I went to the MB Dealership for a Technical Software Update Bulletin, and while there I asked them to fix an oil leak coming from my Turbo Oil Air Resonator on my 2019 Sprinter 2500 4x4. After paying $860 to fix, the oil was leaking again with less than 1,000 miles. Went to Sprinter Service Repair in San Diego and Vlad provided a free diagnostic review, and found the air tube had a broken mount and the shaking was loosening the O-Ring to leak oil. Vlad provided a quote about 50% less than what the MB dealer did just to replace the O-Ring. Then, Vlad was able to diagnose my DEF sensor in my Tank, and given I saved so much money, I asked him to replace my Fuel Filter and Cabin Filter. Overall the prices are far below what a dealer charges, and you get a very knowledgeable EXPERT and Personal Mercedes Mechanic showing exactly what is going on, needs to be fixed, updated, etc. right on your vehicle in front of your eyes.. At the dealer, a well dressed 'consultant" in an office tells you what's wrong, and charges you and you don't see your vehicle. No brainer decision to use Sprinter Services & Repair as my Mechanic, with locations in Redlands, Vista/Oceanside and San Diego (Miramar Road).

I just bought my 2017 Mercedes Benz Sprinter 2500 Crew a couple of months ago so I am in the early stages of getting familiar with it. It has 67,522 miles on it today and runs beautifully. It was time for the service A so I found this shop which specializes in Sprinter vans and was pleasantly surprised at how fast they were able to start and complete the service. Not being a mechanic I can only say that they were pleasant to deal with so I felt at ease and my van is continuing to run very well so I have no complaints at this time and am inclined to use their service in the future.

This shop is earning my business now for the past three years. They evaluate quickly and accurately without the nonsense I was getting at the dealer. My only reservation with giving them a perfect score is that word will get out that they are the best and I may have to wait longer to get my vehicle in when I need. They re great!

San Diego sprinter service did a great job on our work van. We had them do our brakes and rotors as well as some routine maintenance. Their prices were better than what other shops quoted us and we got our van back very quickly.We also had them repair our air condition system and they did it for less than half the price of the first shop we brought it to and it was also done the same day!They have a lot of knowledge on sprinter vans and a friendly staff. We will definitely bring our van back for future repairs and maintenance.Services: Transmission, Electrical repair, Air & cabin filter replacement, Auto A/C replacement, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning, Brake service & repair

This review is long over-due. But better late than never. The team at Sprinter Service & Repair San Diego is the spot to go to if you and your sprinter need help. They serviced my 03 Sprinter a little over a year ago and let's just say they went above and beyond. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. Good honest, knowledgeable and hard working mechanics - good all around people with the right vibe. You guys rules. Thank you!

Got my glow plug changed here, service was done quickly. However, they wanted $330 to replace the coolant expansion tank, even though just changing the cap would have been enough ($15 on eBay/amz).

The service team at San Diego Sprinter Service & Repair are first rate at what they do and quality of service. They use modern internet friendly communication that eliminates missed phone calls and they diagnosed and addressed the issues professionally with my Winnebago Vita RV Sprinter.

These guys totally got me out of a jam today. I was passing through the area on my way to Tucson and a warning light came on in my 2005 sprinter. I googled "Sprinter service near me" and they came right up. I called and Maxim made an appointment for me today, the next morning at 8:00am. The problem was diagnosed, the part was ordered and I was back on the road by 10:30am. Fast, professional and they're really nice guys. If you have a sprinter, these are the guys to go to!

I was able to get in quickly on the two times I ve been here so far, and even more impressive, I ve been able to get out quickly as well. I had friends pick me up but it really wasn t necessary as he did the work right away. First visit they replaced the water pump and all that goes with it. That was 3 years ago and it s still going strong. This time was just oil change, air and cabin air filters changed. They checked my brakes and said I m good for a while yet. No upselling.

Excellent all around! Was on a trip out to San Diego visiting family, and had check engine light come on. They ran all of the diagnostics, and assured me nothing was wrong, and didn't try to screw me with un-needed work. I was due for my schedule B, so I went ahead and had them complete it all the same morning. Had me in and out the same day. I will make a point to see them on my visits to get any service work done!

