Fast service with great Costco value.I had a tire issue that need to be dealt with asap. I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and was attended to very quickly.Jv was very helpful and attentive. I was able to have my car tires replaced in about 2 hours on a Saturday.

Pretty long lines even if you have an appointment.I bought tires at Costco and assumed they will be able to properly install them.Unfortunately they cannot check wheel alignment which is required after tire installation.Now I need to spend more time and money to go to another shop.Never again I'm going here to install new tires.It is a very misleading customer experience tbh.They at least installed tires the same appointment day, hence 2 stars instead of 1.

Special shout out to Julio and Erwin who put our spare on right before close with it pouring rain outside. Always stressful getting a flat, especially in downtown SF. We pulled in just so we could call roadside assistance and Julio jumped up to help us. We were able to get back home to Vacaville that night thanks to them going above and beyond. I sure wish we lived closer--we would have bought all of our new tires and had them installed at this store. Dealing with the poor customer service at the Vacaville Costco Tire Center makes me realize how lucky we were to have had these two help us out when they definitely didn't have to.

Terrible service, felt condescending and rude towards me being female and had to leave without even getting a nail in my tire addressed or my planned $1100 new tire set purchased. Do better, Costco.Parked in a space marked tire center , stood patiently waiting at empty counter for a rep, a rep starts approaching me and starts pointing at me and telling me I need to move my car because it s a tire pressure spot. I nicely explain I have a nail in my tire, want to check tire pressure while I order new tires that I needed anyways, but then proceeds to tell me if you don t know how to use pressure gauge, then we will teach you but you still have to move your car first come first serve Why would he assume that as a woman I didn t know how to measure tire pressure? Every time I tried to ask a question, he cut me off saying move your car. First come, first serve basis I was the only customer in line. I go back to my car to find 2 of the 4 tire pressure refill spots all vacant. Costco is my go-to for all bigger purchases, but will never come back to this tire center. Will price match at a dealer.

Exceptional pricing. Hard working team. Tony helped me out and was an all around helpful rep.Recommendations: View and order tires online. Schedule appointment online BEFOREHAND!Limitations: They do not answer phone (understandable due to the extremely high volume of drop-in clients and limited staff). They will take in ~5-7 drop in clients a day (usually nail in tire stuff). They will still help assess additional drop-in vehicles but may not be able to service. On Saturday mornings 25 people will show up right at opening time...My Sat appt time was at 1 PM, they check me in right on time, and told me 1.5-2 hrs for install. Was done and ready to drive home after 1.5 hours. They did not call (again, too many clients and thin staff) but once I checked in they confirmed all done.We would go back.

Waited in line for 30 minutes before being told that appointments are really necessary. They only give 5-7 non appointment reservations out per day and you must show up by 8am...an hour before they open. You should also plan to leave your car for the full day if you do not have an appointment. There is a chance they will not actually get to your car if you do not have an appointment. You schedule appointments through the Costco app after ordering your tires on the app. This would have been good to know in advance.

I recently purchased tires from Costco and I was extremely disappointed with the experience. Firstly, the staff seemed to be inexperienced and unable to answer basic questions about the tires or installation process. They seemed to be just going through the motions without any genuine interest in providing good customer service.Secondly, the customer care was the worst I have ever experienced. I had ordered the tires online and when I arrived at the store to have them installed, the staff gave me every excuse under the sun as to why they couldn't do the job. They said the lug nuts are broken, after changing the lug nuts they said they are wrong size for their wrench, or that they didn't have the necessary equipment. It was clear that they were just trying to get out of doing the job and it was extremely frustrating.Overall, my experience with Costco's tire business was completely unacceptable and I would not recommend it to anyone. It is clear that Costco needs to restructure this aspect of their business as it is leaving a negative impression on the entire Costco brand. If you are considering purchasing tires from Costco, I would strongly advise against it. There are much better options out there.

Won't buy tires from Costco SF again. If you get an unexpected flat, you inevitably need service the sameday, so you have to walk-in without an appointment. They put you last priority to have a flat tire fixed under their warranty, so we ended up waiting well over 5 hours for a simple flat repair, only to be told it would take a total of 12 HOURS-until closing, making using the warranty overly burdensome and not worth it!

Hard to say how the work is, since I was unable to get them on the phone for a quote. The one time I was able to connect out of at least 10 tries, they put me on hold and then disconnected me. Lots of other good options in town.

Mom popped her tire while visiting, and though it took a while, they took out same day service fine. It was done by the time we had wandered around Costco a bit

I went here recently after ordering tires online and setting up an appointment to have them changed. The actual service performed was great, but the management and customer service could be improved. When I had an appointment, they didn't service the car until an hour after the appointment time. They spent a while looking for the right tire even though I got an email saying the tire had been delivered to the shop. I then returned for a torque check and ended up waiting an hour just to talk to someone for what ended up being a 1 minute check. So overall I would suggest to improve the reservation system and provide better customer service.

Costco tire is always slammed yet they have no admin staff to do simple things like answer phones, support the front desk. Prices are only slightly better than what you can get elsewhere and the completely lack of administrative service means you re probably paying more overall.

Agree with many reviewers. Everyone says it;s a goo deal - but it's not if you can't reach anyone on the phone, make an appt. or if you go there there are always 5 min. people waiting in line (even on weekdays). So,..off to Larkin Brothers - their customer service has been really fast and reliable in the past. Too bad,m I was hoping to use Costco!

Terrible customer service. I was told that I needed 2 new tires and they would be able to order them when I returned to pick up my vehicle because there was none in stock. When I got there another guy helped me and said there weren't any tires in my size except the ones that were 200 plus dollars. After I left, I got on Costco.com and was able to easily order and ship them to that store and the tires were only $130. The technician just lied to my face to get me out of there quicker, I guess.

