Avoid this tire center at all cost. Lots of miscommunication making it a horrible experience. Spent over 1k on tires last week and was told I can easily make an appointment once they arrive. Tried to set up an appointment and nothing for at least 2 weeks. Called them and they said if I show up right when they open, the wait shouldn t be that bad, should be about an hour. Showed up at 9a when the website says they open and they inform me they re booked for the next few hours and I can try again at noon. They said they had opened a little before 9a and already scheduled the walk-ins for the morning. So they are quick to take my money but don t prioritize the services I paid for. Costco, please don t sell your tires if you don t have time to install them

AVOID THIS TIRE CENTER!! Wish I could give zero stars. Horrible staff. It took me 5 visits to get a simple tire swap done. They took several hours to just swap a single tire!

I want to give an shoutout and thanks to Jesus and Alex for their awesome customer service and the team s spectacular service to our car. Jesus was there for the first time I needed new tires and my auto questions. Very knowledgeable and very helpful to solve my auto problems. Alex was awesome to customers, treated respectful and friendly. Solving my first flat tire. Thanks!

Booked an appointment for 5PM and they did not start working on the car until 730PM and after which they took an hour to make the change. 3.5 hours to get tires changed WITH an appointment. Im not entirely sure how any of this is acceptable. Everyone pretended as if this is the standard of service which was more shocking. Night and day difference compared to discount tire. Never before. Never again. Up there with my worst experiences with a consumer company.

Mike Murphy was great, fast, easy to talk to and very efficient. Alot of people inline and I was there 20min before opening. In n out after checking in took 1:15 for 4new tires..

With and appointment. 2 Hours and 30 minutes still waiting? First they don t have a tire then they do have a tire?after 2 1/2 hours. My car was ready one tire replaced. The spare tire was placed in the trunk not 100% secured and installed correctly. But I guess it would have taken another hour to do it right. The front desk person guys were rude and didn t have the answers to my questions. One more than the other. One of them said I don t know I didn t work on the car anyway. I was not too happy with the entire experience. But do they care? Probably not I have to clarify not everyone was rude, short or with an attitude. I spoke with the security officer he listen and recommended to relate my concerns to a manager. But at that point I just wanted to go home.

So this message goes to Beth the manager of the tire place in Costco Tire shop on El Camino in South San Francisco. The worker named Roger. He was amazing. Nice and understanding towards my situation. I have a interlock system on currently and he let me use my own disinfected spray so it doesn't think I am drinking alcohol. He made sure I was taken care of and that my needs were important and safety. He was very professional. I wanted to give him a review on the phone but there busy. So I just wanted to give a shout out on here. So that the world can see. I am going to be a repeated customer because of the great service. I have the worst luck with tires so I will be coming back but hopefully not to soon. Thanks again Roger. Next time I wont have the device in but thanks again for being understanding of it. See you in 5,000 miles for tire rotation!Roselia Banta

The guy at the service desk is an a-hole, very impatient and rude, not sure why he chooses to face the customers. Never thought would received that kind of treatment as a Costco customer. Maybe the 3.3 stars rating explains things. I am not talking about the long wait time here, I am talking about customer services.

The reason for the mixed reviews is really quite simple. This tire center has extremely competitive prices, and thus is overbooked and understaffed. There is almost always a line just to get in queue for a service. Naturally there is only so much they can do to pick up phone calls and to service every single vehicle up to closing time. The fact is once your car is up, the mechanics work very diligently on the vehicle. I will return for every single tire service I need in the future. 5 stars all the way

Yes, it has low service fees. But it is not worth it for 99.99% of people, considering how much extra time and frustration you may end up spending/getting.Even dealership service centers are better.

It's all about planning and online research and buying of your tires. And make your installation appointment online! I parked in the designated TIRE CENTER parking space at 4pm on a Thursday afternoon, showed the attendant my paid online tire order number and was told it would take an hour. 50 minutes later, I got a call that my car was ready while I was finishing my hot dog at the food court. I was driving away in another 3 minutes. Smooth process. The installers in the garage were clean and kept a neat garage. I bought my Michelins online on sale with an additional 1 cent per tire installation special. It's normally $15 per tire for installation; that's an extra $60 savings! I am a very satisfied customer.

