Courteous, professional and friendly staff. This is an affordable way to have your oil changed and receive safety checks and recommended services. there was no waiting the day I went in. the staff provided service, such as, all lights working, wiper check, air pressure, filters if needed, etc. They offer traditional oil or synthetic oil.The best part about this is once you drive into the service bay you can stay in the car for servicing.

Horrible experience. Went home to find oil spilled over the engine bay, overfilled oil, and missing valve stem covers. Went there on 02 Nov 2022.

Service was speedy. I was the only customer, so I was in and out in 10 minutes. Prices are not transparent, so you're confronted with making a decision while your car is already in the shop. They charge almost twice what I pay at the place I usually go to. Also, they advertise coupons, but the $12 coupon I found on their website didn't work (even though the employee said it was the right one), so she applied a standard one which was $10 off instead of $12. I didn't want to make a fuss about $2, but do feel it's misleading advertising. The only reason why I would go back is if (like the day I went) I'm in a rush to get an oil change.

Best valvoline experience I have had in a while, super understanding and helpful. They got me in at close when they could have sent me away, 10/10 effort! They even helped me out with my drain plug and gasket which needed replacing. Very helpful team today

Always professional, quick and efficient work. Their detailed explanation of recommended services is easily understood. Terrell and Kat gave me wonderful service. Helpful and Customer Setbice was A++. Told me everything that was needed. And when they found out the last headlight for my car was sold out offered to put it free of charge all I had to do was purchase it. Thank you

Overall service was 4 stars strictly due to the young lady, Kat, who was working on our truck. But it took them 45 mins to put my TRD pro skid plate back on and when I assume they were frustrated not being able to figure it out said it was secure and let me go. I pulled over at the adjacent parking lot and checked myself and the two front screws were barely on. I drove back and showed them and the same young lady, Kat, made sure they were secure while her male counterparts were just starring at her. When she ask the guy who worked on my truck why he said it was secure when it wasn t he blamed another attendant and said he had check and said it was fine. This was a huge safety risk and extremely unprofessional. If I hadn t checked this could ve been fatal for my family and whoever else on the road it could affected if the skid plate came off while we were driving on the interstate or even main streets.Service: Oil change

3 aisles, I got put in one that moved fast. I was next, then was told to move back for someone else from 2 lines next to me because he was next. This defeats the purpose of putting customers in specific lines. I left and went to my normal Valvoline. Will never go there again. Go to the one next to best buy or Scripps.

First and worst experience at Valvoline. After waiting almost one hour between waiting outside and in the bay, I ended up leaving without even getting an oil change.The vehicle is a 2021 fleet chevy equinox, a VERY common car and for whatever reason the technician was unable to select the correct oil type in their computer. Are you kidding me? Just look at the cap! It s not rocket science. They didn t seem too concerned about my time either as I was on the clock. I could not believe how inept and unconcerned these employees were acting. Finally I said please close the hood because I have to get back to work. The whole point of these quick lube places is to save time. That certainly wasn t the case today. The manager needs to fix whatever issue they were having, but i surely won t be going back. And it s their loss too because they can make a lot of money on fleet vehicles.

Conner and Ryan helped me. They were so friendly and helpful.Typically when I get my car serviced I experience anxiety because I m not super well knowledged in vehicle maintenance. But Ryan and Conner talked me through the process. In the future I know I will be more confident with the information they shared with me.Service: Oil change

It was time for my car to get it's oil changed, and Connie, Christian, and Brandon helped me out tremendously. They were super efficient, communicated everything going on with my vehicle, and I had also got my tires rotated afterwards. Overall was in and out within 30 minutes. Very appreciative of their hard work and would definitely recommend everyone to come here.Services: Tires, Oil change

I've been there multiple times and have had no issues. Today I pulled up, all three bays were full I was directed behind a truck in bay 3 to wait. 10 minutes later a person scanned my vin and two other cars pulled up behind cars in the other two bays. ~10 minutes later those two other cars were moved in to be serviced? Both cars were taken ahead of me, while I sat behind the same truck that I was directed behind? nobody was there to assist me or give any guidance. finally after 40 total minutes I was directed into a different bay(after a car that came 15 minutes after me was serviced). when I asked why I was taken last, nobody had a clue. Technicians were good no issues there, supervision and or management is extremely poor no organization. I will not patronize them again I will go to the other location in mira mesa. Get your organization together and on the same page.Service: Oil change

Exceptional customer service. I was impressed with the professionalism from the entire team, and especially from Vanier and Monica who helped me the most. They communicated with their customers throughout the process, explained everything step by step, and were thorough in their inspections. I also appreciated how well they all communicated with one another as it ensured me that my car was in good hands.The only set back was how long it took. It took much longer than the 15 minutes advertised. In the process of shuffling cars around, I think 2 cars who arrived after me ended up going before me, and the cars ahead of me definitely took more than 15 minutes. But even then, it wasn t because the staff wasn t working hard. They definitely were. But if you re in a hurry, maybe don t go on a Sunday afternoon!Oh and they offer a military discount!

