Kind and honest! I needed an emergent tire repair so they saw me right away. Every single person I interacted with was incredibly lovely. The prices are reasonable and the service was expeditiously thorough. I will continue to come to Skelleys for any of my car concerns. Shout out to Junior and the crew for all their help.

Marcelino the owner is a awesome honest dude totally recommend this place I get oil changes regular and he saved me thousand s when I was thinking about buying a new car he checked out the car that I was thinking about buying and he found all kinds of body damage and I didn t end up buying the car because it was in a accident and I felt really good bringing it over here trustworthy dude

Had a small fix. Told me to buy the part and they would desk out in for $200. I went in to pick up the car and he ended up charging $100 more. Usually a mechanic will call you and ask/warn you that it's going to be more expensive. This guy didn't. Was very friendly but I can't do business with them again. Felt ripped off.

I suspect Marcelino and his team are burnout, the shop is a complete mess, tools, trash is everywhere. The repairs are poorly done and extra expensive, diagnostics is non existent so you can imagine the results. Unfortunately this use to be a great place to have auto repair but after COVID it has not been the same. I'm forced to buy a new car to avoid places like this. If you think Marcelino is over charging you, you are not alone. Good luck

Marcellino and his team are such hard workers and the most honest mechanics around. As a female I feel like people are constantly up charging me. I trust Marcellino with all of my family s vehicles and I even moved away from the neighborhood but keep using him. Highly recommend!

I always take my Sequoia and my F150 toSkelly's. Marcelino and those guys they always figure it out. I have a safe truck again, a new transmission runs like new.

This relationship started great, but after this last time I will not return.I took my car in for an oil leak, got it back quick and cheap which maybe should have been a sign. I found out it was still leaking a few days later. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and brought it back.This second time I did tell them it wasn t a rush. But, after a month of them having it there was no progress and it hadn t even been moved from the spot they first parked it when I dropped it off. I told him I needed the car in a few weeks. I followed up 1-2 times a week for the next 2 weeks and every time I was told it ll be done at the end of the week. Finally, after getting in a fight with them about how I actually need my car at some point and a full 6+ weeks after I dropped it off, and $1500 (between the 2 times) I get my car back.2 days later I notice both oil and coolant on the ground as well as underside of the car. I m told first it does that sometimes after you first fix it , then when I press, I m told they spilled both fluids while topping them off and that it s residual fluids. So after being given the run around and proof that they are unable to fix the issue, I m supposed to believe it s fixed this time and that s just a spill.Moral of the story here, I wouldn t trust this place and I sure wouldn t bring my car there. I thought it was going to be great and I lost 2 months and $1500 (between both times) and still have to bring it to another shop to actually get fixed.

Never again, this place rips you off and does a terrible job, if you do not pressure Marcelino your car gets move to the side and forgotten. Please avoid this place. Also here you don t get a initial quote until the end which will shock you!

Fast, friendly service, priced fair and honest. Marcelino was straightforward about the repairs that needed to be done. I ve been searching for a good mechanic in San Diego and he was recommended to me by an Uber driver. Happy to have found my go to mechanic for car troubles, especially as a woman

So Marcelino is weird for a mechanic. Weird, in that he's honest, very honest. I don't know what's wrong with him, really. I mean, shouldn't he be charging me to replace my spark plugs every time I bring my car in? In fact, I never thought I'd say this for anyone, much less a mechanic, but sometimes I feel like I'm not paying enough. I'm not charging you for this he says. 'Really?', I think to myself. Is that possible?This guy is 100% genuine. He loves his job. I know this because I talked to him for a while and found out he has an electrical engineering degree, but quit cause he wanted to be a mechanic. That's someone who really wants to be a mechanic and loves what he does. He's been nothing but helpful and awesome. Can't recommend him, and his team, enough.

Went in for a couple fuzes for my RV and was warmly received and even had some great conversations about travels and culture with the owner, Marcelino, who it turns out has owned the shop for as long as I've been alive! Totally humble and good guy that really enjoys running his business. Shop was well organized and the crew was diligent with their work. Absolutely WILL BE BACK for future service and parts.

Very honest!!!! I was told at pepboys that my battery cables were completely corroded and my starter was bad. They wanted to charge me 900 dollars for total repairs. I found Skelleys and he looked at it and said the connectors in the battery were bad and it would only be 90 bucks. He showed me my cables were not corroded. I have been using Skelley for 2 years. He is awesome I highly recommend him!!!

It seems the shop offers more than just automotive services. They first botched a shock absorber job and overcharged. Then, after asking for a partial refund, the owner Marcelino Garcia offered to stick his finger in my rear with a vulgar hand motion to indicate how that service would be performed. Don't trust your car to this shop and find your pleasure elsewhere.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I wish I could give this place more stars. I am happy I found a reliable and honest mechanic close to home. The customer service to the efficiency of the work completed were outstanding. All of this for a great price.

i have had three great experiences taking my old Volvo to Skelley's. I've also sent friends their that are touring musicians in vans on tours that require them to get back on the road quickly to make their next gig. Skelley's always comes through with great service and a helpful, personable approach. They're great.

Went to this place yesterday since my door lock malfunctioned, I was mislead about the costs of the repairs quickly went from $130 to over $200 and when I tried to let them know that I d like to take my car somewhere else they tried to charge me $95 for telling me what I already knew. Not cool, they eventually have me a break but I had to go through this mess first.

I can t even put into words on how wonderful of an experience I had at Skelley s today. The service was fast and thorough. This is a great garage with very knowledgeable and caring individuals. I know if I need anything in the future I will go to Skelley s!

I've been going here for twenty years and they have always treated me good Mercellino is always pulling dents out or polishing cloudy headlights or replacing burned out bulbs that weren't on the work order
