Great experience getting my Fiat 500 s front brakes checked out and replaced. The person helping me kept informing me about the progress throughout the day and got the job finished by end day. But I wish though he had been little more polite with his attitude when I first came to the shop to drop the car. I found him little too direct and hardly presenting any smile when talking. Also I was hoping to get a manager s discount of some sort but he said he would not be able to unless I have a coupon. Any small gesture could have earned my future business. Still though thanks for getting the job done on time.

I was unsatisfied with the intake customer service representative. I made an appointment for 9 a.m. with the Manager last week for an alignment. The representative said my service would take 20 minutes and was adamant that I wait for my car because there was no capacity to store my car the whole day. I never requested for a whole day storage for my vehicle. Had he asked me, I would have told him that I would be back in about an hour because I was late for my hour meeting at my job which is 2 blocks from Firestone. I eventually told him and then he agreed to provide me service. He was rude and did not provide good customer service. It is not my fault or responsibility to provide vehicle capacity for the customers.

Very disappointing Service especially since I have been using Firestone for my car care over eight years. I got a flat on the freeway, and they refuse to honor the roadside protection. I purchased one new tire, and they installed it on the back of my car where the bad tire was. This is a front wheel drive vehicle, they are fully aware, and that situation the new tire should have gone on the front of the car not on the back.

Got new tires here yesterday and was a great experience. Knowledgeable advice, quick and timely service, fair price and excellent brand new tires on my car. Happy camper! Thank you, Firestone team!

I made the appointment for oil change, alignment, tires rotation, mechanic check for breaks, tires and filter at San Francisco Mission street location. When I pick my car , shop only change the oil and alignment. None of other requests were not performed. I dropped my car in at 7 am and pick it up at 1500 , almost 8 hours . That was very disappointing. I think I should go to somewhere else. Very bad service!

This place is interested in selling you a full set of tires no matter what your need. The manager tried to bully me into a sale I didn t need. Pretty terrible experience. It was complicated to set up an appointment. When I showed up on time they told me I would not be able to get the tire repaired today. The first guy thought the tire could be repaired. The manager came by and said with an accusatory tone, You want me to repair this tire? I can t do that. It is not safe. He said the tires were cracked because they were 5 years old (yes, these were Firestone tires I bought from him 5 years ago). He said the only possibility was four new tires for $1000. He told me I paid $1300 last time. I hadn t. I had the receipt. I paid $700 plus $250 lifetime warranty. The so-called 70,000 mile tires I bought from this dealer the last time had 20,000 miles on them and still had 7mm tread left.I had the tire repaired in 10 minutes at Juarez Tire 3 blocks away for $45.I saved $950 and working with a bully by going elsewhere. The other shop said my tires were in great shape and I had a lot of wear left on them. Maybe the manager at Firestone would have said that too if he had bothered to look at the tires.Service: Tires

Great first time experience at this Firestone Mission St. Location! Made an online appointment and received email confirmation our Acura TL s alignment service was in queue. We called just to be sure and was told we should be good to come in and their current turnaround was about two hours. I drove into the limited space driveway, was helped immediately upon entry to their office area by Peco. He was very professional, efficient, and polite. He found my husband s alignment subscription in their system and gave me a verbal estimate of less than 2 hours . I was able to use their facilities and waiting area and actually was told the service was completed in 30 minutes! Excellent turnaround time! And bonus was that, although not asked, they did a safety check and advised us of our tires needing to be replaced soon. Super pleased with my first time experience and with their extra care service. Definitely recommend. Thanks to Peco and our mechanic who did the service. (I would have given 5th star if free wifi and/or the usual Firestone water cooler amenity had been available. )

Pico does an excellent job. He is very knowledgeable and kept me in the loop with everything. He took care of everything in a timely manner.

The wait time was 30 minutes; when I used to take it to Franklin, the wait time would be 4 hours or so. Also, the staff here is very nice, and the location is a lot less stressful (less traffic) and has more parking.

