Good work, reasonable prices, but they left a scratch on my door handle.I went to get a full synthetic oil change on my 2016 BMW 340i. Last second, I asked for a brake fluid flush as well, and luckily they were able to accommodate me. I was asked to pick up the car very late ~15 minutes before closing, but I think that's reasonable due to my last-second request for an additional service.Unfortunately, the technician who had grabbed my car in the morning had opened my door into the wooden utility pole next to the parking. Luckily I don't drive a show car, but I would have been very unhappy if I had been driving a brand new vehicle and this had happened. Someone did clean the scratch up with some grime remover after this picture was taken and while it is still scratched, it is barely noticeable now

I recently moved and was searching for a new auto repair shop. My neighbor recommended Faxon Garage, and I couldn't be happier with their service. They're friendly, organized, honest, and reasonable. Honestly excellent service. They diagnosed a problem that 2 other shops failed to, and explained it in such a friendly, thorough, and understandible way. Their prices are fair, their process is transparent, they are quick and good at what they do. Will be using Faxon whenever possible from here on out.

We took our 2013 Highlander to Faxon based on a friend's recommendation. We couldn't be happier with the service! They repaired a leak with our air conditioning which was 2x cheaper than what was quoted to us at the dealership and our regular mechanic. They were courteous, on-time and was forthcoming in their assessment. I would definitely trust my car with them again.

Great service and hassle free. My repair was done through an extended warranty from the dealership. They are a CarMax service partner. I had great interaction over the phone and in person. My only gripe is that I had to retrieve my van a few blocks away from the shop.Service: TiresService: Tires

I went to two shops before this one because I had sinking brakes that were coming and going. Both of the other shops said they couldn t find anything wrong, and it wouldn t be possible to identify the problem if it wasn t sinking the day I brought it in. 3rd times a charm with faxon, they were quick, found the problem first try (even tho my brakes weren t sinking when the day I brought it in) affordable, and kind. They got the job done swiftly and I could not be more satisfied with them. My brakes feel so much better - New to SF and this will be my new trusted mechanic !

This place has been great for my partner and for me. I have a Prius and he has a Mini Cooper. We both have had repairs done at this shop and their customer service, speed, and prices are excellent! They are such good communicators (always call back, call you regularly to give you updates, etc.) and they are friendly and easy to talk to.I had my catalytic converter stolen out of my car and it took 6 months to get the new converter so they could replace it. They kindly answered all of my questions and were able to keep my car for me while we were waiting for the part to come in. I know that's not something they can always do, but it was really nice that I didn't have to think about parking in my neighborhood and moving my car constantly, especially when it wasn't functioning properly. Getting my CC stolen was emotionally horrible and so costly because I had to rent a car for half a year, but they really helped ease my stress in the situation.I would go back to them or recommend them in a heartbeat! They were nice enough to let me use the restroom while I waited for a family member's car to get towed from their shop. The bathroom was clean, I I never expect much from auto shops as far as bathrooms go. My family member got a diagnostic done on the car, felt they were a little overpriced for the repairs needed, the shop is on a busy street so no parking really. A lot of people were bringing their cars to the establishment so I can assume that they do good service, and they had good music playing.

Don't know why it took me so long to start using this garage. Their service has been great. They looked for used parts to save me money. Their communication has been great, very clear and good explanation of what is going wrong. Fingers crossed that all the many things wrong with my car have been addressed.

Always have a great experience at Faxon Garage. Honest people there. I had a bad sensation with the brakes in my car, I asked them to get a look, they did it in no time, and confirmed that everything was fine. It ended up that my wife has adjusted the driver seat without telling me, hence the unusual feeling when using the brakes. Faxon did not charge me anything for this, even when I insisted as their work did provide a great peace of mind for me.Since then, I go back to their shop when I need it (oil change, tires replacement, etc.) and it is always perfect!I wont got anywhere else, thank you Faxon Garage!Services: Tires, Auto brake repair, Tire rotations, Vehicle Inspection, Brakes, Auto maintenance, Oil change

I am puzzled by the positive ratings received by this place. They clearly have no interest in engaging in conversation explaining what happened to my car. What's even worse is that not just once, but twice, they try to charge me with an incorrect price. Sure enough, they overestimated the cost until I brought it to their attention. To make matters worse, they didn't even apologize.Even after returning the car, the engine still sounds the same, and they charged me over $500. I will never return to this place, and I feel compelled to caution others against being deceived by these misleading ratings.Service: Auto engine tuning