This place is great! Everyone was so helpful and kind. I feel bad that I forgot one person by name who was extremely helpful. The manager came and gave my dog a treat which was so thoughtful. They suggested some additional service but weren t pushy if I decided against what they suggested. The bays are really easy to get in and out of, unlike some locations or competitors. The men here are quite helpful and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our first visit at Valvoline. We usually get oil changes from Jiffy lube, really glad we stopped here to get our Prius taken care of. Thank you for your wonderful customer service and hard work! We look forward to coming back for our next service.

Being new to the San Diego area, I was hesitant to look for a new reliable place to service my car. The workers here were amazing and very knowledgeable. Not once did I feel like they were trying to scam me or pressure me into additional services (like most places) Dominique and Erick were welcoming, fast, and efficient. This will definitely be my go to spot, and I will highly recommend it to anyone else!

All members are wonderful. Manager Melissa was wonderfully and helped with all my needs . Chase was wonderful and great help. Love the Women and gentlemen working here. The have great prices. Worst service ever! Honestly, I don't care if you are done by 15 minutes or not, just take your time and do the job right....I went to this place for an oil change but the guys forgot to properly put back the tray. After 15 minutes of driving the tray came off half way with a scary noise. I had to waste half an hour by the highway to put it partially back in place. Next day I went back to complain and got an awful customer service. First they made me sit in the car for about 45 minutes until they can savage the tray and fasten it. I said I want them to replace it with a new tray and the guy was like how should we know what shape it was before you come here!!! they also promised me they will investigate the issue and will mail me the outcome and an appointment to replace the tray (if they decided they are responsible for it). Well, after about 4 months all I received was endless advertisement which I could not unsubscribe from.Not sure how a business like this can survive in this era of reviewsEdit: After writing the initial review Valvoline's customer care reached out to me and compensated me for the broken part. As opposed to the initial interaction with the manager of their physical location, the support team was polite fairly responsive which I appreciate. (edited from 1 star to 3)

Never going back. It's easy to drive through and get your oil changed, but that doesn't mean they do it right. First time, they did not honor the Groupon I had purchased. Fine, it's a third party, but they should have taken some sort of responsibility for participating in Groupon's services.Second time, everything went fine.. until my car started leaking oil. Drove back for them to check the cap and make sure it's on properly. They said "yep, all good!" So I took it to my Mechanic cuz i cant be leaking liquids everywhere (shout out to Adolfo at Motec Mira Mesa, they are fab) and my o ring was blown out, oil EVERYWHERE in the undercarriage.Either Valvoline is not training their people to spot major oil leakage, or they just don't care. Neither option makes me want to ever go back.Motec Mira Mesa does oil changes for almost identical pricing, if not better, go there and get yours changed the correct way.

I love how they top off everything, fill the air in your tires, and replace windshield wipers, and you get to stay in your car! Brilliant!

Because of COVID-19, I could not get my car serviced and the dash board started flashing that my oil life is 5%. Being new to cars, panicked and started googling for Oil change and lucky this business showed up and gone through quick reviews, but was skeptical, how a business could get 4.1 and mostly good review and went anyhow. These guys lived to their review reputations. These guys were quick and dealt with the problem professionally and fixed a couple more after from this oil change. Was out of the door within the stipulated time of 15 mins as promised. Thank you.Services: Battery, Oil change

Wow, my roommate gave me a coupon and said these guys were quick and thorough. Javier, the manager explained the process and services available. I came for an oil change and figured I might need a cabin air filter. I needed more than that(My car has been neglected during the quarantine though I have still been driving) he pointed out what I needed and there was no pressure to add on things I didn t need. Convenient. Price should be better??A little bit more expensive than a dealership price. The reminder sticker shows 3k between oil changes. 6k is recommended for my vehicle.Total time was 30 minutes. And.. I was able to to it during my drive home.

Took an hour to get done with the car in front of me. If they re going to charge over $100 for an oil change they should get it done in 15 mins. Not 4x as much. What s the point? If I m gonna have to wait over an hour might as well drop my car off at the dealer and go to work.
