I always thought dealerships had the logistics and manpower to do more with delicate attention to detail and strict adherence to compliance and specifications so I hesitated to tow my legendary 2009 Honda Pilot Touring V6 4WD to a small mom-&-pop repair shop like this at first because my engine died with almost no hope, but Vo's Auto Repair brought my vehicle back to life with a newer engine, and I was thoroughly impressed with Mr. Tuan's attention to detail, due diligence, hard work, dedication, and sincere care for my vehicle as if it was his own. It was like magic how one man like him can disassemble an entire engine piece by piece, show you what each part looks like inside, replace every worn out or broken part, clean up parts that need to be cleaned, replace filters, refill all fluids, rotate and inflate tires, and even optimize settings for long life, fuel economy, and local emissions standards. Talk about logistics, he was able to replace my entire engine with a newer one with low miles through his connections and completely installed it in my vehicle in less than 1 week, a feat that would have taken the Honda dealership more than 3 weeks. He has done more work on my vehicle in less than 1 week than all the work that was done by the Honda dealership in the 5 years I owned the vehicle combined, with a newer engine, new timing belt, new tensioner, new linkage, new serpentine belt, new mounts, new hinges, new brackets, new filters, new gaskets, new reservoir caps, new fluids, it feels like a new vehicle when it was finished and when I drove it off his lot, it almost looked like he was somewhat emotionally attached to my vehicle like a dad saying goodbye to his college-bound kid, because he put so much dedication and effort into it, I had to wave goodbye as I saw him still standing there watching me drive off with the vehicle he put so much care and love into. Fortunately, I was able to get a loan to pay for the repairs and newer engine because he truly deserved the business far beyond my expectations of a small mom-&-pop repair shop. I feel like I got a lot of value from leveraging his knowledge, expertise, experience, diligence, passion for excellence, and connections in getting the very thorough care my vehicle needed. After seeing what he can do, I trust him more now than the Honda dealership. For the same amount of money or less, even on a tight budget, he can and will definitely put more work into your vehicle in both parts and labor than what the dealership can do because of all the overhead expenses and other inefficiencies dealerships have to deal with.

The best!! Our car overheated and we had to make a 5 hour drive to Nevada with nowhere to sleep if we couldn t make it that night. Turned out our water pump was leaking so we drove right across the street to Vo s hoping they could help us. It was a Saturday and they were supposed to close at 2pm. Not only did he stop what he was working on to help us, we made it to Nevada! He replaced our water pump, belt, coolant, and thermostat. Gave us chairs to sit on while we waited and he fixed it in around 2 hours. Even did a drive test to make sure we wouldn t end up stranded on our trip. Him and his wife were so kind and helpful! Thank you so much!

Vo is able to do all jobs, large and small. He is very knowledgeable, and tells you what alternatives there are for dealing with any car problem. He's never pushy, in any way. He's serviced our cars for 3 years and we're always impressed with his honesty and reliability.

I've been going to Vo for 12+ years which speaks for itself. When I was younger I used to work on my own cars so I know when a mechanic is on target or not. Vo is da man.Reliable, honest, knowledgable, etc. Can't say enough good about the guy. I can say he deserves your business

If you are looking for an amazing ,honest car repair shop this is the place to be.VO the owner of the place is walk you though all the way whats gonna happen with your car also let you known the charge in advanced which is much more affordable then any repiar shop!!Since my car had a clutch change feels like brand new.Im strongly reccomend this place to everyone believe me you not going to be disappointed!!!!Keep going Mr Vo people needs you.

I took a chance on this family owned shop with no regrets.Quick summary; before you consider Pep Boys for your brake work go here. You will get polite suggestions but not pushy sales. His time quote was accurate. In addition to what I paid for he adjusted the e brake.Front calipers, disks and pads (aka front brakes) were replaced and that's what I paid for.I followed one recommendation to replace both calipers even though only one was trash. Having replaced the pads/drums four times myself I recognized (from previous reading,evidence, photos, warnings over the years) the damage I had done to the one caliper( improper method of pushing piston in). So the other "undamaged" caliper was probably a time bomb and it failing would shift the load to the new one and hasten it's demise. This made sense to me and I am also through with fixing my own brakes. Note that he did not insist that both needed to be replaced but only recommended it.The other recommendation was that I put new shoes and machine the rear drums. He clarified that that could wait for a while. That's what I chose to do.Friendly guy and the wife/secretary is too. Little bit of a language barrier but not a big deal.When the rear brakes do finally go kaput I will take the Tacoma here.

Vo is the man. Fixes my older toyotas and Hondas. Wouldnt go anywhere else. Highly recommend.
