DISCLOSURE FAILDISCLOSURE FAILDISCLOSURE FAILI am not complaining about the repairs the repairs were not the problem. It is their lack of disclosure and bad business tactics I am angry about.I was devastated after getting the call for the cost of repairs and then finding out after reading their huge sign "FREE BRAKE INSPECTION" Was not free unless they did the work. I signed a piece of paper BUT was never told hey you are signing an agreement to pay $149 for a "NOT FREE INSPECTION" THAT is false advertising and bait and switch. NOT COOL AT ALL. I am currently financially crippled I did only front brakes to avoid losing $149 for an inspection which was not free. The dad is a very nice man but I don't like this kind of undisclosed hidden agenda done by his son who is running the business a bait-and-switch scam business tactic. I drive for Uber my struggle is real at the end of the day NOT disclosing to someone in my situation is the difference between surviving or becoming homeless and I don't take kindly to abusing people. I am not exaggerating when I say survive or be homeless it's not a joke it is true.PS: Being a Google guide I take my reviews seriously I do not wish to hurt any businesses but when a business acts deceitfully I make it my business to let the public know. Again the work was not the problem it was the lack of disclosure. All mechanics I called for estimates who charged told me upfront we charge or don't charge or remove fees if we do the work. I was told nothing.

This was the fourth time I ve taken my camper van to Speedy Auto for repairs. This is a family business, and they treat you like family. Sam and his father went above and beyond to give me the confidence I need to travel solo across country this Spring. Since moving to the mountains, I had to drive more than an hour to get here, and it was worth it. They go above and beyond, and I feel like I can trust them to be fair, honest, and to guarantee their work. I will continue to take my van in to Speedy for maintenance & repairs for as long as I own her and will recommend that her next owners do the same :-)

Speedy Auto repair is my go to spot for auto repair and smog check. The family that owns the shop really go above and beyond to make you feel confident that you ve come to the right place. Just took my car in for smog check yesterday although they were super busy, they got me in/out quickly! 5 Stars!!!!

Raad and Sam were great in helping me get my smog test done and were very good in answering my questions. I sense this shop is very technically capable. I definitely recommend looking into using their maintenance and repair services in the future.Update: Returned a few weeks later for help with attaching front license plate. Again, very very kind and helpful! Sam, thanks SO MUCH for your assistance!

I would highly recommend this auto shop! They were very professional, very helpful, and have competitive pricing. I ve been using this mechanic shop for the last 10 years. They are very knowledgeable, trustworthy, and have a lot of experience in fixing all types of vehicles. I can always count on trustworthy, prompt service, and they always answer all of my questions with no hesitation. if you want your repairs done correctly, stop by here for exceptional service. 10/10

Absolute trash. These guys do good repairs but they will rip you off on price. I got my old van smogged there and they failed it, told me to apply for cap program and that they do free retest with repairs. Cap program denied me because I was missing a smog part. This guy still refused to do the repair on the $12 part missing and refused to do a free retest. Got robbed of $200

This shop is the best, I highly recommend! My truck broke down in San Diego after my trip from Phoenix. Sam went above and beyond to make sure I was back on the road. Sam was very informative, friendly, and kept communication with me. I had to make it back home to Phoenix with my family and Sam was able to fix my truck before the expected time. I made it back to Phoenix with no issues.

Brothers Sam and Danny are awesome! I love supporting small/family businesses. The amount of care and customer service they put in with every customer really shows. I came in to get a smog check done on my car, and talk about speedy!! They really do deliver on their name. I would definitely recommend them for your automotive service needs, and support a family business!!

I ve been looking for a one-stop shop for all my car repair needs, and I ve finally found it with Speedy Auto Repair! I ve gotten a smog test done here, new tires, new brakes, & replacement pieces for my side view mirrors. They really can do it all, and they are so friendly during the entire process. I don t know anything about cars but they ve taken time to explain why certain parts needed to be replaced or what the dangers were if they were not replaced. I appreciate them and will be coming back for all my car needs from here on out!

Speedy Auto Repair was exactly as their name presents! I pulled in with a leaking radiator, and a broken serpentine belt tensioner, sending my truck into loss of voltage and overheating in minutes. Luckily, Speedy was close by and was able to pull in. Saved the block from cracking.Cost savings, expedient repair of my cooling system. Diagnosed, and repaired in less time than was expecting. I would absolutely recommend Speedy Auto Repair for anyone needing immediate repair. Though a small shop, they re experts!Ask for Sam!

