Not bad, quick, and gets the job done, however. . .4-5 years ago, while I was stationed here. I went to get an oil change. Turned out my oil drain pan wasn't fully seated up and eventually scrapped onto the ground, making a terrible screeching sound. I went back to ask what the deal was. They said it could be the possibility of the speed bumps all on base and wouldn't affect the car. At that time, I didn't know much about basic maintenance. But for them to blame it on the speed bump is crazy. They also over tightened my oil drain screw and had to get a new one when I decided to learn how to do my own oil changes.

I came here on Sunday and by Monday the bottom of my car fell off and dragging on the street. Don t come here if those goofy ah kids are working here. First bad experience here and I have been coming here for 6 years.

Staff are VERY friendly and did a thorough job explaining the process. Especially for my situation where I provided the supplies and they did the service. A bit pricy for the service only as I paid $50 for my own oil and filter.

Excellent Service and professional, worked as a team and got my Motor oil and filter changed, transmission flush and radiator fluid flushed, they took the time to show me the dip stick for both the motor oil and transmission to give me peace of money, will be returning with my other vehicles in the near future.Services: Transmission, Oil changeServices: Transmission, Oil change

Jontae is one of the best professionals that has ever serviced my car. I brought in my vehicle to a previous Valvoline and the service technicians noticed the oil filter had become rounded, they attempted to remove it but couldn t, therefore I could not get an oil change done at that location. Jontae however was determined to fix the issue and ensured that it would be taken care of. After anxiously waiting, he was able to get a brand new oil filter installed and complete the oil change. I can t thank him enough for his efforts and positive attitude. Give this man a raise!

Why anyone would get an oil change any other way is beyond me this is so fast and inexpensive! You can get $15 off worth online coupon or $10 off with military discount. @misadventuresofmary

Wow! Amazing service. I went in for my regular oil change. My back wiper arm has been broken for over a month. David checked it out for me while my oil was getting changed and was able to fix the wiper arm for me. It was just a loose screw but he took the time to look into between his regular duties. EVERYONE there did an outstanding and professional job. Thank you!Service: Oil change

Turned me away because they felt unqualified to do the job. I had silicone on the drain plug from two oil changes ago. Told me to go back the NEX.

Honestly, I ve never really written a bad review before but I think I just had to. I got about an 80$ oil change just for them to put in new oil and filter. They told me I didn t need a new one even though that s what the service included. If I wanted to just put new oil in I could ve done that myself. I left the review because I know I m not the only person they ve probably done this to, and If I m paying for a full oil change I want a full oil change. They did that to me for two oil changes not just one so I really don t feel like being taken advantage of again.Service: Oil change

VALVOLINE instant oil change was the quickest yet thorough, most efficient checkup and oil change I've EVER experienced! I was so grateful to be able to just drive up without needing an appointment and be done in about 20 minutes. The crew of 3 I had were very professional, they checked my filter. All the fluids, tire pressure, made recommendations, put in my synthetic blend oil and did an overall amazing job. I will definitely go back from now on.

Update: fast forward a couple of months, I just found out they forgot to reinstall the clips for the metal plate when changing the oil. Resulted in over $100 of damage when driving down the interstate and the plate began flapping free and crumpled beneath the car!! Won t be going back here unfortunately :(Super professional and quick service! They go above and beyond to provide the best service.

I think this location may be under new management because I've read a lot of negative reviews, but I had a great experience there. The tech, James, was fantastic and they did a really fast and efficient job, and I didn't even have to get out of the vehicle. They are a shop, so of course they will try to up-sell you on other "premium" features, but just say no. If you talk with a mechanic and they know it needs to be done, let Valvoline do the oil change and go somewhere else for larger jobs. Overall my wife and I had a good experience at this place, and I would recommend giving it a try.

For such a low rating, I got shockingly great service with a regular oil change. Not even 15 minutes for them to take down my info, change oil, top off fluid (for $4 extra) and tire pressures, check lights and take my payment and I was on my way. Didn't even get out of the truck. They gave the play-by-play of what they were doing and showed me the dip stick covered with clear fresh oil. What else can I say.

Convenient for a price. They will definitely be able to get you in for service but you pay extra compared to making an appointment somewhere else. On top of that the above ground staff are fully trained on upselling you for different odds and ends.

Very friendly staff . Oil change was quick, not exactly 15 minutes but they were speedy in every part. Checked the tire pressure, lights, filters and had an entire oil change ((synthetic blend)) for under $100 on a pickup. Staff was knowledgeable on the vehicle and the proper oil to use since this was the first change the truck had.

Fast, friendly service. They did my oil change and noticed my car was at 30,000mi, so they also performed the manufacturer recommended inspection for free. Unlike the manufacturer, they didn't try to get me to replace those parts needlessly, as they are still in good condition. Very impressed by their honesty and service.

I just have to say how OUTSTANDING the customer service was at the Valvoline I went to yesterday located on the Navy Base in San Diego. The two young men that helped me were SO nice and happy. I had never been to one before and didn't realize you could stay in the car. By far, the EASIEST oil change in my life!! I really appreciated how nice they were and they seemed to like their job!

First time here and full oil change was $99. Got home and oil puddle on the garage floor. Checked the oil and was still full so drove back and they redid the entire oil change and filter and replace the plug bolt that leaked. They Apologized and the car has been so far so good. Thank God I checked under the car or damaged my engine.

This happened over a year ago but after reading all the 5 star reviews, I felt I had write about my bad experience with this service station.I had my oil changed and was a little concerned about the staff working the floor. �While waiting in my car, I heard a snap, followed by what sounded like a small metallic object clunking its way down the engine bay and finally hitting the floor of the bottom section of the service area.After the oil change, I left the service area and parked close by to inspect under the hood. �I found one of the bolts securing the engine air filter housing assembly had been snapped off.Now, there were at least three personnel that could have said something; the customer service rep who obviously saw what happened because she [nervously] instructed the person tightening the bolts to not apply too much torque, the person working under the hood because he did it, and the person underneath the car who would have heard the bolt head hit the floor. �I mean, if I heard it from INSIDE my car, it stands to reason that he would have, unless he was not there yet.But disturbingly, �no one did.If they are willing to keep something as small as snapping a bolt head off an air filter housing a secret, what else are they willing to keep from their customer? �Where do they draw the line?Where do YOU draw the line?I drew the line there. �I have not returned nor will I ever.

Quick and easy. Typical stop BUT in my 3 years here, the wait for service has been minimal. The garage is located OFF base but still needs a DoD ID to access the area with the NEX, commissary and Valvoline garage.

Great service! Completed oil change and tire rotation in 15 minutes (if that) with no appointment. Great teamwork and communication! Explain to me and my son the 5 W's.

The customer service here is amazing. I had an issue and Marco and Luis were extremely helpful. They fixed the problem super fast. Called me back multiple times to keep me posted while fixing the issue with Valvoline HQ. These guys are top notch.

pay that extra $ for convenience and customer service. Tyler keeps you informed on all inspections. I knew my headlight was out and he offered to fix it for an additional charge but I could fix it myself at home. I keep coming to valvoline for great customer service and in and out service.
