I brought my car in to have some goodies installed including a Wagner intercooler which was supposed to fit my car. Michael and team went above and beyond to go back and forth with the stubborn vendor until they recognized a problem with their design due to VW changing parts and agreed to make things right. My car was taking up shop space for a good while during this time and Michael was really helpful and understanding and helped find a replacement part which fit. The car came back in great shape and the work and alignment look good.

This group has been amazingly helpful. When I made a mistake, they fixed the issue and did not charge me. The fix was to switch programming slots but still, no charge. 2 years later, I was unable to ready up all monitors and after working with me over the phone for about 30 minutes their tech gave me an idea to try while I wait for the scheduled appointment. The tech was correct and I was able to finish and again, no charge. I am very grateful and humbled that there are still people out there that just want to help. You are all rock stars and I will find a way to bring you some business! Thank you PMS!

I have a 2010 Audi S5 cab and had a CTS single pulley installed for about 6mths when all of a sudden the pulley came off. Researching through the Audi forums it appears to occur often if the CTS pulley is not heated properly. Anyways I decided to get it done professionally through PUREMS. I've seen them post on other Audi forums and was near me. It will also save me time from pulling the bumper in service mode. Long story short I brought it in and purchased an APR Single Pulley which should work with my current IE tune. Dropped it off and called about 3 hrs later and was told that they couldn't install the pulley because something stopping it from the supercharger shaft... a little disappointed but okay. Then he says not only that but their removal tool broke. I asked if there was anyway to fix it.. he replied and said no way to fix my removal tool but you will probably need to purchase a new supercharger. Sounded to me he was blaming me for his tool breaking. Anyways I picked it up from this shop and still ended up paying $500. He explained the shaft being damage etc... but how do I know it wasn't them damaging it since their removal tool broke. Went home the same day and I was able to install the pulley with a little youtube help. I emailed him back saying I got it on and he said it looks like the pulley was completely discolored from overheating and they were not going to do that and compromise the integrity of the pulley. Okay fair enough, but I then send him a forum thread where others were having issues getting the pulley on with the APR pulley at 375 degrees. Now is that an issue with my supercharger or the product? Mike replied with "Glad you found someone who was able to do it using a solution not recommend by APR.We've only installed about 80 of these, we have a little experience with this." But after looking closely in my engine bay and seeing that 4 of the screws on the plastic shroud was completely cracked. I emailed him back with the pictures and for a company with experience, why the heck would their mechanic over torque the screws and crack the plastic shroud. He never responded back. I'm just glad I got it installed without having to purchase a supercharger.

Dropped my car off for some mechanical work only to pick it up with the headliner almost completely detached. Mike changed his story from no one was inside the car to it must have happened when the tech was driving around with the windows down several times despite the fact that the damage was immediately visible when looking in the rear view mirror. Mike was combative and took zero accountability. If you use them, take a full video of the before to guard yourself against any damage that may occur to your car under their watch.Service: General repairs & maintenance

TL,DR; If you value the exterior condition of your vehicles I would suggest steering clear of this shop. With no private parking, your vehicles are apparently not protected whatsoever by the owner or his shop against any damage.I have been a PURE Motorsport customer for several years now, and never had any problem with their services. Up until this point, probably would have recommended them. I will no longer be giving my business to this company.I brought my car in for some standard work, dropped off the keys in person, and left my car in the care of PURE Motorsport. When service was completed several hours later, I headed back down to pick up my vehicle. Upon returning, I IMMEDIATELY saw a very large, very deep dent and multiple scratches down to the metal of the door.I went inside to notify the owner of the damage, expecting this would be a standard insurance claim or some sort of effort would be taken to help the situation. After some deliberation with his technician he stated there was "No way my shop did the damage" and it was probably a "random door ding from their lot". When asked what the shop planned on doing about this, since the vehicle was damaged while in their care, they said "nothing". They offered to check some surrounding security cameras, but said nothing showed up.Since the owner was VERY clear that they were not going to do anything else about the damage that occurred while in their possession, I'm now posting here, filing a claim with my insurance, and filing a claim with the BBB.Services: Wheel alignment, Auto brake replacement

My first visit to Pure. Very pleased with the brake job they did on my Audi TT. John offered suggestions for upgraded parts, without doing a hard sell. Price was very reasonable, and definitely less expensive than the dealer, even for a better quality pad. I will definitely be back for future work.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Only place I will bring my S4 in for service, maintenance, or repairs. The guys are always friendly and keep me up to date on expected, as well as unexpected. I appreciate attention to detail as they tend to treat my car as if it was their own.

