I hate to write a bad review but, here's a couple things that I found plus the windshield still had bugs on it and they left the windshield wipers on so as soon as I drove away they made water marks, also the interior panels (piano black) had water marks on them. The exhaust wasn't even touch when I got home I wiped them down with water and a rag (no chemicals) and it wiped right off. I would honestly have no issues with this if I didn't pay $70 dollars for the service plus tip.

SHOUT OUT to Luis! He took extra care with my truck, and gave me a great recommendation on their clay treatment. His personal touch made my first experience here a memorable one, and I will be back! They have plenty of out door seating, and a nice little gift shop inside as well. The lady at the front desk was very helpful, and was able to give me change for a tip. Every single person I encountered had top notch customer service. Thank you !!

My go to Car Wash. Conveniently located right off the 15 on Scripps Poway Parkway. They offer regular washes, deluxe washes and full or partial details. Their prices are reasonable and the crew is always super friendly. There is a store that had candy, cards, and little gifts if you needs something on the go. They take their time to make sure they get it right and in the rare case a spot is missed, they will fix it. I've been going here for like 15 years and have never had a bad car wash. This will always be my go to carwash. Thanks!!!!!!

For a $70 wash, this was really disappointing.When I pulled up I asked how long it would take, because I had a dinner date across the street in just over an hour. They said 45 minutes. Great! Time to spare! It took and hour and a half.They're extremely disorganized; I watched the inside of my passenger door get sprayed and blown out 3 times, yet my mirrors weren't cleaned. The top of my car wasn't dried, so when I pulled away a bunch of water went streaming down my rear windshield.They scratched up my door jam by standing on it to reach the windshield and the top of the car.When I started my car, the windshield wipers came on, so I immediately had those marks, too.The things that they didn't mess up were done well; my dash looks great, my doors look good- but for $70 plus tip I expect nothing to go overlooked. Even just wiping the mirrors with a cloth (no Windex) would have been better than the water spots from neglecting it.

So unhappy with my experience today. I recently got a new car (less than 2 weeks ago) and have been very careful with it. It had been detailed at purchase. Since it is black I have washed/hand dried it myself it twice since I got it. Today I took it here on someone's recommendation. When I received my car back my tint was damaged. It has 10-15 spots on the driver window that were not there prior. 1 on the passenger side. When I asked I was told "oh it's from the seatbelt. We see this all the time. It probably just shows up now because it is clean". I was not buying this excuse because I knew it was not like that at drop off. And they are all uniform. I also noticed bubbles behind my sticker on the window. I strongly believe that what ever caused those bubbles also caused smaller ones that popped leaving the holes. The only reason the others didn't is because they were behind the sticker. I could push and move them around. I left because I was so upset but decided to give my car a walk around when I got home. There are water spots here and there, no big deal but when I walked around the passenger side I became livid all over again. My rear door has a massive swirly scratch, like someone used a rag to wash/dry that had something on it. I did not reach out because of the way I was brushed off initially. Be wary people. Stay with your car. Hold people accountable. I am heartbroken that I've not even made my first payment and my car is already damaged.Services: Full body wash, Auto detailing