I made my appointment, and wait for the whole week. But when I came they told me I not on the list and I should make new appointment in a week. More so when I called they confirmed that the costs is whatever Tire Rack specified in the order. That was not true either they told me in the shop. They were rude and acted like it was my fault saying call that number again we are not that people who took your appointment, the calls go to another place. When I called I saw they picked up a phone and put me on hold. Unprofessional and rude

Lifetime Firestone customer - never experienced such a lack of professionalism and care for the customer at any other of the 15+ locations I have visited.Took my car there for a wheel alignment, tire rotation, and general check over. I have the lifetime alignment service, and a coupon for the rotation + health check for $9.99 and experienced the following challenges:1) Had to make an appointment more than 10days in advance because they were backed up.2) Brought the car in at 10am for a 1030am appointment, was thanked for my promptness and promised the car back before 5pm so that I could get to work. It wasn t ready until 6:15pm - for an alignment, tire rotation, and safety check.3) Got a call from the service advisor letting me know that they wouldn t be doing a tire rotation because all the tires measured the same . When I explained that these tires had about 8,000 miles of wear on them, and that they hadn t been rotated since new and that the service manual recommends a rotation every 7,500 miles. The service advisor pushed back saying the manual only makes general recommendations, I am telling you what your car actually needs . Needless to say - I insisted they rotate the tires.4) I walked out the door with recommendations for $800 worth of worth that needs to be done to the vehicle, including: a) an oil change (performed one last week, there s a sticker in the window); b) a new AC belt as the current one is cracking (replaced myself 1 year ago - looks fine); c) new rear brakes - and they always recommend doing the pads AND the rotors to be extra safe (I replaced the rear pads 6mons / 5,000 miles ago...)5) When the technician brought the keys back into the office and handed them to the service advisor, I asked Hey! How d she do?? The tech simply responded - pretty sure that s his job to tell you that, bro motioning to the service advisor before walking out the door... and he wasn t wearing a mask.6) Finally, got back in the car and it was a mess (see picture). There was grease, and thumb prints, and a water bottle that wasn t mine on the floor. Oh - did I mention that the mechanic wasn t wearing a mask? Come on - we are in a global f**ing pandemic! At least I got an alignment and I watched them rotate the tires... beyond that - steer clear!

Had a flat tire and they changed it in a few hours . Price was reasonable . No one pushed any other services on me which I appreciated. Even did a complimentary fluid check.

This is one of the best mechanics I've ever been to. They were very honest about the work I need to get done, but they didn't try to pressure me into doing anything more than I could afford today. They also found things two other mechanics had not, to explain an issue that no one had been able to diagnose before. I'll definitely be going back.

I have now twice made an appointment (by phone) to have my car serviced at the Firestone in the Mission. Both times when I show up to drop my car off they turned me away because the do not have technicians available.Very disappointing as I purchased the lifetime alignment package and not be able to use it at this location.Service: Wheel alignment

Unprofessional. Not Recommended. Awful Manager Roberto Gomez, seems sweet but BEWARE. His mechanics left long-nose pliers in my engine after changing a headlight. It blocked my cooling fan, overheated my radiator and broke it. On top of being extremely dangerous to drive like this, I immediately called Firestone back when my check engine light came on the next day saying I just had my vehicle in there for maintenance. They told me to go to one of the other auto shops who would do a computer reading for free. That person told me I needed a mechanic. By the time I got to an available mechanic, my engine was in smoke. Radiator fluid boiling. 400$ mistake.THE FUN PART: I came back and told Roberto what happened with the invoice from the competent mechanic. He tried to put on this entire show; and here's where the mechanic who worked on your car's tools are.. see no pliers that match those ones..As soon as the mechanic stepped onto the property he admitted that the long-nose pliers found in my cooling fan belonged to the shop.I took out my phone to make a phone call however Roberto extremely rudely started yelling at me about trying to record on private property without his consent. That this is illegal and that I should be expecting an email from Firestone. I'm sure he never got my email anyway. I took no such recording permission granted or not.How unprofessional and out of line.

Total scam! I went to Firestone for a maintenance check and after a few hours, I got a call back from the mechanic asking me if they could proceed with the "necessary" repairs. I told them no without having first an itemized quote. The final cost for the two tiers, battery, and shocks comes to $1,400 ($400 for the tiers and $1000 for the rest). Given the price, I decided to give it some thought and return another day. They were rude and didn't explain to me anything. 1 day after the check engine light is on, despite the fact that my car's engine had never been problematic and Firestone's mechanic didn't notify me of a problem. Idecidedto go toanother body shop to find out what was going on. Basically, they messed up my dashboard's lights, I didn't need to replace the battery, the shocks were still functional, and only the 2 tiers needed to be changed, but I only paid $230 rather than $400 as Firestone asked.

