Took a chance on a new shop and was very satisfied I had a lot wrong with my car and Andy worked with me with what should be addressed first and what could wait very honest and has his customers best interest as his main priority . Honest and trustworthy.. would definitely go back and recommend to friends and family!

I found Western Auto Service online and by happenstance the owner came highly recommended by my now retired previous mechanic of twenty years, Hontech.I'm glad I left my car in such trustworthy and capable hands.

I cannot express the gratitude I have for Andy and the guys at Western Auto. I m new in town and my Toyota RAV4 died with little warning. Western Auto went out of their way to work on my car even though I didn t have appointment and got it back to me in perfect condition within 2 days.The shop is awesome. Communication was consistent and clear. I won t take my old SUV anywhere else in San Diego when it inevitably needs some more repairs.A sincere thanksRicardo H.

I trust Andy and his team. I've been going to Western Auto for almost 5 years for oil changes, tune ups, and inspections. If you don't have auto repair knowledge or you are femme identifying (and don't want to be treated like you're stupid), go to Andy. Andy performed the inspection of my 2005 Scion TC when I put it up for sale in 2018. It was Andy's inspection that helped me sell for a fair price. Another reason I appreciate Andy is his moral and ethical stance on how he operates his business on the foundation of trust through high quality and safe auto work for repeat customers. He has experience working at big dealships and left that work culture because he didn't want to continue in the unethical practices of dealerships that are the norm - scaringfscaring into getting new equipment or services to make commission off them because the customers don't have car repair knowledge. Andy always communicates your options, the prices, and the short and long term consequences of the various options. He is throrough in his explanations and cares about his customers. Make an appointment, especially if you have schedule constraints, he does get booked, so an appointment is the easiest way to ensure fast service the day you bring your car in. The guys at WESTERN AUTO SERVICE INC really know their stuff. Andy really takes his time explaining exactly what needs to be done and why. No surprises. If you're looking for an all around fantastic mechanic and service, this is the location. Andy as well as his group as well as time and also time once again offered me assurance when it pertains to anything with my cars. I'm always maintained notified and also never ever as soon as has actually felt capitalized on. If I could provide Andy 10 celebrities I would. God prohibited the day I ever need to move out of San Diego since I would not recognize what to do without this high quality of work.

I searched on internet which Honda Specialist Repair Shop in San Diego will accommodate and repair my Saturn Vue with Honda engine on it specifically J35A3 and they are the only one who welcome me. I've been told by the other shops that they only repair Japanese brand car and my Vue is a GM.I'm very satisfied with their service. Andy is very welcoming and very nice service advisor. I know that its hard to find a shop that you can trust this days but I trusted this guys especially when it comes to the engine itself.If you want a great service at the right price, just come in here. I assure you. Your car is in good hands.

Highly recommend! Took my Acura RDX 2007 in and they treated it with love and care. Had a hideous dent I'd had for years and never dealt with it. They fixed it up beautifully and my car looks like new. They even realigned my tires at no charge. Andy is a great to work with. Clearly explains everything and is honest. I'll be taking my Acura here from now on!

This is my spot. I've been coming here for years with my past 2 cars. They're reliable and honest. I'm the person that calls 7-10 people for pricing on service for my car, not only do I want a good deal but also done correctly. And they do both. Highly recommend this place. Ask for Andy.

Great repair shop very knowledgeable and honest, my wife took her car there a couple months back and they diagnosed and fixed it. Car is running great. I recently had too take my car there and Andy the team took care of my car aswell. Thank u guys! will recommend their shop too anyone who needs repairs and dont want to get ripped off.

These guys are great. I just moved back to San Diego and needed some repair work done but didn't want to drive all the way to my regular mechanic. I stopped in here and I'm glad I did -- they're very friendly, they're super fast, and they really know their stuff. It's clear that these people love cars. I highly recommend them.

These guys are the best! I took a car in buying today in to get checked out. They did such an amazing job looking at the whole car. The inspection was only $69. They were so thorough and friendly. I highly recommend them for your car needs!!

Andy is a positive person with realistic and pragmatic advice. He doesn't sell and just presents the options you have. The work was also super speedy.Really liked my time there, as much as you can when you're trying to get your car repaired.

I had a part of my car stolen this week and I was distraught. I brought it here to be serviced and I'm extremely grateful that I did. They hands down have the best customer service and Andy was probably the most helpful a mechanic has ever been to me, ever.
