Went in, had massive brake issues for a year straight. Went to another auto shop twice could not help me. Found this place, read the reviews and gave it a shot. JR not only gave me advice that I could understand but he FIXED ALL THE ISSUES. Set me up with all four new brakes! And the CORRECT ones. The pricing is very reasonable for the good work done by him. I recommend this place to everyone who wants a comfortable, personable and fair experience. THANK YOU JR!! My car feels brand new again.

JR, and Gabriel are the best automotive technicians in Pacific Beach! I have been taking my vehicles there for the last two years, and I couldn t be more satisfied with their impeccable service. They are reliable, and most importantly, HONEST. Their labor fee is accessible and fair, and they always take the time to explain in detail what is going on, and walk me through each step. JR never leaves you hanging, and is always in contact to offer updates on the progress of their work.As a woman, it is so refreshing, knowing I am receiving top-quality care, for a reasonable and straightforward price.You guys rock! Jr at the shop has aligned my car twice now, never been happier with how it turns out. I've had it done at other shops but it never seems to do well. I have caster/camber plates as well as upgraded steering components and he knew exactly what to do and had me in and out within 30 min. Definitely recommend these guys. 5 * work for sure.

Probably the best mechanic I've ever been to.I had some tricky work to do with the front end of my truck, other mechanics gave sketchy recommendations.These guys did excellent work, did only did what was necessary, charged less than I expected, and did the work quickly.Fast, high quality, inexpensive, trustworthy. These guys are the best. Of all the mechanics I ve ever been to. These guys are the most honest and reliable and they don t charge an arm and a leg.Because they are so good though, they re very busy. It may take a little extra time to get the work done, but it s well worth it!!

Cannot speak more highly of this shop. Honest, helpful, and a great business. They supported me with my older car to keep her running. Ultimately, when it was time to let my car go, they took her in to fix and help someone else in need with a running car. I had a great experience here. I worked with JR and he was very professional and I felt actually cared and wasn't there to rip you off. I had some AC work done and by far they had the best prices compared to other shops. I appreciated how thorough they were when they were trying to find the leak in my system and throughout the process, they would call to notify me how things were going. Once the problem was discovered, they gave me multiple quotes based on the best vs most economical. I never felt pressured, never felt like i was being up-selled or ripped off. It was very fair. Sometimes you can tell when someone cares for the customer and has the customers best interest in mind, not just to make money. I 100% would recommend and will bring my car in again for any service. The only thing is because they are so good, they can get busy, so if you need quick service, make sure to get appointmentsService: Air conditioning

I was told to drop my car off at 8:30 and arrived a few minutes early. I crutched over (just had knee surgery) to the check in lobby to see if someone was there. The lights were off but the door was unlocked, so I opened it and walked to the service desk, saw the computer was on, and rang the bell. My buddy then walked in and rang the bell. No one was coming, so we stepped back outside where Gabriel was waiting. He askes what we were doing, I tell him I was looking for someone and had an appointment at 8:30. He said the lights are off, why did you walk in, you know we have a camera right here, you know i could see you the whole time (implying that we were looking to steal) . I told him I have an appointment at 8:30 and was looking for someone, to which he says you cant walk in like that, you know I could have just shot you in the head. Maybe he thought I was stealing and was startled, but he threatened me so i decided to take my business elsewhere.

Best place in San Diego!!! Very honest and helpful! First place that I ve taken my car to that I didn t feel taken advantage of AND left with my car running like a dream! Thank you Junior for all your hard work and help! If you re looking for mechanic, look no further this is it. Helped correct many issues from other places and I m so grateful I found this place.

Very HONEST, professional, great customer service. I will be taking my car here from now. J.R. And the whole staffs are great. As a woman we don t much about cars. I told JR my problems over the phone I need a diagnostic took it Friday. Found a lot of problems. The total was affordable compare to the first well known shop that I took it in. Top care auto center charged me leeway less than the other shop. MY OLD CAR RUNS SO SMOOTH NOW. THANK YOU GUYS!!!!!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

they fixed my alternator within 24 hours of breaking down!! Labor is expensive everywhere right now so finding a shop that charges fairly is definitely always a great thing. I recommend this shop most definitely. I have a vw and taking this car to shops is always a financial pain. Top Auto Care is 10/10!!

Have been coming here for 10 yrs now. Father and son shop. Finally found someone I can trust with my vehicles. Jr is very honest when it comes to the needs of your vehicle. He's not there to take your money for something you don't need. I promise you he's the best. Ask for him when you go in. You'll like the service.

This is a pretty good auto repair shop. The owner is pretty honest and upfront with everything. What he told me on the phone when I called is the same thing he told me after looking at my Mercedes. I had a problem with my windows and I have not had a problem since, nor any rattling. The repair cost was so much more less here than the dealership.

They are so helpful. They try to run the shop old school. Helpful kind courteous. They work with you the best they can. Son and father team work. Gabriel will make sure job is done, even assists if he feels other places steered you wrong. He may even give advice on a less expensive way to remedy the situation, if there is one.

Through their free inspection they found out I had really worn wheel bearings, a leaky axel and shot brakes. They were able to fit me in the next day and got the work done. My car, now drives like new. Definitely going back for all my major work.

JR did right by me. They came-in at HALF what everyone else wanted to charge me for an alignment on my '71 vw Karmann Ghia ($35) and it's the first-time since i've owned the car that it steers perfectly, even the steering wheel sits perfectly centered. i love people who do a good job w/o trying to ream me! thank you for a job well-done, reasonably!

Wish I would've found this place a long time ago.Ive been having this alignment issue with my car and these guys (son/father duo) really knew what they were doing. I'm really amazed. And feel very confident in their work.

These guys are legit. Just needed an alignment but explained that there was a slight problem with the truck being to low in the front. They levelled it out gave the alignment and its only costing me $90. Yea if you need work done check these guys out.