I had a fleet managed vehicle thay broke down on me while working out in San Diego. Came across this spot and am very lucky to have found it! I was able to drop off the car/get it towed after hours sincw they have a drop box right outside their door. They just asked me to leave my key with a note containing my contact info for them to reference in the morning. They conveniently send updates on your vehicle's progress through text and also allow you to text the number for any inquiries regarding your car's repair. They are very good at communicating everything throughout the process. Very friendly customer service and genuine people working here My work car is running great. Definitely recommend this place!

Didn't even make it to the parking lot. A truck in front of me pull in the same time as me and park in the middle of the driveway, And it came out it was the owner. He walked out of the truck and told me a had to go a other way, he was the owner of the property. There was plenty of parking on the left side. We bouth easily could park with no problem.If he the owner I don't what to know how is everyone else. Customer service

This auto repair certainly lived up to it's name speedy. Both the father and son were very nice to work with. The father even helped me to understand how to fix another problem not in their services. My car was taken in right away and completed in a very short time. I highly recommend Speedy Auto Repair to anyone needing their services.

After I practically fell into a giant pothole, bottoming out 4 times in the same pothole, I noticed all my transmission fluid was running out of a giant gash in the transmission pan. I did a quick search and cslled 4 mechanics but they were either closed or busy, and I was referred to Speedy. I called and they were familiar with Lexus and said they could repair the ES350. They were friendly and competitively priced and had the repairs completed within the estimate and within 2 days. They were honest and competent and I will use them again in the future.Services: Transmission, Transmission repair, Auto maintenance

This is regarding the smog check I had done today. Work part was actually great. I got quick and prompt service regarding my car getting a smog check. The mechanic and the guy at the desk were very courteous.Why 2 stars? Online, they advertised $36.95. When I mentioned this price was advertised, I was told they were not redeeming that coupon TODAY.Their sponsored ad on Google is what brought me to their door. This came up in search results for smog check near me. Also, I desperately needed the smog check as I needed to update my delinquent registration ASAP. When I saw their listing, I made a decision to go there.If I had walked in and paid close to $70* with no advertised price, I would not be upset. I still might think that s a bit pricey but be OK with it. However, since it was advertised and the stipulations were not spelled out in the Google ad, that s one issue. When I had the offer displayed on their website, that wasn t enough either. Granted, setting the appointment may be the way to do it. However, that they chose not to honor this for me as a customer who brought up that it was advertised left a bad taste in my mouth.You have my money now. I m not coming back for any other services and I will look elsewhere when it s time to update the smog check for a registration.Overall, great service but lousy business practice.*Edit: OK, they took $10 off and I could have paid close to $80 for this smog check. Still, this doesn t make up for that he refused to honor the price advertised on their Google Ad and their website without any explanation. Even with that discount offered to make up for this, I still felt yucky and gaslit and overall feeling ripped off. Not coming back for smog check or services for my car.

From the start Mr.Sam was nothing but great. He explained the process of each service that I chose. ((I know nothing about cars and how to fix it so don t judge me. Ha! )) I needed my Transmission & Coolant Flushed. The service was very fast and professional and my car felt so much better as I drove away. Thank you Speedy Auto!

I am not familiar with cars AT ALL so when I called in about a light that came on, I was greeted by a friendly man who told me that I could come in as soon as I wanted. I showed up about 20 minutes later and the same man immediately came out to see what the problem was with the car. He fixed my issue in less than 15 minutes, FREE OF CHARGE (I m assuming because of how simple the fix was, don t go asking these nice people for free services). His customer service was exceptional and I highly recommend this establishment to anyone! Will be coming back if any other issues come up :)Services: Tires, Electrical

Called before I went to get a smog check and they said come on in. When I arrived (please not I am an UNATTRACTIVE woman) upon greeting them and telling them I had just called, the guy says wait, I need to finish what I m doing .when he s done on the computer he has me move the car and then tries to charge me double the advertised price and then blames me for not bringing the form from the DMV. When I asked why he didn t tell me when I called, he rolled his eyes. At that point I decided to leave and tell him to close the hood. He asked me What s wrong with you? Very rude! And trying to tell me I am not acting nice so he can treat me however he likes. DO NOT GO THERE! There are literally thousands of other places in town

Speedy Auto was able to identify what was wrong with my vehicle and fix the problem fast and affordably. It was also a big plus that they showed me what they did and the quality parts they use. The best way to describe them would be hardworking, professional, and trustworthy. I don t normally write reviews, but these guys have gone above and beyond.

I took my VW Jetta in for an oil leak issue, and they were able to repair it in less than 24 hours. It had leaked all over the engine compartment and spark plugs, so they had to clean everything up and now it runs great.Very informative and detailed on what work they are performing on your vehicle and why. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for repairs from reliable mechanics.

Have been taking both of our cars here for smog testing for years. They are the best! Often talk to other customers and hear nothing but good comments from all!
