Sam was extremely fast, helpful, and professional! I thought I was having trouble with my transmission and Sam immediately checked out my vehicle. He is honest, kind, and I would really recommend him to anyone! This is our new place for auto repairs from now on!

Transmasters is our first stop for any maintenance and Issues with our 2 cars. They have excellent crew with good experience on all car models.We had random wobbling issue with our Odyssey Van. We took it to dealer numerous times but they could not diagnose the issue properly and recommended regular wear & tear maintenance. We reached out to Transmasters as it is become a safety issue. They tested and immediately suspected a malfunctioning strut intermittently. They also recommended to take it back to fix it as is covered. Dealer tested and confirmed and fixed the issue by replacing struts. Later we go for all the maintenance to Transmasters and We can't think of any others as We get best pricing and quality of work from Transmasters.

Car maintenance is notoriously expensive and most people feel a sense of dread when the check engine light comes on. I for one fall within that crowd.So when both Sam and Javier took the time to walk through my explanations of DIY fixes on my personal vehicle, shed insight on what was done right and wrong, and gave me an honest quote on the remaining work that needed to be done the car it was incredibly refreshing.If you are looking for a place that does not blind-side you, go to Transmasters Auto Care.

Sam is my new guy! I have used other mechanics around Miramar and Black Mountian Rd and Sam has been reliable and honest. He knows how to trouble shoot and will let you know a few possible scenarios why your car has issues. No big surprises when it comes to repair. Work is good and prices are comparable to other shops (I've gotten quotes from other shops for certain repairs and Sam was either around the ball park of a quote from others, or slightly cheaper). Definitely sticking with this guy!

I have been taking my cars to Transmasters for the last 3 years and they have always done a great job. Sam explains the issues clearly and is very clear about costs and repair times. Whether it is regular maintenance like oil and filter changes or more detailed repairs, Transmasters does excellent job and provide great service at very reasonable rates. I will highly recommend them to everybody.

I have been taking my Lexus RX 300 SUV to Transmasters for years. Sam and his team do excellent work and the prices are much lower than a Lexus dealership. They have done everything from replace my transmission to repair a broken trunk latch. I highly recommend them.

Awesome! I replaced my Camry 2017 transmission in October last year. Recently, I felt same problem happened such as vibration at low speed. So, I thought this would be transmission problem again.But, after test driving by Sam with computer diagnosis, it was not the transmission problem. It was some sensor(fuel injection to transmission) problem due to carbon residue.It was cleared after several hours and the problem was gone way. It is really nice experience and thanks to Sam and his team.They are real! Thanks.Service: Transmission

I'm grateful for the work Transmasters has done for me recently. One vehicle had a transmission issue that they were able to troubleshoot and save me over a $1000 compared to what the dealer quoted me. My other vehicle just needed maintenance so that I could pass smog. The smog test went smoothly and my vehicle is running/driving great. Sam and his employees are some of the best repair team in the San Diego area. I always take my 2017 Audi A4 whenever I have mechanical issues and Sam is always quick to fix it and at half the price of the dealership down the street from his shot. I have an older 2003 Toyota Camry that I plan to drive for a few more years, and I've taken it to Transmasters twice in the past 5 years to replace some aging parts.For the most recent repair, I knew my control arms needed to be replaced (among a few other things). Even after moving to Orange County I went back to Transmasters since I had such a good experience and wanted to go somewhere I can trust to do an honest full vehicle inspection.The owner Sam took the time to go through all my options and costs without any pressure, which was super helpful especially since I have an older vehicle.All my experiences here have been great and I would recommend Transmasters!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

Our poor old van, Elsie...a 2001 Dodge. She's a trooper and she keeps on truckin' with a little help from her friends. Sam's the BEST!! This time, she needed a new radiator. The old one started leaking after 22 years on the road! Sam found the parts, replaced them, charged a reasonable price for the work and got Elsie back on the road for a few more gigs. Thanks, Sam!!

Sam and his mechanics were so helpful in pin pointing the problem that was causing the noise in my escalade! I came from another mechanic shop to Sam's mechanic shop for help and got it! Sam diagnosed the problem and then took pictures and sent them to me to show me what was needed to be replaced and why. He did not encourage anything to fix that other mechanics encourage and He did not break something while fixing it that other mechanics secretly do. I really appreciate honest and fair mechanic shops like Transmasters Auto Care because they do the job right the first time and will have you back on the road. The 'Check Engine Light' was on and the dashboard restarted in the middle of driving, causing a temporary lock of speed at ~ 20 mph. After realizing that I would need to spend a lot of time calling and waiting for the responses from the dealer to figure out how to send my car to their place safely, I found TransMasters on Google. Sam responded quickly and communicated in a very professional and friendly way. He helped me with the towing service and kept me updated during inspection and repairing. Always do the work quickly but even more importantly they are honest to a fault. They once found an issue with my 6 year old VW GTI which was out of warranty, but realized it would be covered by the extended emissions warranty so they put everything back together without charge and sent me for free service at the VW dealership. After getting a $10k quote from the dealer in Carlsbad for my transmission repair and a host of other repairs that were unnecessary, I took my 4Runner to Sam who diagnosed the issue promptly and gave me more than one option to repair or replace my aging transmission. He was honest, upfront, and on time with his quote and services, actually ahead of schedule on the repair. Sam charged me exactly what we agreed upon and was a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend anyone to him for any service he offers. I was referred to Sam from another mechanic who wasn t able to do the extensive work on my Honda Accord. It needed a ton of work and Sam helped me understand all the options involved in the repair and we both agreed to just swap the engine with a newer one instead of repairing the old one. With used car prices being so high I feel like this was the best option and after driving my car I am very happy with my decision. Sam had great communication the whole time and would update me as new things came up that needed attention and he also explained to me all the warranties envolved so I don t have to worry for the foreseeable future. Transmasters has recently become my go to for my car issues. They are patient, understanding, and are willing to work closely to your warranty provider. I was having serious transmission problems and after taking it to Transmasters, it was resolved within my warranty boundaries and they kept up constant communication with me. Some places take advantage of your lack of mechanical know-how, Transmasters doesn't.
