I brought in my 2003 4Runner for new CV axles and suspension work. Communication, service, and work performed were all top notch. My vehicle has a lift kit, and Larry patiently talked through solutions to make sure the non-factory suspension was in the best shape possible.Turnaround from bringing my vehicle in all the way through diagnosing, ordering parts, and having the work completed was 24 hours. This included an alignment after suspension work was completed and diagnosing and fixing an issue with a belt pulley that I was unaware of. I've never had this level of work performed so quickly, especially when requesting specific aftermarket components that needed to be ordered.Cost of components was reasonable, and they have a great warranty covering their parts and work. Labor charges were pricey, but you pay for fast, quality service in the middle of the city. Great work at a fair price is always better than fair work at a great price.Thanks again to Larry and the team at Automotive Clinic.

Automotive Clinic has been our garage/mechanic of choice for over 25 years. They are knowledgeable, efficient, and provide superb customer service. They tell the truth. They provide options about what you need and also tell you what you don t need. They are not the cheapest or the most expensive, but they are the best. We will always rely on them for all our auto service needs. Finally, the people at Automotive Clinic are kind and thoughtful. They go the extra mile. I will always be grateful for their help and support when I couldn t drive but still needed a car serviced.

My car engine failed while in the VA Hospital parking lot over 300 miles from home. I was towed to AC Automotive Clinic and expected the usual "we can look at it in three days" which is the norm in my home community. I was somewhat amazed when they had someone under the hood while I was still giving information to the service manager.Both service managers were outstanding, but Larry Nasey who handled my problem went above and beyond. The problem turned out to be quite unusual, but they pinpointed it and worked on getting a diagnosis until six that night. In the mean time Larry called us a cab and got us to a motel. He followed up the next morning and sent digital pictures and videos of the problem. Turned out to be a catastrophic engine failure and I decided it was not economically feasible to repair it. Larry agreed to handle getting it to a salvage business and directed me to a good deal on a rental to get back home. He made the whole experience less stressful and handled the whole process with a calm and professional demeanor. Bottom line- can't say enough about this business. One of the best I've dealt with.

I just want to say thank you so much to Larry and his team! I got a flat unexpectedly coming in from out of town! They got me in and held my car until they were able work on it the next day! I dropped off right at closing. Though these expenses are never fun lol, they went above and beyond to make sure I was at ease and taken care from beginning to end! And I made it home safely with no issues! I m not even from here and I would highly recommend! Thank you so much again!

Couldn t have asked for better service. My car completely crapped out - as in, the engine wouldn t even start anymore - right before an international trip I was going on. Larry took my car in, and after striking up a good-natured conversation, assured me I could leave my car there for 2 weeks until I returned.After patiently waiting for me to return, I was faced with a pretty steep bill to fix my car. Larry and his team were very helpful in explaining why the costs were needed, and even helped me out with a flexible payment plan!I felt like very well taken care of. He is not the type of person to take advantage of someone in a tough spot, like I was! I couldn t ask for a better mechanic in my time of need. I m definitely coming back to him for future service needs, and you should give him your business as well!

Got a deflated tire from a nail. Dropped it off at 7:30am and they fixed it within an hour. Larry was so helpful!! Love the guys working there. Excellent service!

Clear and concise direction and quotes for repair items. Their report includes pics and itemizes all issues that should and could be resolved. Great shop, definitely recommend. They repaired our 2015 MBZ diesel suv and did the recommended service interval.

I had neglected my 2015 Golf for a while, and I was not sure when it had been serviced or what it might need. I called Larry at Auto Clinic, who had all the details. I got an appointment in 2 days and the service was extremely thorough. I received texts detailing everything that was checked, with photos, and a couple of recommendations. I talked to the mechanic, Buzz, who offered sound suggestions about next steps, and took care of everything quickly. These folks are knowledgeable, professional, clear, straightforward, and a pleasure to deal with. Oh and great people too. Their work was thorough and fast coolant change, plus ordering and installing new tires within 24 hours, which worked really well for me.Larry and Buzz were a joy to work with, communicating with me regularly throughout the process, and are simply very friendly, to boot. The garage is only a block from me, and it s a neighborhood institution. I ll definitely go to them again for my auto repair needs.Services: Tires, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment

Had a tire that went flat and I was mentally preparing to have to replace all four. Larry was able to repair the flat tire and said the other 3 were still good. That s the kind of honest service you can expect from Larry and it s the reason I always go back to him.