Rrally easy to do business with this shop. Told them exactly what I wanted, they told me what they could do. Prices were up front and didn't feel like they were trying to hide anything or get over on me. They called me as soon as my parts arrived and I scheduled an install with ease.Will be bringing my car back to them if I decide to get additional work done, and will also be bringing it to them for routine maintenance. Their price for an oil change is essentially what the dealer would charge, so it's a no brainer to one-support a local business and two-bring my car to a shop that specializes in VW/Audi vehicles.

I've been coming here for years. I have an older first generation model TT Audi. These older cars require old school know how and a very keen understanding of how the motors and operating systems work in first generation vehicles. The newer techs at the dealers these days don't seem to understand much of the older models unless you find someone who's been working under the hoods for 20 plus years and really knows their craft and is ALSO willing to explain it to you while the maintenance or service is being rendered, not just hand over the bill.That is exactly what I have always received from Pure Motorsport. Mike & his team of techs know their craft. I have always received top notch service, which has always consisted of a CLEAR explanation of what is needing adjustment, the why behind it (very important), and a price that is always fair. I simply take comfort in knowing that my vehicle is in the hands of real pros that aren't out to gouge my wallet because they know their stuff and they do, they just don't take advantage of it.Make an appointment, let them take care of your vehicle and see for yourself. You'll be back for all your needs whether its tuning, repairs, or just regular maintenance. I lived in Palm Springs, and did absolutely everything on my ride that I could do myself from oil, brakes, rotors, plugs, fluids, etc... (You get the pic) but when I needed something I didn't have the tools or know how I would drive 2hrs down to San Diego to have these guys take care of it.I'm sharing this because of the amount of effort to make that drive and back isn't easy or cheap but the service and peace of mind that came with it was bar none, best I've had for that vehicle. That's my point, you don't drive 2hrs for second rate.Hope this review helps to those seeking help with their rides. Stay safeShout out to Mike for all that you do!Everest

Great shop! Went here after being tired of getting raked over coals at the Dealers and on a referral from a co-worker. Brought my R32 in and had some maintenance done and some parts installed. They were super nice and the labor rate is better than that of the dealer. Plus you're dealing with people who genuinely love working and being around cars not just there to collect a check. An added plus is that they didn't gripe over me supplying some parts i needed installed unlike some other shops out there.Keep up the good work guys!!

I never leave reviews but these guys took great care of me. Needed rare valve adaptors for a set of wheels I bought which were sold out everywhere except here. After placing my order the guys at Pure Motorsport gave me a call to inform me that I might have accidentally ordered more than I needed and they were right, saved me from spending more than I should have. Any other place wouldn t have looked out for customers like that. Great business

Absolutely the best place to take your Audi/VW for maintenance and those tough jobs you just don't have the time for. Customer service has always been excellent, friendly and flexible. Very skilled and knowledgeable techs with an honest attitude and quick turnaround. Appointments recommended, they are a busy shop. I've been here multiple times, and every time has been a pleasure.

Pure Motorsport is excellent. I found them since they could tune cars and have gone back for maintenance ever since. Over more than 5 years I have brought both VW and Audi vehicles and they always go above and beyond to keep the car running great. This review is long overdue but from lots of experience I am always comfortable leaving my car with them.

Great shop, only dropped a star because I had an appointment for a clutch replacement, drove the 30 miles one way to get there for the appointment only to be told that someone swooped in and got the clutch before me. Not sure how that could happen if I had an appointment, but the fact that no one called or emailed to tell me was not cool. Rescheduled the appointment and decided to reach out the day before the appointment to see if they had it, they hadn't even received a shipping confirmation yet. Not sure why they wouldn't reach out to the customer to communicate things like that. Multiple reschedules later, finally got the work done and other than the poor communication they were great. I'll definitely return!