I almost died because of the faulty service provided by Firestone! I'm not the person who leaves reviews for petty incidents, but this was just too serious to not warn other folks.I got all 4 of my tires replaced by Firestone. During the install they mentioned my wheel alignment was off. I personally hadn't noticed that to be the case while driving, but just to be on the safer side, I asked them to fix it for additional cost. When I got the car back from them, the wheel alignment was even more off compared to when I first handed them the car. The quality of the mechanics is extremely sub-par for advanced work. Then a week after the tire replacement the scariest thing happened. I was driving down the 101 and the tire came off the wheel! The car entered into a swerve (zig-zag) and I somehow luckily was able to control it. On a different day with more traffic it would have certainly caused an accident. The rear tire does not normally come off.I asked Firestone to take the car and figure out what went wrong. 2 days after, I call them to ask if my car is ready. They say yes sure come pick it up. I ask what was the root-cause? They're like we're not sure. I was appalled at the callous attitude. I literally just died due to a mistake they made and they didn't even bother to root-cause the issue. At this point I didn't trust them anymore and took the car to a better repair shop. Those guys mentioned the alignment was completely off.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

Never going here again. Bad service. Messed up my appointment. Didn't own up to it. Said it's not "their" problem. Their meaning the local shop. Corporate messed up. In the end, turned out the shop didn't check their online appointments because they were too busy. Mistakes do happen, but the arrogance and lack of owning it on behalf of the local manager was astounding.

Brought my truck for an alignment in which it was done but needed to bring back since the vehicle was still dragging me to the right. I came back and I was told that the technician called sick to be back in a different day and I did. Called earlier to confirm and when I arrived for the second time I was told that bcoz I have aftermarket wheels they should have accepted my truck on the first place. I requested my money back and left.

Set up an appointment online for a specific set of tires. They swapped to a different set of tires without noting it to me. They never showed me the screen when I signed, so I assumed it was the same tires I signed up for. But no, got sold a more expensive set of tires. Not a trustworthy location. They had a different person there at pickup time who couldn't contact I originally signed with, i.e. the person who swapped the tires out in the order. They told me afterwards that "we have your signature, so you do owe us for the tires we put on your car".

Really bad experience. I completely don t recommend! They sold me tire with insurance and everything, prices were really high. After 2 weeks one of my tire was damaged and called them to make appointment and ask tire availability, they said it s gonna be available in 3 days. I went to Firestone after 4 days, they had a tire but covered Nothing !!!! I said okay ! After couple weeks i got flat tire. And again i went to them. And there was a guy who talked with me before and he recognized me and sorry we don t have appointments next one is gonna be after 2 days. I told him i had a flat tire just a nail. I drove with this tire with low pressure as much as i can. They said no !Thanks for your service!DO NOT TRUST THEM !

Disappointed mostly. I bought tires from Firestone before and had a pleasant experience. This time was a very different experience. 7 am Tuesday September 8th. I call and made an appointment two days earlier to replace 2 tires. They said that they opened at 7 and I waited until 7:30 for someone to show up. When I made the appointment they said they would order the tires and that they would be done by noon. When they finally showed up it turns out they did not order the tires and that maybe they could get the work done today. The person in the office was extremely rude, could care less what was promised, and indicated that he had plenty of business. I took this to mean he could care less whether I bought the tires or not. I decided not to go forward with the work and took my car elsewhere. I am a pretty easy going person, but I do want to be treated with respect. I would have been fine with a "maybe we can get this done on Tuesday" from the outset. I actually felt verbally attacked by the counter person. Live and learn.

I made an appointment 3 weeks in advance for a required inspection on my Tesla. Arrived. They 1) "don't service any electric cars" despite asking for my year, make, model when booking the appointment and 2) even if making an exception, wanted to charge me $195 for the same service that Goodyear offers for $29. Waste of time and money.