I came in with my check engine light on needing to pass smog and Larry quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it in a day. I also asked around other shops for quotes and this shop was very competitive. These guys are honest. Everyone in the reviews shouts out Larry �and for good reason. I got a flat tire in SF, and this was the only shop that was available and willing to help immediately. Even though they didn't have the right tires on hand, they managed to transfer them from another shop and install the tires the day after, much faster than we could have expected during Christmas weekend. Larry at the front desk was super helpful; he explained all the options very clearly and helped us make a fair and informed choice.

My Volvo got a flat tire on union street and was able to pump it up enough to get to automotive clinic. Not only were they SO kind on the phone in a very stressful moment but they got my car in and out quickly. I didn t get over charged and the whole team was so kind. My first time as a car owner not feeling taken advantage of! Highly recommend!!

Couldn t have asked for better service! From start to finish there was A+ communication. I really liked the online report since I m not always available by phone. Derek kept me informed, made me aware of other issues they found, but never made me feel pressured to fix them.I was also surprised at how quick the turnover was. When needing repairs I won t hesitate to take my car to Automotive clinic.My service was for alternator belt replacement, timing belt, radiator hoses, trans fluid and a few other smaller things.

I drove my car to the Auto Clinic shop, where it died right by the entrance. Larryrestarted my car and drove it inside.Within half an hour, one of his mechanics, Sampson, diagnosed my car with a bad alternator. The following day, I received a phone call from Larry that my car was ready. I felt relieved because I considered it an emergency. Took my 2007 Rav4 in when the transmission failed. It had low miles and in great condition otherwise so we were torn whether to repair or not. Larry took so much of his time to explain each step of the inspection and the communication was very prompt and done quickly. I can t say enough about how much it meant to have Larry s calm and guiding voice during this process. He felt like the father I needed in this moment since my Dad is no longer with us and as I loved this car and hated to give her up. We decided not to repair as it wasn t cost effective but they were patient with me as I took time to decide and didn t push me to get the car out of their shop while I organized a pickup from an auction place. I will 100% use them in the future. Thank you Larry!!

The clinic was 0.3 miles from where our 2012 expedition el wouldn t turn over. AAA towed them because they work all day Saturday. Team manhandled my huge vehicle into the shop and diagnosed it. Fixed an electrical issue and got us back on road. Five star recommendation

Great experience! Had issues with my heat/ AC that they fixed quickly (and at a great price). Worth every penny! They sent detailed reports full of photos to explain the problem and show the final fix.

When I needed a repair in a city I did not live in AAA referred me to Automotive Clinic Inc. They got my car in the day I called and Larry was very informative and kept me updated as the work progressed. They diagnosed the issue quickly and were able to obtain the parts (auxiliary battery for my hybrid Toyota Highlander) and make the repair quickly. They worked with my automotive warranty company and submitted a repair request for me before the work got started. They even picked me up when the work was complete! I found them very professional and knowledgeable in the workings of my vehicle. Definitely glad I was referred to them and I ll most certainly be using them again for my automotive needs!Service: Auto battery replacement

They have continually taken great care of me a customer on three occasions, and fixing my car with less expenses,Then my Toyota service would be charging me. In addition I witnessed many other customers coming in and being very thankful and grateful for the services that they provided them. Larry opened the shop at 6:30am! He is on time professional and will have your vehicle running again with in 48 hours or less! I am happy I found him; the Automotive Clinic! The Team that makes up the Automotive Clinic are a wonderful bunch of professional people that take care of your vehicle as if it was their own.