They did a first rate job on my interior/exterior full service detail. Horrible, unprofessional people. Avoid this place like a plague. I took my new Tesla Model Y for a clean and they broke the seat panel. They just ripped it apart. I called the manager to come take a look at it, the guy was basically saying you can't prove it was us. That's it. Not even an apology. Shameless people. [TLDR: If you love your car, then go somewhere else. If you thrash your car and just need it hosed down once in a while, then this is your place. But be warned, pay for the top of the line package, or a hose down is probably all you're getting.]***edit after reply,A company doesn't get bad reviews regularly if there isn't a real problem. Some of these scratches will buff out (some won't), but a paint correction to remove swirl makes and minor scratches alone is $200-$300 or more.I don't have the time, nor should I have to, go back to tell your guys they missed some spots. I also don't want to waste my time going back just for you to review your cameras and not see proof of swirl marks in black paint from a camera that is a dozen or more feet away. I'd rather just spend my money elsewhere. It seems as if you're making enough money to not actually care, but i'll give you one more star for taking the time to reply. Baby steps...I also just noticed that you asked me to contact you for a resolution without giving me any contact information or directing me somewhere. Also, I was in Black 4Runner around 1PM, but I doubt you'll even read this.***My car was only rinsed off and wiped down. It wasn't very dirty; just some dust and road grime from 2 days of rain. I can tell from all the swirl marks and scratches left on my black paint, and didn't even wipe the door handles! They have caused hundreds of dollars in paint correction. Avoid this place at all costs. If they can't handle a simple car wash, then why should anyone trust them to detail their car? Just trust all the bad reviews, and find a good mobile guy and stick with him.

Interior of car stinks following an exterior car wash. Sam at the wash says this is normal after a holiday closure because the water sits and becomes a cesspool. It smells like sulpher and is pretty gross.

I read the other reviews and said, how bad can it be... oh gosh!I bought the $50dlls one, brand new car left to eat when I came back car was suppose to be ready but it wasnt even vacumed..I talked to the manager and they started removing dust with their dirty rugs, my car end up with bunch of swirls all around. Great, now I have to take it somewhere else to get it wax.I wish I would have taken more pictures.IServices: Full body wash, Wheel washing

Used to be good place. Not doing a thorough job anymore. For the deluxe package of $50, they didn't touch inside the trunk, at least they could have vacuumed. Also the underside of the door which the machine won't clean, they used to run a wet towel by hand, not any more.

It s very frustrating when you don t get the service you paid for!In the beginning I asked the guy to clean my car showed him exactly what I wanted to clean he said I have but the $50 package so they can do all that I said ok great! Guess what it wasn t done they didn t even clean the back of the car even though that was originally what I had asked. I had to ask twice for them to clean it and here s what I get as you can see from the photos

I ll preface this review by saying I normally always wash my car by hand by myself. After having a window broken I decided to get a professional detail. The next day I noticed how poorly they wiped down the interior. Everywhere a solution was sprayed left a noticeable streak. Maybe they forgot to wipe it down or just failed to pay attention to this detail. For a $119 wash and clean this seems unacceptable to me. I ll continue to wash my own vehicle in the future and will not be doing business with Scripps Poway Hand Car Wash and Detail.

Went here for the first time today and was very happy overall. Got the $100 wash and detailing for my yellow mustang. Seemed fairly busy, which is a good sign; Body Beautiful in Poway has closed down and Touch of Class by Outback is closed for remodeling. Total time was just under an hour, Donut Touch serves a range of food and drinks if needed while waiting.Services: Full body wash, Auto detailing, Wheel washing, Auto interior vacuuming, Car waxing

Full detail by Luis. Car looks great. Took just over two hours, small hatchback Leaf. Would have taken me all day plus a sore back so I'll not complain about the price. 300 for full detail inside and out.

I got the $70 detail and they did a pretty decent job. Took about an hour and a half to do. My truck has specialty paint that shines really well when hand washed and waxed. The interior of the truck was done very well. My weather tech floor mats were spotless, and they were pretty thrashed before the washed. (I m a construction worker) they missed a few spots on the grill, which I wasn t too stoked about but overall they did a good job.

It is hard to find a full service car wash that vacuums for you. This car wash has employees that go the extra mile to make my car look great again! They really did a great job and they earned a big tip too.