Vladimir and crew got me out of a serious jam today. I've been so busy I waited too long to fill the DEF and got the dreaded "15 starts left" warning message- I was right in the middle of a long list of stops from san diego to LA to Corona, I was screwed. Called dealer first- 300.00 to "recalibrate" but can't get in for days... called my sprinter yoda buddy and he recommended I give Vladimir a call, but warned me they are always very busy... but they are worth the wait. I called in a panic and told them my situation. Told me to bring it in right away. I was there in 15 minutes, they pulled it right in and got to work... I had been trying my best to ignore the Brake service warning light for hundreds of miles mainly because I rely on my van for work (i understand the stupidity of forgoing maintenance on the vehicle that pays my bills, but I'm a gold medal procrastinator). At that point I felt like I'd won the lottery just getting them to take a look at the DEF problem and figured I'd have to come back at some point in the future to get the brakes done, but to my shock, they said they could do the complete brakes (rotors too thanks to my procrastination) on the spot... he also checked my transmission fluid and it was black, not pink, so they did a fluid change and flush while it was getting brakes- I was out in 2.5 hours and their lobby was so quiet and clean, i got a bunch of paperwork done. A bad day turned around thanks to Vladimir and his crew! Finally a place that I can trust and not have to get bent over by the MB dealership service dept.

Great work! These guys know sprinter vans better than the dealership mechanics do. They will have you diagnosed, repaired and on your way! Maxim and Dimitri are very professional and very knowledgeable! We found them on YouTube with their helpful videos and planned our trip out to them from Georgia. While getting serviced I met a sprinter owner from South Carolina and another from Florida.I highly recommend these fellas, for your Sprinter vans, that's all they work on!

Sprinter Service only works on sprinter vans or sprinter based vans including freiggtliner and Dodge. Tgis makes tgem very knowlegable of what they do. They are way cheaper then Mercedes dealer, more knowlegable and honest. They wont try to up sell you things you don't need.

Sprinter Service & Repair has consistently impressed me with their fair pricing and honest approach. It's refreshing to find a place where I don't have to worry about being overcharged or sold unnecessary services. They genuinely care about their customers' satisfaction, and it shows in every interaction.

I have gone to both the Vista and San Diego shops and each time was perfect. They educate the client each time, don't up sell ( I thought I needed new brake pads and they inspected and said I was good to go another 10k miles) and don't use scare tactics to make you do more than is needed. Hope these guys are around for as long as I have my van. Currently at 60k miles and hope to have it until at least 200k. With their help I am sure I can.Service: Auto engine tuning

I m so so happy I found this place! Guys definitely know their business. I was traveling to NYC on my sprinter van, got a battery issue and wasn t sure what to do cause with sprinter you kinda cannot just show up at any shop. Called the owner and he was very kind to help me out on the phone even though it was pretty late. I m so grateful for this! This shop has great reviews and they deserve it. Dedicated to Sprinters only. Took my 14V in for an oil change and asked them to give it a good once over. Didn t just tell me everything it needed, he showed me. A white towel with current fluids next to fresh fluids: trans was brown compared to pink. Fuel filter was leaking and fuel hose deteriorating. I got engine oil, trans flush and filter, fuel filter & line replaced, engine and cabin filters. All in under $1200. I asked about rear differential and brake flush. the owner said not ready for that. My first service since purchasing the RV. I d bet MB dealer can t beat that price.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Amazing service. Gives you the advice you need on the information you asked for. They clearly know what they re doing. Love their YouTube videos. I for one am very grateful to have spoken to the owner, whom took the time with me on phone helping me out and explaining in detail of certain situations of the matter and beyond. Friendly for sure. Recommend; absolutely! To say all this, I m in Canada I wish I could go and see him but he s 3000 miles away. And I wish she had a garage in the east coast and maybe one in Canada. Are you kidding me? Excellent. I've worked with a number of great mechanics for our 2006 Sprinter but these guys are next level. The people running the shop are not only incredibly knowledgable but very kind as well. Went in for a FREE inspection, were given a quote, and had the work done within hours. They specialize in sprinters and it shows. In addition to changing some filters and replacing a ball joint they fixed the sliding door and even fixed an annoying squeak in the drivers side door (I didn't mention this but they noticed it and fixed it). The shop is clean and we were able to hang out and work with our dogs while we waited for the van to be done. After all that, the price was incredibly reasonable! 10/10 will return even if just for an inspection and tune up when we're in the area. I have been using these guys ever since I learned about them, and I have visited their shop for different repairs 3 times now, and every time I am there, they find serious issues with my old sprinter that I had not caught. It is a relief that that they know far better than I what to look for. Could have left me stranded. Some of the best sprinter van service in SoCal. They know their stuff when it comes to these vehicles. I will take my sprinter to them whenever I need I anything done fast and efficiently. Plus they have an unmatched customer service. Ask for Vlad if your in the miramar area.

Mercedes Benz said a fault code in the diesel fuel filter heater required a replacement for $648. I called Sprinter service, they replaced the filter for $235. Excellent work, quick and reasonable. Last year they exchanged all the fluids in transmission and throughout the vehicle. Vlad and his crew are amazing! They looked at a transmission leak my Sprinter had, diagnosed it and repaired it in an hour. I even asked about services and they checked everything and said I didn t need services at this time. They could ve charged me much more or done the services I didn t need.
