My boyfriend had the oil changed and coolant flushed on his Tacoma before we drove to Colorado. Once we turned onto the 55 engine started overheating and smoking. Turns out they didn t put the cap back on the coolant and there was coolant spilling everywhere under the hood. The cap still sitting where they put it when they took it off. We were pulled out on the side of the interstate.Oil change seems good but we will see if it was full synthetic.It was great customer service and they give a veteran discount. But poor execution and a huge disappointment. Boyfriend called for a refund and they dealt with it professionally.

This is the only place I come for an oil change since moving to PB. The staff at the shop are always professional, courteous, and quick. They usually find something else on my car that needs to be looked at but don t ever pressure me for add-ons. Last time, they helped me fix an issue with the way my battery was installed. Great service!

Rod and Marilyn were amazing. They helped me out with my car's battery, and all kinds of other stuff really well. Rod even told me I didn't need and oil change and recommended I hold off on a new battery instead of just getting the sale. Definitely going back.

Beware of the cabin air filter scam they run here. One of these costs around $12 but they trick you into paying $60 for it. It s so easy to change yourself, and overcharging 5x the cost is definitely predatory. It s a shame because I otherwise enjoyed my experience here. This is why people don t trust these places.

Genuinely will only ever go here for an oil change. They are fast, so nice, and always explain things and are honest with what services you need.

They filled my nitrogen filled tires with compressed air.The person who did it was the store manager. After I left I immediately checked under my hood my hood stand was left loose.

Honestly, anytime I have been to a Valvoline - I have a great experience. Hence why I always keep coming back. I have been to around 4 different Valvoline's that serve San Diego. Customer service is always amazing, the service is honest and timely. I always leave a happy camper. They always try to get you the best deals. Today especially - I wasn't able to catch the gentleman's name who primarily helped me but he was AMAZING. Friendly, professional, and informational. I was very impressed with the service and staff. It was nice staying in my car while the oil change was performed, but what really struck me was the how professional and nice the staff was. Many of them were young men and so courteous/polite it made me feel very welcome. I will definitely go back again.

Without a single ounce of bias,I worked for the company that franchises Valvolines in California for almost 4 collective years. This location as well. The guys are always super professional, quick, and attentive to your vehicle. Now that I own a vehicle and no longer work for them, getting to come as a customer is great, and they are the only people I trust to service my car. Needed an oil change before a road trip this weekend so I opted to go to this Valvoline (on Garnet Ave in PB). Just left there not too long ago, and the experience was so nice (I mean, as far as oil change experiences go) that I felt compelled to go online and leave this review. I got there and was helped right away by Brooklyn. She and Justin were so friendly and helpful the whole time as they serviced my vehicle and made sure that everything was in good order. If there was a product or service that they recommended I get, they let me know about it but weren t pushy about it trying to just get me to spend money on something I might not really need at the moment. And if they had been very adamant that I get something done, I probably would have believed them and purchased it. Integrity: you love to see it. Another thing that stood out about Brooklyn and Justin s great service and attention to detail was that I had come in about an hour before closing time, and the fact that they were so friendly and personable even at the tail end of their shift on a hot August day was something I most definitely noticed and genuinely appreciated. To receive this superlative service AND to be driving out of there with my car in tip top shape in about 30 minutes (oil change and new windshield wipers) was as good of an experience that I could ve hoped for. I felt the least I could do was post this lengthy positive review to recognize these great representatives of their company. Thanks again to Brooklyn and Justin (and the other members of the crew today that I did not meet) for making such a mundane adulting task so enjoyable. The "Full Synthetic" oil that Valvoline pumps in your car only lasts ~5,000mi before running brown/black under moderate driving. I put in Mobil's full synthetic blend and am currently on ~10,000mi and it's just turning dark yellow/light brown now under similar driving conditions. I've had Valvoline change my oil twice now, and I know I paid for full synthetic both times, but I'm very skeptical that that's what I received.All that aside, the service is excellent and the staff is friendly at this location. During my last visit they replaced my wipers and I have no complaints. Thank you guys!Edit:Just 5 months after having their silicone windshield wipers put on the car for $100, I'm in desperate need of new ones. Most silicone wipers last 1-2 years but mine didn't make it past half a year of moderate use. I discovered they weren't really doing anything with the rains around new years, and I'm convinced this place is just ripping customers off. I want to give a shout-out for great customer service I've enjoyed at this location, just be wary of what you're getting pumped into your engine and installed right before your eyes.

Amazing service. Easy, quick, and affordable. They show you everything on the large monitor and walk you through everything. I appreciated them going through each individual recommendation, showing pictures and why it's important, affect the function of your vehicle etc They did not pressure me to get any additional services done, which was refreshing.I've never been to a facility that explained things so we'll and made me confident they were not pulling my leg. Mike was very friendly and professional and I will definitely be back for my next service.

Excellent customer service. There was no wait and the entire process took 15 minutes. They have other services other than oil change, but they're not pushy about it. And they're open on Sundays.

I always come here whenever I need an oil change or fluids replaced. They get me in and out usually within 10 to 15 mins i there is rarely a wait. Mike has helped me out a few times and he s the best. Let s me know what could be replaced next without any upsell sales pressure. Will continue coming back

Jordan was my serviceman and he was awesome!! Really professional, their process is really streamlined/thorough and fair and reasonable. Would highly recommend them!!! Took care of my oil, all the fluids, windshield wiper and filters.

The three technicians that worked with me were very knowledgeable and polite. I felt that they truly cared that I understood what they were doing and why it needed to be done. I did not feel any pressure to buy any additional services, but I did feel well-informed on what could be beneficial for my car and what I could wait to do the next time I came in, etc. In addition to this, they did a great job at maintaining social distancing/safety protocol in regards to COVID-19. I will definitely be back!It was also super fast!

Best and most legit oil change place I ve ever been to. They didn t try to up sell me on anything like every other oil change place I ve been to, which I loved. They also check out your vehicle bumper to bumper (blinkers, filters, tires, etc.). They were super professional and did the job in good time. Will definitely be making this my new spot.Oh and best of all, they do everything while you sit in your car. You never even have to get out!

My air filter box was left unlatched which caused my engine to start to sputter at idle. Since I had no idea what the problem was I lost a week of using my car trying to get it diagnosed and research on what could be the cause. Finally opened the hood and the box was open and had been left open after getting an air filter change. Now I need to figure out how to get my check engine light reset which had never been on before this.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Oil change

If I could give six stars, I would. I had the pleasure of being helped by Angel, Arturo and Kevin. They were super polite and friendly. When I got there, there were three cars in their service bays and two other cars waiting. They got us all out of there super quickly!!I was really worried about going in for an oil change because I was terrified of being pushed into services I didn t need. They did offer some services but were not pushy at all.Speedy service. Great team.

Been going to this place for years. They're fast, prices are reasonable, they don't force stuff on you that you don't need, and take care of other minor problems in your car. Really excellent service.

I've been going here for years. The name has changed a few times but it's the same business because they've always got my vehicle info in their computer.I'm not sure why but the people that work there always seem to be different. They might rotate locations? I can say that they do a good job of hiring employees. They're always genuinely nice, not fake nice. Some of the oil change businesses that I've been to aren't even fake nice! They're good with customers and you can tell that it isn't forced.If there's open space in one of the bays then the oil change is quick. I was in and out of there in about 15 minutes.

Sat in line for 10 minutes and was told I should come back another day as they may not be able to perform a basic oil change in the 30 minute block I had before a lm appointment. So much for 15 minutes?!
