Hands down best mechanic I've used since Moss Motors closed 10 years ago. You can read my review for the Honda dealership on Van Ness. I took my car to a different independent mechanic after Honda and before Bob, who said the RF axel and half shaft did need replacing but they could do it for $700 less than Honda quoted. Bob straight up told me nothing was wrong other than my brakes were at 30%. He is super Informative and a great teacher of all things cars. Such a relief to have an honest hard working mechanic.

If I could leave more stars I would.Bob was not only honest and upfront about what he would be doing, he saved me lots of time and money for front break pad and rotor replacements where another establishment tried to tell me I needed to do both rear and front breaks done. He provided me a full summary on the % life remaining on all four break pads and also removed a nail from my tire that had not punctured all the way through. Overall I would trust him again with any work I need done on my vehicle and I can t say the same for any other shop in the area

Bob was fantastic. He had reasonable prices, worked fast, but above all he was very kind. He has a small shop so it was easy to just pull up and have him help me with my car. We were very pleased with his service. I will be coming back to him for my car needs.Service: TiresService: Tires

First off he's a true professional there isn't a car I feel he can't diagnose and let you know what's going on with it if you have a problem with your vehicle take it to Richmond Auto he will definitely let you know what's wrong with it great guy just loves to talk a lot.

Super Kind, Great Price and LIGHTNING FAST! He was there 15 minutes after I called and I'm not from the area and I was so worried about having to get my car jumped and Roberto was super sweet and a huge help! The real MVP! Now I know exactly who to call when I'm in the city in need of car assistance!

I understand that diagnosing problems should not be free, but charging over $300 for it is a bit excessive. No wonder half of the reviews are from out of town. Will not be returning to the shop
