This company is a scam. They towed my car from private property without securing proper documentation. Then the owner was rude and volatile, posting personal information on the internet. This operation is a scam and a front for some nefarious people. Stay away.

Predatory tow yard, that the owners seem to think it's okay to steal people hard earned vehicles, on top of stealing our tax dollars for their welfare. The owners of this company have been arrested for collecting welfare while making $2M a year. Jose Badillo bought a Lamborghini with his EBT card... Hahahahaha enjoy prison

Daniel did a fantastic job. Super nice and understanding of my situation. He was very professional and fast. He treated my car carefully as not to damage anything. Good man. I'd definitely use Daniel again. He is a hard worker. Must tip this man

An Auto Towing driver hit a killed a 11-mo old puppy in our shared parking lot area and the driver didn't even stop! Owner hasn't called back to address. Dispatch has been very rude regarding the incident. Do not recommend.

Got quoted here for half the price as other companies to tow my car from SF to Oakland. The driver was very nice and helped me out by recommending a new body shop when Kia Oakland would not take my car (even though I had an appointment).

I would have given this company a 2 stars but our experience quickly changed for the better. Daniel from AutoTowing is the best man for the job and the best man at the company. Our car broke down on the Bay Bridge and we had to get pushed off into Oakland and we were told to wait 15 min for a tow truck. We waited almost two hours (at 2 in the morning) for a truck to come and we received a call saying they wouldn t be able to get to us. Once we got home we got a call from Daniel (who was supposed to be enjoying his day off, but unfortunately his boss made him clock in to help us) and he towed our car all the way back to San Francisco quickly and safely. This man went above and beyond his duties and should be rightfully praised through a raise, promotion, or paid days off. We appreciate Daniel so much for helping us and he is the best man for the job!Services: Car lockouts, Car towing

They are dishonest. I suggest to avoid this business if possible.I was involved in a collision in San Francisco, and they showed up to tow the other vehicle involved in the accident. They offered their services to us and gave my husband a quote of $275 to tow our car to an auto body repair shop that my husband had selected 0.4 miles away. Unfortunately, we did not go with them or think to call the auto body shop to notify them of the quoted price, as we were busy talking to the police/insurance on the phone. When we got to the auto body shop maybe 30 minutes later, we found out they had charged the owner $330, which the owner had paid before we arrived and the cost was passed onto us. In the end, $55 isn't going to break us, but this is really unprofessional behavior.My husband has tried contacting them. If this doesn't work out, we plan to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.Posted this same review on Yelp.Service: Car towing

They were excellent!! My car was towed due to being in front on a driveway and the Man and Abigail helped me get my vehicle within 30 minutes. Okay hen I got to my car everything was there and they were very respectful, helped me in every way! It also wasn t that much VERY REASONABLE and AFFORDABLE! I look forward to using their devices in the future for ANY auto tows or troubles. THANK YOU AUTO TOW !!

Honestly this is the worst auto service I ve had to deal with. After telling me they will be here in 1 hour, no one showed up. The numbers to call ceased to answer. I waited 2 more hours and nothing. Finally got on the phone with them, and got insulted by the lady on the phone. Truly the worst I could have imagined. Try to avoid that at all cost, any other towing company would have done better

They were excellent!! My three-day old car was parked front-in in a garage with 6' clearance and its battery was completely dead. When no one else would do it and I thought I was screwed, Juan came out with a new battery barely an hour after I called. He quickly swapped them out and made sure the new one was running well before leaving. They saved my butt!!

Daniel was excellent in his professional work. He was able to get the car on a hill on his tow truck with ease. He was very thoughtful and his customer service was excellent! All of my Car wheels & Rims got stolen and my car was left in 2 bricks, Auto Tow got here fast and quick, took my car without any damages I called 2 different Towing Companies and all they said We can t tow your car they got it done in a few minutes no complains but got it done nicely and quick! 10/10 Costumer service too!!If you ever need a great towing Company Call Auto Tow!!!Service: Car towing

This company responded quickly and remained in contact when they had to deal with a non-existent drop address initially. They accepted a second dropoff location and delivered the motorcycle in short order and ensured that it was parked legally in a safe place. Handy towed a vehicle inside the labyrinthine garage of a Pacific Heights condo building with expert skill, navigating the numerous concrete piles and other parked cars with the care and precision of a surgeon and a million-dollar attitude. They were super helpful and got to me so quickly even though it was late at night. Professional and fare with the price... I shopped around and called 4 different tow companies and they were cheaper than everyone that I called. Amazing experience! My car engine died on me and was unable to take off park and on to neutral . I called three towing companies who came to me just to tell me they can t help me and I need an industrial tow truck. HOWEVER, I made a fourth call to Auto Towing and Juan C answered and provided excellent and quick service . He had no problem towing it and did it in a safe way . Definitely recommend this towing truck service !Service: Car towing

Carlos Obando told us it would be $125 to drop the car but then when payment came, he demanded $503 in cash or he wouldn't release the car to us. After arguing about him lying he tried to justify it by saying he wanted to make more money in cash, so that's why he lied. The driver ended up helping us release our vehicle for a justified price.

Today we had a really bad accident. My brother was helping me find a tow service that could provide accident towing. It took a few tries to find a service that provided pricing within my budget, and was near my location. The owner happened to be onsite helping me and took care of my car better than I could've ever asked. Thanks, guys, for your help, I will recommend you to anyone in the future.Service: Car towing

It's a mafia company that rackets honest people! They towed our car when I was buying groceries at Safeway on Mission Street after 20 minutes of parking! They let us 4 hours freezing in the street in the middle of the night, people over the phone were pretended to not be the right person to talk, and they charged us $500 to get the car back! It's the worst experience I ever had! According to the law, they are not contracted by Safeway for what they did to us! It's a robbery and if you need a towing service in case of accident or problem with your car, you should never deal with these pirates! NEVER

These guys took about an hour to get to my location. Once the driver picked me up though, he told me they had got backed up with their previous towing service. My battery had died, so I kept calling my roadside assistance company and they couldn t find me a tow service after 2 hours. I got fed up with the wait and called these guys. I was glad to pay out of my pocket to someone that actually showed up.Services: Battery service, Car towing, Battery

Our trailer was stuck. I called at least 6 other towing companies... at 5 am this company was the only one to answer. They requested a pic to assess the problem. And send proper equipment... they had a tow truck there in 15 minutes... (this was in San Francisco)We were blocking a driveway... I was overwhelmed by the problems our equiptment prevented others to enter. Last night I was towed by Oscar, this driver was speedy in his arrival, truck was very clean and he was very friendly.After a very tramatic accident, I was extremely relieved that this driver and his willingness to help me figure out what to do, with his very friendly advise, in a moment where I could not think clearly, he went out of his way to make the experience above and beyond for me and my kids, I highly recommend this driver.

I used this company twice. To tow my boat trailer. On both times they did an excellent job. Frank the tow truck driver is amazing. The most pleasant helpful person you can ever meet , Thank you