1 star for effort.I came in for a complete detail on 05 Jun 2021 and was charged for 299.99USD. I was told that it will take ~3 hrs to completely detail my SUV so I sat down inside their store for ~2hrs to do some work. Once I was done, I came out to watch my car for ~40mins and noticed that no one seemed to be working on it. At this point, my car just looked like it only received some initial wipe down. I have not washed my car for sometime so the pillars between my windows still looked matte and flawed from a far. I thought it was kinda odd so I followed up on the time. I was told 2 more hrs is needed. I came back ~ 1:30hr after getting lunch and my car was ready.It was not a Complete Detail caliber. It looked rushed. There was dried spray marks all over my car like it was treated with something but not wiped properly. They didn't even know I have a moon roof that needs cleaning so I had them clean that one as well. I basically spent another 10mins pointing out obvious details around the exterior that should have been spotted right in the bat. My steering wheel was treated with a shiner but not cleaned properly so the backside is not the same color as the front half. My carpet was not that soiled to begin with but I was still expecting a steam cleaning since it was included in the interior package. It was neglected. The trunk walls were also not cleaned since they still have some faint dirt marks. I know the back side of my car is rarely used but that doesn't give the chance to miss those tiny details. The leather upholstery was treated but only where eye's reach at first glance. The parts that are slightly hidden are missed.The work provided felt skin deep. I was disappointed. It was a complete waste of time to go there. At best, it was a mini detail quality in dollar worth. This will not happen again. I basically wasted money. I've had an express detail done before and my car looked even shinier then than now.For anyone looking for a true complete detail, please be smart and go somewhere else where your hard earn money is respected and your car is conscientiously treated. This car wash fails in one standard you look for a detail service: attention to detail._________The worst part is that my neck pillow that was on the driver seat was smeared! It's a personal item that they could have placed somewhere else in harms way. This and a rack of orange juice were the only items in my car so I don't understand the complete lack of care. I have been a customer of this place for 5 years but guess not anymore. Paid a $49.99 Jade package but received a worse than basic wash job. Pics tell it all. Talked to the on site manager and told him we are not coming back but it seems that he couldn't care less.

Not only was the car wash mediocre, I had water spots all over my windows after the wash! Worst part is they charged me $69 for a $29 express wash. Please double check your card statements after dealing with these fraudsters.

They are wonderful. I had always washed my cars myself and never would take them through a car wash. I'm no longer able to was my cars due to health reasons. I found Scripts Poway Hand wash and found they don't use brushes. They hand wash and dry the car by hand. When they are done the car is beautiful. The owner and all his employees are very courteous . I have been going to them for at least 7 years and have never been disappointed.Services: Full body wash, Wheel washing, Auto interior vacuuming

I have been a customer for years and I haven't had any bad experiences with Scripps Poway Auto detailing. They have always done an excellent job cleaning and detailing my car. Now retired I needed a thorough cleaning and polishing due to the pandemic isolation past 2 years. Went and spent a mint but well worth the money. Excellent service in a good amount of time. It looks like the day l purchased it off the lot. Thanks for your time and efforts. Expensive and Staff lacks good customer service. Car wash was not clean enough. Half of it was still filthy. Lots of scratches (it looked liked it was key d) were made on the interior of the car after wash. Not really satisfied with the outcome. Got the most expensive wash which was $60 because I am selling my car and I needed it to look like new. I saw the car in the shade which looked good but when I got home and parked it in the sun I could tell that my rims were not even cleaned in between it was a wash just from the front. Interior was whipped with very little detail. I am not picky but for paying a premium I sure am mad. Never felt like I threw my money in the trash like this. Do not recommend.I wanted my car washed as it had bug marks on the front. I went for the basic $10 wash and they added $5 extra (cuz of the bug marks). I agreed as it would take some effort in cleaning those out.They gave the car back to me after washing, and many of the bug marks were still on the front. The guy said, that is all you get for the basic $10 wash price. I told him, I was charged additional for it. The guy kept saying the same thing, that is all you get for basic wash.When I told the owner, he shrugged it off.Why charge extra and not do the work it was charged for? Very unprofessionalI will not be returning here.

My car always still dirty. The windshield always had streaks. Very disappointed. I gave it 3 chances, all the same. Never come back again
