I seriously can't recommend them enough. After a poor experience with the dealership I didn't have much faith in mechanics. Mark and the folks at TLC Auto have restored it. They are fast and reasonably priced. There are never any surprises. Their communication has been impeccable. So glad we found them.

I've been a customer of TLC forever. They do quality work using quality parts at a reasonable rate. They don't nickel and dime you for the small stuff and they are very honest.Yesterday, we had our Honda serviced. I paid the bill and went on my merry way. This morning I get a call from TLC informing me that they found a clerical error while closing out their books for the day and had accidentally double charged me for a part.This says a lot about how TLC runs their business and how they take care of their customers. They obviously run a tight ship to have picked up on a billing error so quickly, and the fact that they called me to let me know about the error says everything you need to know about this company.TLC cares about their customers and can always be trusted to do the right thing!Great job TLC!!! This was my first visit to TLC. I wanted Lexus services from an independent facility. Spoke with Mark - their General manager about the services needed. Mark was very helpful and professional. He said they would only do what's needed and not do unnecessary work. I was so pleased with his honesty in discussing their operation. After my experiences at Lexus dealerships, this was extremely pleasing. The work was done by a certified Lexus staff member who worked at a dealership. All parts used were Lexus OEM which was important to me. So pleased with my experience finding a new home for my 2004 Lexus SC430 with 57k miles. They did a superb job and excellent communication.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Tire rotations, Brakes, Auto maintenance, Auto brake replacement, Oil change

TLC was able to diagnose and fix a problem with my car that multiple shops and even Toyota couldn t figure it out. I highly recommend them!!

If you have a Toyota or Lexus and need any service, you gotta go here. Amazing service and they know Toyota and Lexus better than the dealer mechanics, and best part 100% trust. Get what your car needs and nothing more.

If you own a Toyota or Lexus this is the best place in San Diego to have repairs or even routine maintenance done. They do excellent work and stand behind their repairs. I'll never tale my vehicle anyplace else to have work done on it. And, by the way, they were recommended to us by a local Toyota dealership's service advisor.

I ve been meaning to leave this place a review for a year now. I took my Prius here for 100k service + to fix my front window sprayers, which had stopped spraying for over a year. I d tried my best to unclog them myself to no avail. So imagine my surprise when instead of just replacing both and moving on, they managed to unclog one without the need to replace it. I was so stoked obviously it saved me money but also better for the environment not to replace something if it can be repaired. It was such a no nonsense and hassle free experience, honestly my first as a young female going for car service (example - the dealer has, twice now, suggest I replace my dirty cabin/engine air filter literally days after I replaced them myself). I just really trust the TLC team and look forward to bringing my Prius here for the rest of its life. Thank you so much!

Always a great experience! I've had some bad experiences with auto mechanics in the past. Not here. I've come here for years and feel like my Prius is in competent, honest hands. I drive my cars for many years. TLC helps me maintain my car with a reasonable cost.

It's like going to the dealer without the feeling of being overpriced. These guys are honest, helpful and willing to do what it takes to get the job done right. I have 4 lexus vehicles and they're the only ones I let service them. If you're tired of paying too much but want an honest shop that wont use cheap aftermarket parts, go to TLC you wont regret it.

I got my Lexus worked on today by Toyota Lexus Care, I had the pleasure of working with Ray he was great!These guys earned their 5 star rating, excellent customer service, very knowledgeable and HONEST.Don't hesitate give them a call!! Thanks TLC you got a customer for life

2nd time using their services. They do EXCELLENT WORK!! They take the time to thoroughly inspect the vehicle, and make recommendations for improvement. Toyotas and Lexus vehicles are very reliable, but when parts need to be changed, it's essential to maintain reliability.This company is not as expensive as the dealer, but it is every bit as good. This is the second timing belt replacement on the same vehicle, so more parts were needed this time...cam seals, crankshaft seals, tensioners. They also found a marginal radiator that need to be replaced after 16 years of driving. All of this work was done, and the car still works beautifully...I'm sure I would have paid considerably more at the dealership, and I'm happy about that. The car was ready the same day, which is absolutely amazing.Respectfully.........Thanks TLC for excellent service. There are 3 Lexus vehicles in this family, so you'll get more business as it is needed.

Best place ever! We are never going anywhere else! We were past customers, and always absolutely pleased, but with hubby out of town, I decided to have a repair done at a local dealership (because of loaner and also was the type of new vehicle we were considering). After 3 visits, it was still not fixed, and cost more money than I care to admit. Decided to have one last shot before donating it (too old to spend any more money on) and TLC came through big time! They fixed it while we waited for $100! Huge thanks to Jim, Mike, Fred and others! You guys are the best!

These guys know Toyota and Lexus vehicles better than anyone I have taken ours to. We have had 6 different Toyota and Lexus vehicles worked on by them over the last 7 years and have been very satisfied with their work everytime. They have never tried to sell us extra service that we don't need. They recently started working on Honda and Acura vehicles as well. Top notch. 5 stars.

We have been taking our 3 Toyotas here for 5 years, and the guys here are fantastic. They are so popular, I heard they are looking for more space. They're your classic no-nonsense mechanics who don't tell you to fix something unless you need to, and they will give you a straight answer on keeping or getting rid of an older car.

I am always weary of car mechanics, but I had to bring my car in with an unexpected repair and i was pleasantly surprised. They were cordial, knowledgeable and fairly priced. The repair ended up not being very expensive, but they never once try to upsell me with additional minor repairs that I know the car needs.

These guys were really easy to work with and beat the dealer price for everything. The downside is they're so busy one has to wait a week for an appointment. Good for them, not so good for me.

WOW!!! Today marks a special day in my history dealing with auto repair shops. Yesterday, my check engine light and VCS track lights popped on. Of course I looked online to figure out what it was...and everything led me to think it was an O2 sensor or mass air flow sensor...nothing less than a $400 repair for my 2002 4Runner. I called everywhere....including a dealer. Nobody was interested in diagnosing my 4Runner without charging $120 (which could be applied to a repair). I then found TLC and spoke to Fred. He said to bring it in and he would take a look at no charge. After plugging in his computer to my 4runner, it turned out to be a gas cap issue. He was done in about 2 minutes...cleared my codes and I was off. TLC will be the shop I take my Toyota to for any repair. It's clear that they are HONEST and KNOW what they are doing. Thanks again!!

Jim Clark and his crew took my gripe list and completed everything as promised on my 2002 Lexus ES 300. Claimed to have inspected my front suspension after I described ball joint and steering rack symptoms... they told me to get new tires. Got a second opinion and was quoted $1900 for suspension overhaul. These guys didn t listen to my opinion and now here I am getting bent over from a tire shop because they can t do an alignment on my tires. Lazy and dishonest shop.

If you have a lexus or toyota, this is the place to bring your car. All genuine parts, great friendly service and honest work all at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend TLC!!

They are just a cool group of mechanics that decided not to charge everybody out the booty for car maintenance. If it takes one hour, you pay one hour, usually like $20, no markup on parts, and very easy going yet hard working group.
