Great customer service. All of the mechanics are very kind and hardworking. They helped answer all of my questions and took great care of my car problems. The owner, Daniel, is also very friendly and understanding. 10/10 recommend!

Fast service & lots of available appointments. I was even able to get a same day appointment. The guys working there are friendly & efficient. The inspection only takes about 10 minutes & they get you on your way. They could use some better signage to help you find the way in & where to park, but other than that I have no complaints. I will definitely be back & highly recommend them to everyone. 10/10

Courteous, efficient, and fast. I called to see if they had time to smog my car. They said they could do it if I got there within half an hour. I did, and they got me set up, smogged, paid, and out the door within 20 minutes. Excellent!

Quick and straightforward, South Cal Smog does one thing very well. And the guys are honest and friendly - if you're new or not quite sure about it they walk you through everything. And if you've been going there for years like me they have a repeat customer discount! I take care of my cars so they quickly pass most of the time, but once I had a car fail and the retest was free!

First time I came here just because other smog check test station was closed. The building was easy to find but actually the station is behind the building so use the side narrow entrance to go in. Luckily I was able to use the yelp 20%off coupon for it.Service was really quick and this is decent place.

"Their prices were less than competitive for anything older than a 2000."-In response to the reply posted by the business. First off, I am sorry! I thought I was reviewing the first place I went, who was charging almost $80. I have changed my review to reflect the great experience I had at your place. That being said, it doesn't come across as being customer service oriented, when you state that not only did I not come to your place (because I did; with 3 different cars; have been for many years when I worked in Kearny Mesa) and that it's a fake email account. No one believes a business that instantly writes off a review as being fake.I would recommend engaging the writer of the negative reviews, as finding the motivation for their opinion will usually help improve your business.So, in summation, thanks for the great service. Sorry for mixing up the other business with yours, and please be more pensive before slamming someone who may have legitimately posted their thoughts.Service: Emissions testing

Small but wonderful shop with a great customer service department. All my questions were answered to my satisfaction with a smile! Oh and I was in and out the door in about 20 to 25 minutes! These guys are awesome! I came for the first appointment of the day and I was out of there within 20 minutes including the paperwork. I've been going to these guys for years. Heads up on Google directions it's tricky finding the correct driveway.

A trusted shop, I have been going here for well over 10 years. Just finished a smog check for a minivan this afternoon in 20 minutes after not needing one for any of my vehicles for 5 years. Nothing has changed, same no-frills location and test bays. Standard listed prices are clearly posted but they usually quote you a discounted price so just ask. No reason to go anywhere else until they stop doing business! Only improvement would be longer weekday and Saturday hours but if you can make an appointment ahead of time, all is good.
