Rude manager. Lots of barely trained personnel. Get here to return parts. Ponytail started telling me that part was installed. It is not true. For his information all parts are usually pre-lubricated. Not recommended to anyone. Unprofessional people working there.

I just needed my battery checked. They asked me to wait since there were only 2 people that worked there and another one would be back in 12 mins. After about 15 I went back inside and they told me they would be out. I waited almost 1 hour before I had to go back in and ask again. Battery was dead and I had to buy a new one which they wouldn't install for me. Very unsatisfied with my care. Should have gone to O'Reilly's.

Probably the best car related experience I have had. A warning light came on; they helped diagnosis the problem, actually connected me with a local mechanical, helped facilitate the correct parts that I would need efficiently. Turned what could have been a very stressful experience into probably the best customer service experience I have been on the receiving in years. I will be bringing them all my business going forward.

This business is not too big, but it is a commodating.If they don't have what you are looking for they will find it or order it. They also do price matching.

Been going to autozone For a while, remind a mine works there.On weekends, it gets busy during the week. It's o k, Counter people are very helpful and take the time to help you check it out. Ask for Lewis The store manager.

I drove 15 minutes including 10 past an O'Reilly's only to have to turn around and go to O'Reilly's. I spent the last 10 minutes of the store being open looking at seat covers. I was politely warned by the friendly workers that they close in one minute at 8 o'clock and not 9. I would've just got the car part I needed if I would've known this before hand.

No battery install in SF locations - other stores on Peninsula SJ do battery installs so call 1st. Not busy store slow paced service

I went there got my parts and I thought I bought the wrong lights but the employee Manwell who works at the AutoZone on ceasar Chavez and south Van ness came outside and reassured me I bought the right one and he put my bulbs in for me and was very very nice and helpful. I recommend that location to EVERYONE!!!

Such an awesome corporate shop with a "mom and pop" feel. Staff is very knowledgeable, friendly AND easy to approach about your auto concerns. Keep up the great work, guys!

Cheap outfit. Quick to charge huge prices when they can get away with it. And don't stand behind it when something goes wrong. Just go look at the prices on line and then look here. Only worse is pick and pull

Called to ask about a car battery test and replacement if it was needed. Whoever I spoke with was pretty rude about me even asking for this. Also offered no suggestion on when would be a better time that they could swap out a battery.

I don t remember his name, but the assistant store manager went definitely above & beyond for us today. Thanks to his kindness he saved us a lot of money, and was so helpful with everything. Definitely will go back just for how we were treated!

Staff are moderately helpful but a bit slow. I usually know the item numbers of the products I'm in there to buy yet it takes the staff forever to get me the items from the area behind the counter. They're not very knowledgeable so you'll need to know what you need before you walk in.

My grandfather was disrespected here. He was in the navy for 20 years and was refused a military discount. People like Grandpa Chester put their life on the line for our country, and this is how they get treated? I would advise you take your business elsewhere if you care at all about our veterans.

The 2 stars raring is not directed against the employees who served me today (09-05-2020). The company has programmed their computers to charge you a core deposit fee of $18, you are refunded this money when you bring back the old replaced battery. That core deposit is taxed, but when you return the old battery, only $18 are refunded. That means they keep $1.53 or your money. They kept my money.This is not much but this is stealing. We have to stop this. Imagine buying something from a store and once you return it, they do not refund the payment amount. That means you can't buy a similar item with the credited money.We love to pay taxes when we use taxable goods by the same token we want to get our taxed refund in full amount if we return the goods. If you have experienced this at this store or any similar practices somewhere, please write about it and we can mount a class action against them. We have the means!

Left my lights on and drained my battery. Not the best way to start the day on an otherwise beautiful Sunday morning. After getting my car jump started, I wanted to have the battery checked to make sure it was still good. I was hesitant to turn the car, off so I called them first to make sure they could provide the service, and give me another jump start if necessary. Jason answered the phone, confirmed that they could, and told me to come on down. Jason, even though it was the end of his shift, was patient, courteous, and very helpful. He took my battery out, charged it, and confirmed the battery was fine. In addition, they checked my alternator and starter and confirmed the same. There was no charge for the service, even without making a purchase. Shout out to Jason (who normally works out of the Richmond store), and AutoZone, for their excellent customer service. Made the best out of a stressful situation. When the time comes for a new battery, I know where I'm going.

the staff of auto zone de la cesar Ch�vez. not friendly at all, came in the morning to buy some lights for my car, the turn signals. there were no customers, there were two men serving, one Asian and the other A young white man was waiting for around 10 minutes, they talked among themselves, the young man asked the Asian for the Daly City autozon number, to which he called the store and began to talk.The Asian man turns and tells me. How can I help you ..tell him yes and the phone rings and he starts talking and laughing at the call and leaves me waiting he didn't say give me a second oh the one I was calling give me a second I have a client ...he didn't nothing...I see the young man And I asked him are you available and with a bad gesture he says yes... I tell him I want and I tell him if someone can help me change the light he said no we don't do that but in the TV ads they say The AutoZone will kindly help you with whatever you need if you need a tool or change a light or check what your car needs, what it says is only on TV I tell them give me the tools I'm going to try to change it, it tells me you need a screwdriver? I tell him it's no other, the truth is I don't know about tools I'm a woman I tell him why don't you check in my car which one I need and if it was with me And he saw what tools they were, he gave them to me (I really couldn't, I don't know what tools they were or how to use them... when I came back the tool was another Asian and I handed him the tool and asked again if Can someone help me answer it I can't leave alone here I am alone and there were like 5 other men??? He told me you need pay a mechanic. conclusion ai the staff is not willing to help the client And they are not kind because they lie ??I told him I would put a bad review and he said he didn't care......Why do they say the opposite on TV commercials?

It's the worst store I've ever been to! the employees are rude, if you need to make an exchange or return, be prepared because they will make your life difficult. I will absolutely never step into this store again and do not recommend it to anyone!
