I've been bringing my car to City Auto Tech for over 10 years. They always take good care of me (and my car). The staff is great, and I always feel like I'm being treated like a valued customer, not someone who knows nothing about cars. I have referred several friends to them with the utmost confidence.

I went for a brake light issue. I left my car at 11am and they returned it around 5pm. I asked him to check the brakes too. They charged me $120 for the inspection and they told me I have to pay $375 just for the part. I refused to pay that much for a light change and left. When I got home I noticed that the old light worked fine, it was just unplugged. I had to come back because they left the back of my trunk opened . I also told him the light was working fine so I needed the same light and the back side to put it back. When I got home I noticed he put the light but was unplugged and he also hid the wire! This is unprofessional and dishonest. I paid $120 for nothing. In addition I didn t receive any receipt for that.

This shop is farthest most best auto mechanic and body shop all in one. They were so helpful, the workers were friendly most didn't speak English but their willingness to help was awesome. The owner is an amazing person. He works with you if you having financial problems, he's understanding but that goes both ways . Hands down, they did an amazing job on my Armada. Got into an accident and they turn my beast into a brand new baby. Thankfully it was mostly body parts, but they did an amazing job. They are definitely my to go shop in the city.

I haven't used their services, but it is recommended to check their references and certifications before hiring them. It's also a good idea to get a quote and compare prices with other auto repair shops in the area to ensure you are getting a fair price for the services you need.

I went to City Auto Tech in August 2021 to talk to the owner Lou and explained the after market part placed in my car and showed It to him and asked him to explain how he thinks this happened and to also talk to his mechanic Mel. Lou was of no help, and stated that if the part was not listed on their invoice from June 2021, then they did not put it there and he stated he doesn't know who put it there and stated his shop wouldn't replace it for free. Lou was not willing to hold his mechanic accountable as it is possible that Mel damaged the original OEM solenoid and tried to cover up his mistake by not listing it on invoice or telling me as the owner of the car. When Lou asked Mel with me present, Mel didn't have much to say and ended up walking away to work on other cars.City Auto Tech is not a trustworthy auto shop and they do not have good workmanship or integrity. I, as a customer who had to pay them $818 and then have issues with my car after their job was done, do not feel valued and I feel screwed over by them. I do not feel they are fair and they do not do a good job.My family mechanic also informed me that Mel at City Auto Tech did not put the right oil in my car when he did the oil change. All of his errors were identified and felt as I drove the car and I had to pay another $1,000 for my car to actually get fixed the right way. City Auto Tech is no good, and I wish I never took my car to them. They wasted my time, took my money, and made damages to my car. I would not recommend any of their mechanics work on your car. I will not go to City Auto Tech again.

I had my car towed to city auto Tech.They gave me the run around and told me i had to pay for a diagnostic test.cause that's the only way he can find out what's wrong.So after the test didn't find the problem he said he wanted to start changing parts until we find the problem.I didn't want to do that wasting money and paying labor yeah right so I was like nevermindI'm taking to the dealer.Then he said he knows what the problem was and 1400 to fix.No that's okay I'm taking it somewhere else he said okay 1200 I was like no he said 800 I was like no I'm okay I don't want you working on my car.He thought since I towed it there I wasn't going to pay tow it somewhere else but I did I asked for the diagnostic test being he made me pay for it before I could tow car to another shop and got irritated with me cause I made my mind up he was clearly trying to get over on me seeing how much money he can get cause my situation I never went back there and never would I was a hard time for me and he tried to take advantage of me. DON'T GO HERE. I could only imagine the woman and old people he probably gets over on.

I popped into this place today in a panic because my tire popped on the freeway and was completely flat. Without hesitation, they took a look at it and once they realized it was not repairable, they put on my spare tire free of charge and very quickly. They made me feel so much better in an extremely stressful situation and I really appreciate it. Trustworthy people!

Thanks for the auto repair to our Jeep. It turned out great. I really appreciate that I was referred to such a quality auto body shop. I am so delighted from the fast response! My car started to stop very difficultly and I was very worried! I went to City Auto Tech and the immediately understood that my car need for brake repair. They called to somebody and the parts arrived after ten minutes, before that they already was removed the old brakes and installed the new. And the all repair continued a half hour! Thank you once again for the quick job!

I went in for an oil change and received absolutely zero pressure to "buy a new this" or "replace that". They made a few recommendations but did an awesome job making me feel like they were just recommendations. I'm going to do my homework on the suggested repairs and I know who I will be dealing with if I choose to move forward with them.

The owner was down to earth guy who got my brake pads replaced for a good price. I brought my own parts and one sensor was wrong (NAPA gave me the wrong part), they were able to source one immediately and get it delivered to the shop in 1 hour then got my car ready shortly after.

I've been going to Lou for over 20 years he has fixed a variety of my cars from a Cadillac 2 Volkswagen and all the way to a Porsche I definitely recommend this place fair prices quality work and everything done on time

These are my go to guys! They are fast and efficient, very knowledgeable of cars and ncot too expensive! They keep you updated every step of the way. I love this shop and i recommend it to everyone!

Great service. Walked in and out without any issues and quick smog check. City Auto Tech is the place to go for smog check or auto repair service. Excellent price and very professional service!

this place is great Lu , Mel, and all of the guys are great and take time to help, and the work is very good, they can work on any car and year, they have worked on my 1960 Lincoln , Rocky B.

Got my brakes and tires done cheap but having a lot of problem after and their making a lot of weird noises. It sounds really screwed up and I got a car that's a year old.

This place has to be the worst on the planet.first of all the customer service sucks.they are very dishonest...i went to have brakes installed, and left with $700.00 dollars worth of suspension problems.if you have money you want to give away then go get your car repair" i guarantee you they willCompletely take advantage of youand ruin your car...
