Was able to book online for an appointment within 30 minutes of my desired arrival. Got in fast and walked out 15 minutes later with my passing documents. There are a couple of auto shops at this address so pay attention to the suite number. Just pull around the back entrance if the front door is locked.

Made an appointment online (very easy). Though the technician arrived a little bit late (traffic detour in the surrounding area), he was very professional and efficient completing the test, certifications and payments in approximately 20 minutes. I recommend Advance Smog and remember to make an appointment online for the best service.

Took my car in for a smog inspection. It was super easy to schedule an appointment online. When I arrived, the gentleman working was expecting me and was ready to start the inspection. It took about 15 minutes and he let me know that the information had been sent to the DMV and when to expect my sticker before I was in my way. For being in a pandemic, my experience here was excellent. When I arrived, there was no line and I was immediately able to pull into the shop. The owner was masked and gloved. I was masked. I laid down the smog paperwork. He said go sit for 15 minutes. I have a 2000 Civic. Older cars have a different longer test than newer cars. He did all the smog stuff. It was 65$ total. He laid down the paperwork marked where i needed to sign. Overall a very stress free experience. You can call ahead or drive up for service.

This was my first time here, so I decided to make an appointment online. I took my Honda CRV for the smog test I met Sebastian, who I believe is the owner of this establishment. He was courteous, friendly, and professional.He took my car in at my appointment time. Sebastian completed the smog test within 15 minutes. I was happy with the service, easy breezy.I'll definitely be back here for my next smog test. Thank you Sebastian!

Advanced smog- test receives my absolute highest recommendation. I found this shop last week and received such excellent service that I have actively been recommending it shop to family and friends (so I figured I might as well write a review).It already had such great reviews so I figured I d give it a shot -even though it s a few miles out from where I stay. Everyone I interacted with in the shop was nothing less than genuinely helpful. After coming from a long day of work I was pleasantly surprised that there was no wait, friendly service, and a great price. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes! Will definitely come here again the next time I need a smog check!

At 4:30 pm I was able to make the smog check appointment for same day at 5 pm. I arrived at 4:57 when the previous car was leaving the garage. The whole procedure took about 10 minutes. Excellent service in timely manner! Highly recommended!

Probably the best Smog experience I have had, and I failed! Made an appointment online for my 1989 truck, another shop quoted $125+cert then dropped to $85 after I told them i had found a better deal, not how you win my business! $75+cert advertised price here. Pulled up at my appointment time as Sebastian was just finishing another car, perfect timing. He backed my truck onto the dyno, and told me to take a seat and relax, it would be about 20 mins. At around minute 35 i became a little worried, looked over and saw him under my car for quite a while. I later found out that my truck had passed every aspect of the test except, Sebastian couldn't read the CARB EO number on the catalytic converter because it had gotten rusted over probably due to a combo of salty air and leaking oil burning on it. This number was required to be input into the smog system for verification. Sebastian was under the car scrubbing, brushing, using chalk, shining light from all angles and he still couldn't get the last three digits. He took the time to explain this to me and said if I could get the numbers to show to bring it back and he would re-test for a nominal fee. When i got home i went to town on the metal with a wire wheel and a drill, and just barely got the numbers to show. Back to Advanced Smog in and out within 20 mins and a pass! Excellent customer service, fair price (even for pre 96 cars) and Sebastian is a cool dude who is easy to talk with, highly recommend this shop!Service: Smog certification

I had come here for my previous smog test and had a good experience. Unfortunately this time they refused to honor the pricing (specific to my older car pricing) for their SmogTips coupon promotion. I'd suggest that the business correct or stop running pricing promotions if they don't plan to accept them. However this seems to be common practice among a lot of stations ( at least for the older car advertised price). Also if it matters to you, ensure you confirm the fees for retest (not all stations offer that, just a reminder). I went on a Saturday, no wait, not busy.

Excellent! Professional and fast! Got my Dodge Sprinter 2500 smog checked and it took 15 minutes tops. Best if you call to set up an appointment.

I came in at 10:30 am on a Thursday morning and was out by 11:00. There was someone else ahead of me but the wait time is negligible. The technician was very professional and friendly. Highly recommended! A+++!!!

Came here for a smog check. They were generous both on the phone and in person. I tried other auto shops and they were nearly impossible to communicate with over the phone but Advanced Smog was great to work with. Quick, easy and good price! I'll def come here again for any car issues.

Is it possible to have a good experience with a smog check? I had one today. Made the online appointment (easy process on their site), showed up on time, and passed the smog test. Pro-tip: there is a really cool brewery across the street with food too, but it opens at 3PM and is closed Mondays. Soooooo... make your appointment for 4PM, and smog like a boss!

Pulled into the garage at 5:32 for a 5:30 appointment. Technician was immediately and extremely rude and told me to show up on time or not at all. I apologized and asked if there was anyway he could fit me in. He said he wasn t getting paid enough to do this and after a string of insulting comments he then admitted that they had in fact double booked the 5:30 slot, so it would not have mattered if I had arrived at or before 5:30. Did not reschedule with this company.

What an pointless nightmare experience. I booked a smog appointment online. So far, so good. I got there a few mins early. I spoke with the owner, and told him about my appt and my vehicle. He immediately told me "look bro, I'll do the smog, but you gotta remove the dog house" I didn't even know what he meant at first and then figured out that he was talking about an engine cover that is inside the cabin of some full size vans. I explained to him that 1) I've owned this van for 12 years and never had to do that, even when I've worked on it myself and 2) the "engine cover" does not even come off in this van. He argued with me and said "you gottta remove the dog house" I asked him to look at the inside of the van for 5 seconds and he would be able to see that it's a modern vehicle and there is only cup holders and glove box where he thinks the "dog house" should be. He refused to even look at it. What a waste of time. And all because he couldn't take being wrong

Dont listen to the haters, some people will complain about personal appearance because they are insecure.Eric Yih was friendly and professional. Explained the fees up front and my smog check was done quickly. Out the door with paperwork done and reg stickers in hand in 20 minutes.And all on a Saturday.

False advertisement. When you book online, it says $30 for a smog test for vehicles year 2000 and up. My van was 2006. The actual charge for a smog check is $55 plus additional $8.25 for the certificate and ETF $1.75. Using a credit card is additional $3.99 fee. Good thing i happened to have cash.

False advertising. "Lowest price guaranteed. Find a lower price and we'll match it." I found a lower price from a shop in Burlingham, and also at the shop I got my smog check from last time in San Francisco. When I showed up to redeem the offer the shop employee stated that the shop does not match prices from San Francisco or Burlingham. Nowhere did this exclusion appear within the offer on the website. I brought this fact to the attention of the shop employee. No explanation was offered. I left.
