my needs, explained everything. This worst auto repairs experience ever!!! They took over 5 months to repair my vehicle. They held on to my vehicle to charge my insurance company another $5000, and to joy ride my vehicle. When I receive my vehicle it had an additional 7,000 miles, and it operates worse than before. Also my car has damages on the rear tailgate and my passenger window doesn t work. After reaching out to them, they have done nothing to assist me. They are very rude, unprofessional, and unorganized. After a couple of troubling experiences at the Jaguar dealership here in SF, I began searching for a new home to have my car serviced. After my first visit to International Sport Motors I can share the search is over; this is the place. The service was exemplary. From excellent personal service to incredibly thorough and highly professional work on my F-Type. I have been using ISM for years, highly recommended. On this visit 5/30/2023 my car was making a serious squeaking noise ( I suspected shocks and/or struts). They performed a detailed inspection and determined the sway bar and front control arm bushings were damaged (and provided a video to show problem). The technician resolved the noise (concern), they also aligned car and car is driving great (no squeaking noise). They also suggested to just start with the control arm repair, and hold off on the shocks and struts - so prudent, realistic concern for cleint's car and pocketbook!Services: Tires, Steering & suspension replacement, Tire rotations

I had a great experience at ISM. Not a lot of places will service Porsche and those that do usually charge a fortune. Their prices were very reasonable and they were able to get my oil changed and inspection in half of a day. Diagnostics came back clean and they didn't try to upsell me on any other services. I plan to go back if I need any future work on my car and for scheduled service.Service: Oil change

Good quality work, the first time I dealt with international sports motor. However, my second time I brought my vehicle in for repairs, my vehicle had got side swipe while parked. They took forever with the repairs like a month and a half and later after our business was final and paid in full, I got a email from my insurance months later company saying that international sports motor was asking for a third supplement and as if my car was still in their hands. Overall expenses would have been $17,500 if I wouldn't had told my insurance company to stop the check. My only amount I owed was paid by my insurance company was $7,500. My car is worth $14,000. I went down to the car repair shop to personally speak with them. These people tried to scam my insurance company and me. First they denied it. Then tried to say oh no that's what you owed. People please keep all receipts even after sale is final. I had all my receipts intact and bust them right in the act. People find somewhere better than this shop.Service: Auto body & trim repair

I've been taking my 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia to Gelina at ISM since 2021...do not regerts! I really like International sport motors. I always schedule my car maintenance with them. They do a great job on repairs and explain the details of what is needed so that I understand the work. Scheduling is easy. Gelina is service manager and she s terrific! The WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD!! Beware of this business!! I had my car towed there for a collision to my car. They were an Allstate approved body shop! They gave me an outrageous bid for repair and when I refused to have the work done there they charged $300.00 per day just for storage! My insurance company couldn t believe it and was reluctant to pay such an outrageous amount. They dragged the whole process! My car sat there for almost 2weeks until I got my car out of there! They are a total scam and are not reputable to deal with!! BEWARE OF ISM!

I really hate to give away this secret but I found the best service advisor here at ISM. Ive taken my Range Rover to all the local Land Rover dealerships and have not had any good customer service. Gelina is by far the best in taking care of me from beginning to end. She kept me informed through the whole insurance process and was very knowledgeable and honest. ISM and Gelina is my go-to here on out!!

I am writing my second review of International Sport Motors. I have used their services about 3 times, although overall I was happy with the end result. There were some aspects of their service that needed to be improved and I let Antonio know. After another car accident and looking around, I decided to go back and give them a second chance. I spoke to Antonio who had responded to my review and assured me that he had spoken to the staff and would personally walk me through the service process. I appreciated his willingness to listen and learn. I was super satisfied with the staff service and will go back to International and recommend them in a heartbeat!!