Absolutely horrible customer service, took at least 10 tries to get them to answer the phone. When they finally did, the guy on the phone said they could inspect my tire. When I drove there on my spare tire, they said that they wouldn t accept me with out mentioning that over the phone so it was a complete waste of my time. Staff was rude and unwelcoming.

The employees are rude, impolite and unprofessional.People need to beg for service. If somebody got a flat tire and the tire wasn't bought at Costco, there is no service. If you decide to buy a single tire you have to be one of the first eight costumers making line from 7:00am (they open at 9:00am). Prices are regular/standard like everywhere else if you don't buy the four of them to get sales price (same special offered by other tire companies). I like Costco Warehouse but the Tire Center is terrible !!!

Let me get this straight.Went in to ask for repair if needed This Costco tire center s employee just looked at my tire and said the nail was too close (~1 ft) to the spot previously repaired , went to ask his coworker and suggested a purchase of all 4 tires costing $800. Maybe it was for a good reason or criteria they set.. but I didn t go with that..Driving off to a local shop for 2nd opinion and discovered that it wasn t a nail but 1/4 inch flat head screw that sticked but didnt puncture my tire. No need to fix nor spend even $1.

They do the job, but they neglected to call me when the car is done, so I wasted the whole day waiting for their call. Forget about calling them and asking, they totally isolated themselves from pesky customer's calls. In the end, I rushed in just before closing, and somebody called me while I was in a train going there, 20 min before closing, and asked if somebody called me.

Horrible place with subpar service: Had 4x new tires installed here 10 month ago. Ended up with a flat tire and checked with Costco that the same tire type was in stock. After getting confirmation I ordered the tire only within minutes. Got an e-Mail from Costco that states "We fulfilled your tire order from the inventory in our location and are ready for installation as soon as today!" After calling Costco to make an appointment for having the tires installed they claim that the tires are not there yet and the e-Mail is wrong. They really need to get their act together. Went to America's Tire instead and had the tire installed within 20 minutes.

I usually go to the Toyota dealer ship for tires because the warranty they have is good and stress free but I made a mistake and went with Costco this time..They said they will change new tires in the first year if you get a nail or anything but they never do at Costco they just fix it and when you get a nail you ll need 2 to 3 for an appointment that you got a nail in your tire and its almost flat. I went there waited 30 mins in the line just to speak with someone and there was only 2 people ahead of me than they guy came out and said you have to leave your car here the whole day just to take off nail and fix it so I had to go somewhere else to fix it so I can go work.If your a busy person and have a tight schedule I highly recommend not to go there.When I had this issue last year I went straight to dealer ship they took in for less than 20min and told me they just fixed the tire because it s in the stock and they will call when it s there so I can go anytime to change the new tire.No stress it s worth time and money

Great prices on quality tires made better with discounts for using your Costco Credit Card in addition to current $70 off set of 4. Total discounts $130 on set of 4! Service may be a bit slow but you save big and free rotation and balance for life of tires. And covers road hazards too.

This place is either woefully understaffed or inefficient or both. The staff was knowledgeable and they did everything to get you take n care of quickly. However the standing in line was unacceptable. I understand that as a walk-in the folks that had an appointment took precedence but mbyy God they were waiting as much as I was. I am disabled and it was nice to know that parking 2as very close but after standing in line 1.5 hrs I was in so much pain I had to go home. A bad situation.Fast Forward 2 days, and the tires that were reordered had arrived. When I got down there I was told that I would have to make an appt for tomorrow as they were shorthanded. At that time I asked for my money back. when asked why I told them I needed to go out of town tonight. Well they got me to leave the car again and it remains to be seen when or if they will install the tiresKAHN AND KEVILLE WHERE ARE YOU WHEN INEED YOU

I came here because I had my tires replaced and they were not balanced correctly at the Airport Costco location. Maybe they were busy and forgot to balance the tires? It did take over 2 hours at this location just to balance the tires but no more vibrations at highway speeds!Also, this SF Costco tire location put a plastic cover on both the driver seat and the steering wheel which did not happen when I brought my cars into the Airport Costco location.All locations are slow bc the mechanics are running back and forth to the register and then to work on the cars. Smaller indie places don't have this issue usually bc they don't book and have tons of walk-ins. The plus side is the warranty is available at any Costco you go to.

Great customer service at the tire shop. Noticed my front driver side tire was busting at the seam, not safe to drive, now I know why the car started shaking when I drove on the freeway smh. Figured I might as well buy a set of new tires and costco usually has a deal going. I walked-in on a Friday around 11:30am. Purchased 4 new tires 80k warranty for approximately $440. I didn't have time to make an appointment as I mentioned my front tire was about to pop at any moment. I asked if they could squeeze me in same day? The guy said they could get it done same day, but couldn't make any promises as to how long it would take. Appointments come first. Wait time could be 1 hr could be 7 hrs all depends. I told him my cars not safe to drive, keep the car, I'll call an uber, call me when it's ready. I decided to walk around Costco burn sometime and see if they have anything I need/want. After walking down each isle and making a mental note of everything I plan to buy when my car was ready, about 45min I decided to walk by the tire center before calling an Uber. To my surprise my car was being worked on Yes!!! U-Turn! Went back inside Costco bought the things on my mental list walked back to the tire shop and my car was ready for pick up! Lucky me right in time for Memorial Day weekend

I've had them put 2 sets of tires on my car in the 8 years I've owned it. They usually overestimate how long it will take them. Use the new appointment website! Now you don't have to show up when they open. Great prices if you like Michelin, Bridgestone, or BF Goodrich tires. I've always ordered special-order tires from the website, they show up in a day or two normally.