Excellent service. Need to make an appointment online. I made appointment on Thursday, earliest spot available is Sunday. Came n for tire repair due to nail, it took 1 hour 15min with appointment.

I was happy with the work here. I was originally only going to do two tires but they called me when they had the tires off and brought me into the shop to show me the wear lines and suggested I do all four. They also let me switch out the new tires I was going to put on in order to get a better set of four that had a good promotional rebate.

They always do a good job. But there is no real waiting Room and nowhere to sit and read a magazine or a look at your phone. It feels highly industrialized, but the work gets done. Also since they sold me the tires the tire rotation and balancing are free.

Hard to make an appointment. Tire might not available the store you choose. The staff not Friendly to you. The price is ok there. Not a much.

Kind, fast and helpful! Today I got to interact with Carlos Lopez and he made my morning. I had a bit of a panic because my tire light was on - he was awesome in educating me on the why, how to prevent it in the future, and helping me fix my immediate issue!Carlos was an incredible ambassador for the Costco brand, I felt well taken care of.

They refuse to take our car in need of new tires , we been there 3 times already, I understand they get too much cars in the first hour between 7-8 am them they re not taking more vehicles our firs 2 times we been there by 10 am is ok my husband went on Sunday the only day we can go really early he was there in line since 6:40 am my Costco card is under my name , they denied the service to my husband , he explained that we have small kids we can t awaken them up at 6 am to take them with us .my husband showed the tile of our car where it shows my name and address same as in my file at Costco membership but they said no because I was not there, We won t take our car never to Costco tire .We bought 4 new sets for previous cars , but I m very disappointed now , also been recommending to friends and family this place to get their tires here , but won t recommend this place again.

Went out of their way to squeeze me in, even though they already maxed out on walk ins and appointments for the day. Staff was professional and I was promptly notified me when my car was ready after a short wait. Without them I would have had to get towed the next day as I was steadily losing air from a nail embedded in the tire. Thanks to Rui and Juan who made it happen!

Friendly service and good tire prices and low service fees. I ordered online and waited about 2 hours for an install, which I was expecting based on the reviews. They really do open at 7 a.m., so go early and get in the front of the line.

Murphy was the person who assisted us for tires . Very attentive to what we were looking for in a tire . Very clean in the area . Counterspace was clean and checkout was a breeze

This place is super busy. It is the busiest Costco Tire Center in the area. You frequently have to wait several hours. That said, they are super professional. They supported my tire warranty, which was awesome.If you've got the time, this place is great.

If I could give them -100 stars I would. Worst customer service period. They completely ignored me as we are half way through checking for tires in stalked n left me for a phone call they could've put on hold didn't even bother paying listening to me when I was calling for his attention. I never write any reviews but to save other peoples time And not go through what I went through I feel that it is required to do so.

Generally I love Costco tire centers. This one is however an exception. Previously I went and only found out from my paperwork that they suggested getting an alignment. Further disappointing that the online system says they do walk-ins but in store they say it is appointment only.

Long lines. Only one person working the counter. Common tires are out of stock and needs to be "special ordered". Not a casual tire shop. probably most suitable for members shopping for 3hrs inside their warehouse while waiting for their tires.

Horrible experience, they DO NOT WANT TO GO THROUGH THE warranty! Especially this location. They fixed my tire that a screw in it and other costco told me it s unrepairable and this location somehow repaired it. I went to hayward and back for a new tire and now they said I need to go back to hayward to get the warranty money bad for business!

They did get it done fast but put sealant all over the rims and sidewalks of my beautiful brand new tires. Also they don t do alignment so you end up having to go somewhere else afterwards to get that done.

the high-habded behavior of the employees here was appalling.their working appearance is to play and work only the rest of the time.they lose customers.