Limited street parking, but a mechanic took my car immediately to move it into an approved shop area. Tire patch was completed quicker than expected. I've always had good experiences with Faxon Garage! On my first visit they didn't even charge me to check the radiator fluid which a Valvoline Oil Shop had tried to change even though it turned out to be perfectly fine! Thanks Faxon!Service: Tires

Great Service! I went in with a flat and they were able to replace the tire within 24 hours of my inquiry. Meanwhile Costco Tires wanted me to wait a week for service. Faxon did an excellent job and I will definitely use them again for my car maintenance needs.Service: TiresService: Tires

Came in to fix my mirror and they were able to pop it back on in 5 minutes! Super honest cause most other places would have charged me for a new mirror. Next time I break it for real (the garages here are so narrow only a matter of time) I'll definitely come back here! Thank you so so much!

Excellent mechanic. I took my car here after it broke down on the highway. Not only did they see my car early, but when it turned out to be a bigger problem that they weren't sure they could fix easily, they were very open about my options. Very honest group over there-- I will 100% be back.

The team here is great! I originally came to them for a Tire Rack installation. I went in for a tire plug and they reminded me about the road hazard insurance tire rack provides, which would fully reimburse me! They did not have to do that, and I very much appreciate it. They take great care of your car while it's with them!

I went to Faxon Garage to install a set of new tires and was very impressed by their service. I called in advance to let them know that tires are coming and they were very courteous to accommodate my schedule. I dropped off my car and everything went exactly as I was told: my car was ready just in time, no attempts to upsell of any kind - just friendly and professional service. And they even reached out after a day or two to check if everything is OK and if I have any questions or issues. Five stars!

Ordered new tires from tirerack and had them shipped here. They installed them quickly and the price was exactly as expected.Also had them inspect my shocks, which they did for free and they suggested I get them replaced but they weren't pushy about it. Gave me all the information I needed, definitely a trustworthy shop.

We took my car to another shop twice before coming here. Both times the car lasted a week before breaking down. Since I have taken my car to Faxon Garage, it has been running very smoothly and shows no signs of issues. I definitely plan on bringing it in again if any other problems occur!

Faxon took care of me on super short notice, getting my Subaru Forester XT prepped and ready for a 1,200 mile journey. The price was very reasonable, lower than I expected from a SF mechanic.Every person I dealt with at Faxon was very kind, their customer service was truly second to none.

Loved my experience here. My boyfriend yelled at me for going to a Jiffy Lube for my last oil change, so I got my act together and visited FaxonGarage Garage. They were thorough, professional, and considerate. I loved the report card and pictures I got at the end, and will definitely be returning.Edit: Hola! It's more than a year later, and true to my first review, I went back! They're still great. I even had a hybrid specific question, and the staff referred me to Luscious Garage (as they work specifically with hybrids), and it makes me even more loyal to Faxon for my regular maintenance. It means a lot that my car is the most important thing to them, even if it means referring me to another shop.

This place can't even do an oil change properly, the overfilled my oil and I had to go back for them to empty some oil. I also had an alternator installed by them because my discharge battery light was flickering. Now the discharge light is permanently on after they charged me $300 to replace my alternator.This shop is sloppy and even just for a simple oil change you have to take your car back twice every single time. I'm done with Faxon, don't go here unless you want your car ruined by shoddy/rushed maintenance work

I called an hour before closing because I discovered a large bolt in my tire, Walee told me to bring it in and he would finish before 6pm. I arrived 15 minutes later and Walee was so nice, repaired the tire and inflated all my tires to the proper level, something my previous mechanic didn't do. Very reasonable price and friendly service. Will definitely go back!

Did a great job replacing a timing belt, water pump and wheel alignment on my 3000gt. These guys are great and always give me a fair price for real work. I will be back for all my future maintenance needs.

Fast appointment and friendly services. I had worked done with Faxon Garage many years ago and was very satisfied with their work.I recently ordered some tires from TireRack and found out Faxon Garage is one of their recommended installer. I had the tires shipped directly to them. I received a call the same morning Faxon Garage received the tires and was able to schedule an appointment the next day to bring my car in.Walee is the guy that will always take care of his customers.Vinh