This auto shop specializes in Audi and VW. They do a through job and charge much less than the Audi dealership. I ordered tires from Tire Rack and had the tires delivered to Pure, and they mounted it for me. I also go here for oil changes and service maintenance. The owner is always very calm and patient when dealing all my questions and concerns. Very professional; highly recommend this place!

It was ok. No problem with the service. It s a bit far, staff seem a bit stale. Pricey but that s expected with Audi. They are really far from me. Will try somewhere closer next time. Part of this is the experience. I have nothing bad to say just nothing great to say either. If I were closer, I may go back.

Just picked up my Audi A6 from Pure Motorsports and I am very satisfied with the price I paid for the professional service I received. I failed to complete the service with my own tools so I decided to try Pure MS after hearing a few other German automotive enthusiasts recommend them for a shop in San Diego. I am very particular about who I let work on my car and these guys seemed nothing short of genuine and sincere. I will recommend them to my friends. Thank you mike and team for getting me safely back on the road spending no more than necessary for quality service.

Nice spot for performance tuning, repairs and maintenance, specializing in German engineered cars. The guys know their stuff and are very nice, and go out of their way to accommodate. They helped me with getting my APR tuned MK5 Jetta fixed/tuned up to pass emissions/smog without having to sacrifice all the performance upgrades I had done back in VA years ago.

I've had both scheduled maintenance and aftermarket parts installed, great experiences every time. Mike and his team always take time to answer all my questions, offer advice, and never do I feel like they are selling me anything. The pricing is reasonable, and they get the work done fast with quality parts. Highly recommended!

I've been going to Pure Motorsport since they opened in Temecula. Simply the best Volkswagen Audi maintenance shop in San Diego. They never try to sell me on parts/service that is not needed. I've gone through half dozen cars and each of them come to Pure for service. They are highly recommended!

I brought my Jetta in with a persistent oil leak expecting a $1,000+ bill. These guys noy only fixed the leak within an hour, but the bill was only $65! Highly recommend, they are now my go to for any of my Volkswagen service needs!

The team at Pure is the most knowledgeable and trustworthy you can find in the business. They've serviced at least a dozen of my cars over the years and have always been quick, reasonable,and honest. We're lucky to have them here in San Diego.

Purchased a 2019 VW GTI and 4 days later went over to get the APR ecu and tcu done. Employee John took care of me and answered all of my questions before actually installing the product and explaining how it works. Went over the different features with me and in addition, he was punctual about the installation time. He told me it would be an hour and a half to install. I showed up at an hour and a half on the dot and it was ready. Great shop and definitely won t be the last time they see me.

By far the best place to bring your Audi/WV. These guys are extremely skilled and professional and the best part is their price level is very reasonable. They're not trying to upsell and rip you off, one time they even diagnosed my issue based on a video clip I sent them and helped me fix the issue myself at home.

Very disappointed with the purchase of the STERN motor mounts for my 08 Audi B7 Avant. I bought the soft version and my car vibrates so bad at cold start and idle I swear parts are going to start falling off. Reached out to customer service and was actually told their mounts "aren't a good choice for the 2.0L if I wanted a comfortable ride"! Really? I've never met anyone that wants an uncomfortable ride! And there's no "customer satisfaction" guarantee as evidenced by their "no return" policy once they've been installed. Buyer beware! Clearly they're aware of the low quality experience when mating their STERN motor mounts to the Audi 2.0L engine.

I brought my 2014 R8 V10 here for a tire change; ordered Conti ExtremeContact Sports from TireRack and shipped them here.Two things.First: these guys were the FIRST mechanics that I had ever been to who did not put any shoe marks on my door or doorsill. The R8 is a low car with very long doors, and it's easy to scuff them with your shoes getting in and out of it. I've driven the car across the country and had been to three different Audi dealerships; PURE Motorsport was the first conscientious enough to have kept their feet off my doors.Second: these guys were honest. I was told after the installation that my front right wheel had a slightly warped inner barrel. This was believable, because in Chicago last year I ran over a pothole big enough to swallow kids on my right front wheel. The tech gave me info on a shop that specializes in repairing wheels, charged me a good price for the tire changes (about $78) and I was out in about an hour.Definitely coming back here again.PS: as always, I forgot to bring my wheel locks. It just so happened that PURE Motorsport had a set for a Bentley that fit. Not that it really matters but anyways, I'd recommend these guys.
